Always love going to Sammy’s! Love the duck tacos! Took my granddaughter for the first time and even she loved the duck tacos! Had to order an extra order just for her!!!
I had the Lobster Bisque. Awesome was the taste. I was cold and it just warmed my soul! I wish there was one in my area! I was visiting in San Diego and my grand daughter said it was her favorite place to eat...
We were fascinated! Love the salads and interior! Kids are at a with the surprise sundae! Great times and great pizza!

Good pizzas. Great place for dinner with family or friends. This location is in a mall with ample parking. Its also right next to a train station if u do not have a car.

Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill has introduced a new and improved happy hour menu. Happy hour will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. daily. The menu includes a new wide array of appetizers priced between $3 and $6, featuring: all-natural pepperoni flatbread with bell peppers and house-made tomato sauce; prosciutto and lentil salad served with a toasted crostini; and meatballs and marinara, two beef and pork meatballs with tomato sauce, shaved Romano cheese and a toasted crostini.
I love sammys. I love Sammys Woodfired Pizza. I moved to San Diego 10 years ago have never stopped eating here. I can't think of a single bad experience. Pizzas, appetizers and other entrees are ALL delicious. My favorite appetizer is the Lebni. MMM. Get it.
Great food, great service. My son and I went to Sammy's at Mission Valley Mall last night. We experienced great service and delicious food! I enjoyed a Thai Chicken salad- the peanut dressing was nicely spiced but not too sweet. My son had one of their wood fired pizzas and he is still talking about it today. Our server was very nice and attentive.
After a long day of helping seniors improve their Medicare plans, we were ready for a nice meal. The service was great. The server had great timing on when to check on our table. My burger was dry and kind of bland. I'll have to try something different next time.
This restaurant is Amazing. The pizza is cooked to perfection. It’s saucy but not too much with a great amount of flavor. The cheese & dough is just right. The food is still very hot when it comes to your table. I can’t wait to go back because they have great customer service as well. Thank you.
My cousin brought me here while I was visiting the area. The duck tacos were pretty good and I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich I ordered. I’m a huge fan of lobster bisque and I was expecting something smooth and full of flavor. Theirs was okay, not something I’d order again.
Stopped in for a quick lunch, had never been here before. I ordered the goat cheese pizza and it was amazing! Came with the perfect amount of toppings: goat cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and red onions. The crust was airy and crunchy. Our server was so kind and patient while we decided what to order. Will definitely be back!
Mixed feelings. Not my type of food honestly but what gets the five stars is the service. We had a terrific server, Steven will take care of y’all. My mom ordered chicken Alfredo pasta and she loved it because it was so smoky. My sister got the Hawaiian pizza and loved it. Do the right thing, ask for Steven.
They have the best salmon in town. Javier and staff were super friendly. Great experience with family and most definitely will continue to come. Great duck tacos as appetizers. My son loved his hamburger. And pizza was great. Cocktails drinks were great. Loved happy hour drinks. Highly recommend!

Our waiter Fernando was very nice and awesome person. Really good pizzas. Good fresh Greek salad. Indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend it.
This is my second visit, however it was the first visit to this location. Our waitress was really nice and the food wasn't as tasty as the restaurant near me. That being said we had a great time and the ambiance was pleasant.
Sammy's Woodfired Pizza restaurant is absolutely delicious! I love the atmosphere inside with ambience along with the lighting. I've been there twice within a month and plan on eating there again. My favorite menu item is the original chopped chicken salad. The sourdough bread is quite tasty too! Highly recommended to try it out!
Oh my my my Sammy… this pie is so delicious! My mouth is watering right now as I am typing my review! I could have one whole pie by myself but I had to get a bite of their crispy and fresh Caesar salad! Add extra lemon juice to your Caesar salad with a little bit more pepper ooohhh weeee so good with that Sammy’s pizza! Woodfired Pizza is no joke! That crisp in the crust and that chewiness is just right with all those savory topping! Don’t forget the hot fudge sundae in the plastic wine glass that oddly bends LOL 😆 Gosh everything on the menu that had to do with pizza, salad, and dessert was a hit! Sure, they’re got fish tacos but FISH TACOS AT A WOODFIRED PIZZA PLACE?! Don’t go for the fish tacos please when you’re at Sammy’s you go for the PIZZA!
