It was so yummy! They had a lot of options and I could try a little bit of everything. It was an entirely different experience. I decided to go because of the Peanuts collaboration as a fan and I was not disappointed, the restaurant had decoration of the characters. I went on a Sunday and the wait time was for 2 hours, it was worth it! I joined the waitlist through the app and I visited shops nearby while I was waiting. I would 100% go again and try more dishes!

Quick service supported by technology. Check out the videos. I’d rate 3/5 for food as we have had better Sushi for the same cost. The sushi rolls are not bad though. Overall rating - 3.5

Absolutely LOVE this place! Sushi was fresh and delicious. Family friendly with a large selection and variety. There's something for everyone here. The hokkaido scallop, eel with cream cheese, ikura norimaki were my absolute favorites and the fried gyoza was perfection. It was a pretty cool experience having our beverages and wasabi delivered via robot. Also, the touchscreen menu and plate drop/clearing system at the table worked well. We enjoyed ourselves.

It’s one of my favorite sushi restaurant, when I am visiting in San Diego. Everything so fresh, one of my favorite item is the Sierra nigiri with salmon and Mayo, very rich and creamy. Also the shrimp tempura hand roll is very good. You can also have the tonkatsu ramen so you don’t have to go to a specialty ramen place. Everything that you can imagine they have. Their cold Sake is very refreshing. The service was little behind as everyone is very busy. I would highly recommend!

Wow! This was my first time here with some friends and wow what a fun experience! It is exactly as it sounds, sushi is constantly moving around the restaurant on conveyor belts! If the sushi you are looking is gone, then you can order it from the touch screen at your table and within a few minutes it's ready to be eaten! Water and non alcoholic drinks are delivered by a robot which was pretty cool! Kids really enjoy dropping the plates into the slot as well as getting a treat for every 15 plates deposited. There is an app to get on the wait-list but we were listed as 60+ minutes from about 330pm until about 500pm. We then walked over to the restaurant and they had a table right away. I would recommend checking in person about the wait time as the app may not be accurate. Well worth the wait!

This place is so neat I wish we had one closer to STL. Everything you need is at your fingertips from drink orders to specialty items. The atmosphere is awesome the waiter a robot was really cool to see the food was all really good. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the mood for sushi 🍣 and are nearby, do your reservation ahead of time so you don't have to wait. The restaurant was clean and tidy parking was an event so plan accordingly for that. All in all an A+ for my experience.

This place is awesome but be prepared to wait. You can easily wait 30-90 minutes for a table, but if your willing to wait it's worth it. The food moves around the tables on a belt and you can pick what you want. All the eel I tried was to die for and the snow crab was sweet and juicy. My friends and I had a blast.

This sushi restaurant is great if you don't like telling people your order! Once you get in, you really only have to talk to the people at your table. The food is pretty good, and I really like that you can get quite a variety of different plates. Don't expect super great service here; the staff are really nice but all busy doing other things. If you need a drink refill they can usually help with that though. It's rather expensive if you eat a lot like me, but great if you just want to grab a bite to eat with some friends.

Came back for a second time. Had signed up for their waitlist ahead of arrival through their app. The fish selection and quality is better than other sushi-go-arounds and AYCEs, but that's a reason for the higher prices. The quantity and variety of sushi that goes around is high so you usually don't have to order through the table tablet for most sushi items. Depending on party size and preference, there are tables and counter seats. The counter seats are ideal for single or couples, and have a quicker turnaround. I would definitely come back. I enjoy the environment as it reminds me of Japan.

Me and my husband went here for my 21st birthday, and it was the most awesome place I’ve ever been too! The sushi was fresh and super good, I’d also recommend the ramen and the miso soup! (Order from the screen) They were absolutely delicious and hot! If there isn’t a sushi that is on the belt, then you can order on the screen and it’ll come straight to you! There is also meat sushi aka meat and rice only, or there are sushi rolls that include seaweed, cucumber, (meat) and rice, with other super good ingredients on top depending what you grab. The Strawberry mochi was the most delicious dessert, and I just had to order two bowls! The price depends on the plates you grab and insert into the plate machine (from the conveyer belt). Everything else (black dishes) you leave on the table bc it won’t fit in the plate machine and isn’t made for that. (They will take it at the end when you leave) The place was lovely and lively! Definitely will be coming back soon!

Awesome experience. This was my first time at a revolving sushi place Even though we had to wait about an hour and a half to be seated, it was well worth it. Staff was very kind and helpful. The drink robot was really cool. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

JOIN THE WAITLIST FROM HOME! delicious, fun, and yummy. You can join the waitlist via the app. The restaurant isn’t very big so the wait around 7 on a Thursday was almost 90 minutes. But food can be ordered through the iPad or on the revolving cart. A robot even brings your drinks. There’s another place doing the same thing up the street with awful reviews. We went by there. EMPTY. Worth the wait here!!

My brothers and I come here on a weekly basis. Not only do they have great Sushi but also tasty Ramen. The staff here is very nice they also have take home boxes so you can fill them up with sushi! I recommend downloading the app that way you can join the waitlist ahead of time and plan ur day accordingly as sometimes this location can get up to a 180min wait time. I hope at one point they start to open more Kuras in San Diego as that would probably fix the problem with this location being so crazy busy. I highly recommend this sushi spot!

Been regulars for a year. We dine in at least once a month. Please download the app and join the virtual queue. We enjoy the seasonal specials! Though our usual favorite is fried calamari (they send servers to confirm our huge orders). Ask for spicy mayo on the side. Consistent and delicious food, fast service, and great atmosphere.

Amazing revolving sushi place. Service was excellent, food was fresh and tasty and the place was clean and fun for the family. Usually sushi boat restaurants have food that has spent too much time on the revolver but not Kura, theirs was always fresh. If you want to order off the menu you use the touch screen at your table and within a few minutes your order arrives on another belt. Great place for kids. After every five plates you put in the return belt, it shows you a video, after 15 plates, a prize is dropped down from a big dispenser. I would suggest getting on the app and putting yourself on the list virtually. We did it as soon as they opened and still had a long wait but at least we weren’t standing out on the sidewalk too long. When we got there a little after noon the wait was two hours and 20 minutes for walk ups. Parking isn’t great so be patient, there is a paid parking structure around back.

This was such a fun experience. I will say… the service gets a C. The staff didn’t seem happy or excited to be there. But the food was tasty, the atmosphere was exciting. Would definitely come back!

Went here for dinner, added our party through their app from home to avoid the ridiculous wait times while there (1-2 hour estimated wait). We still had to wait while there (about 30 minutes) but the app saved us a lot of time!! There's a cool little robot server playing cheerful music that will come around with drinks and some dishes, but most items ordered off the tablet will come down a conveyor belt straight to the table. The food was solid for conveyer belt sushi but nothing really blew me away. We ate A LOT (over 10 plates a person) so it came out to $50 a person, but each plate costs about $4.
