The nicest people work there! I loved the atmosphere the only thing that would have taken it over the top is if Italian music was playing...other than that the food was great!!! I highly recommend you try it. The pizza was so good!
Best Coffee spot in San Diego. My favorite place to have coffee time with my friends, business meetings etc. We also buy bags of Calabria coffee and brew our everyday morning coffee at home. People there are friendly that i know some by name and their Pistachio dessert (i forgot the name of it) it is the best thing ever!! Wishing they bring the pizza back because i really enjoyed having dinner and drinks after my coffee. I dislike the short hours on mon and tues lol but it's ok. I call this my favorite spot <3
I love this coffee shop so much. Their Caffe Breve is amazing and the service is always fantastic. Plus whenever my best friend visits, we got multiple times during the trip just so that she can drink her weight in the Caffe Vienna (I think it's called that??) and eat the tasty scones on her flight back. Definitely a 5/5 coffee cups rating for this place!
Grear customer service. Jeff was excellent behind the bar. Our food orders were taken efficiently and with a smile. The chef personally delivered our pizza and made sure we were all set. Speaking of the pizza, he made mine vegan and it was delicious. I will return!
Awesome pizza 🍕 and ☕️, laid back, nice ambiance , love everything about this place, will definitely come back:)
Everytime I’ve been here, I’ve had an exceptional experience. North Park is FULL of specialty coffee shops. But, Caffe Calabria stands above the rest. The people are friendly, the food is soooo good, & the coffee is delicious. I usually order either a traditional macchiato or a mocha (their chocolate sauce is 🤤🤤) .
Love love love this place!!!! The owner is just the coolest guy and will proudly show you around the place and talk to you. The coffee is outstanding and the baristas are just so talented. I can't stress how much I love this place!!!
Excellent Euro cafe, especially with the World Cup playing on their TVs. I’m hoping they play the Tour de France in the next couple of weeks.
Love the coffee, but someone should give their cashiers some customer service lessons. No reason to alienate your customers and neighbors because your employees are lazy brats!

They do get perfect rating because their coffee is probably the best coffee in California, plus this review was an isolated incident.
Best coffee, best service, best food EVER. San Diego has a GEM!
If you like coffee, you're going to love this place. It's better than Peets to my taste.
Ahhhhmazing place for 🍕🍞☕🍾🍷

Awesome service ! Delicious Naples style pizza diavola
This place exceeded my expectations, I ordered the Salciccia Pizza and it was delicious. Thin pizza, good crust, perfect amount of sauce and cheese, crispy at the bottom, good tasting sausage, light in your belly, this place checked every box on my list, I will be back for sure.
It is very affordable too, I paid like 15 $ for a pizza!
Got some madeleines too and those were tasty as well!
Food was amazing, although service wasn’t that good.
They brought our order all separated so we were hungry looking at our friends eating. We ordered 2 coffees and received one, when we asked for the other one, they were “oh really?”.
The guy in the register was nice but baristas weren’t happy to work. Seemed a favor lol
Besides that, pizza was delicious.

I love the iced caffe vienesse from this coffee spot. Every time I am in the neighborhood, I make sure to stop here. Another favorite of mine is the margherita pizza. The flavor of the oven bakes within the dough. It feels authentically Italian.
The quality of the coffee and the service are both great which has kept me coming back here for well over ten years. I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone who might come here with the intention of doing computer work: the booths in the back are for dining and drinking only. The owner came around to let us know about this new policy after I pulled my laptop out. I told him I understood where he was coming from, put it away, finished my drink, and then left.
This place is huge and as of right now there are plenty of other seats where computer work is still allowed. I hope this helps!
I came to study and ended up having probably the best almond milk espresso macchiato I’ve ever had thus far. The seating is really cool and plenty of spots to chill or do homework. Service was very friendly and quick.
Hidden gem! Walking by this I might’ve not stopped by, but luckily discovered it during the San Diego Coffee Crawl. There is an Italian pizza oven + lots of Italian foods and desserts + coffee roasted and bagged on-site! Unique cafe layout, perfect for lunch with friends or working remotely. There’s a cute patio upstairs as well.
I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Calábria and it's an experience I'll cherish for a long time. If you are a coffee enthusiast, then Calábria is a must-visit destination. They serve some of the most exquisite coffee I've ever had - fresh, aromatic, and ground on the spot. Their attention to detail is truly evident in each cup they serve.
What stood out even more for me was their delicious pizza. Their gluten-free crust is a delight for those looking for a healthier alternative without compromising on taste. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balanced and thoughtfully assembled.
I cannot write this review without a special mention of Blake, the pizza maestro. Not only does he craft the most delicious pizzas, but his passion for his craft and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set him apart. He exudes an infectious joy that enhances the entire dining experience.
In summary, Calábria is more than just a coffee place - it's a hub of passion, excellence, and culinary delights. I highly recommend it to all food and coffee lovers out there. Don't forget to try the pizza and say hi to Blake when you visit!
Located in the heart of North Park on 30th street, Caffe Calabria has one of the best pizzas you will find in all of San Diego. Homemade pizza dough, great atmosphere and fun staff. Can watch them make your pizza when you walk in or grab a table or sit at the bar (where we were). Great food, great drinks! Don’t go too to late, they may run out of pizza dough on busy days/nights.
So SO yummy. The pizzas are a tad bigger than a personal size- you could definitely eat one yourself because they’re thin. I was with 3 people and we got 4 pizzas and were still a little hungry.. haha.
They have a great deal where you can do 2 pizzas for $19 and we just did two of those.
Also got dessert after and I kid you not- this place has the BEST baklava I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was ridiculously moist. My brain could not comprehend.
Very cool atmosphere too with outdoor and indoor seating.
I've only been here once but it looks great on the inside. The honey coffee I ordered was tasty
