Service was quick, however, please note we were one of 5 tables being served. We were there for half price drinks but had they been full price, they would have defiantly not been worth the price. Happy hour tacos were ordered however again, half price was worth it, full price for 2 small tacos, not so much! Go on Monday nights if you want to try them out and not pay an arm and a leg! Side note, the chicken artichoke flat bread was good!
Great atmosphere and solid drinks, even the bathrooms look cool. Love the big, spacious feel; it's like a night club and a fine dining restaurant had a baby.
We stopped by this place after dinner to enjoy some drinks. They had tuesday tequila deals for a great price. I really liked the clay-style beautifully decorated mug for my drinks and the little additions, like the orange peel and flower, to make them even better. The place also had a great vibe and relaxing atmosphere.
Food was great! Our server, Danielle was fabulous. A bit of a wait but well worth it.
It looks like they have a changing menu. The first visit, I had short rib with potato and vegetables--delicious! The second visit, (the short rib wasn't on the menu, boo!) kept it traditional and ordered the mac and cheese. Even more delicious! My boyfriend had the ahi, which came out great.
All the plates I watched come out were beautiful, very nice setups!
I'd like to see what else is added to the menu throughout the year!
Good food, great atmosphere. Stopped in to watch a playoff game, have a beer and some lunch. Food menu is small but descent. service was good but a bit slow. Worth a drop-in
I always have the greatest time at Florent Restaurant and Lounge - mostly I think, because the venue is so versatile. Whether I'm going to brunch (Breakfast Sammie and bottomless mimosas for the win!), lunch (Superfood Salad por favor) with a side of Pinot Gris, or dinner (Mac & Cheese, Brussels, and that oh so savory Zucchini Florentine) with the perfectly paired house cocktail "The Jailbird", the eats and booze are always perfect.
I also really like hitting "foundation." - its this rad little lounge in the basement of Florent with a GORGEOUS full bar, fun DJ, and a birdcage photo booth. Florent really has the works - great food, dual level dance floors, bottle service, craft cocktails, live music, art shows (support your local artists!), even poetry slams.
And one Christmas brunch..did I even see Santa?!
This place is worth the visit. Highly recommend. And I'll be back...most likely right after this post!
Great music, great vibe, friendly staff. They make a great Orange Blossom Special (1/2 pour Campari, 1/2 pour Sweet Vermouth, full pour Hendrick's Gin, topped with Orange juice)
Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. We are visiting from NY and never went before. The waiter, Tyler was efficient, and very sociable. Great personality and made the experience more fun. The restaurant was able to accommodate for my gluten allergy, which is a must when we eat! Thank you Tyler for the great service.
First visit. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and just the right amount of attention from our waitress. I didn't feel forgotten or get the feeling she wanted to camp at our table all night. Shared a truffle oil burger and a salad with a friend. Food was good. Perhaps a bit pricey but I guess that's normal in the downtown areas of bigger cities. Beer was cold so that was a plus.
I came to Florent twice over the span of two months. The first time I went for a happy hour, the second time - a Saturday night private event. The drinks were a little pricier than I would like, but they were impeccable and the service was amazing. I later went at night and my friend had a bit too much to drink, and Victor - part of the staff really went out of his way to make sure arrangements were met to get him home safe. Service like this I havent found in many places, and that puts Florent above the rest in terms of hospitality. They also have a very cool vibe/ambiance in the downstairs area - perfect for pictures.
I saw the huge screen as I was passing by and knew I had to watch the game here. Seriously, the screen is easily 200 inches. The food was also very delicious. I had the scorcher and the burger was extremely spicy. The prices are reasonable and the waitresses attractive. They also have the upbeat danceable music I like so much. Good experience overall that is highly recommended.
Love coming here on the weekends for drinks. The atmosphere is always super welcoming and friendly, so that definitely makes the whole experience better. I haven't had food here yet, but when I do I'll make sure to update my review.
This is my Sunday spot! I have been coming in for a couple weeks and always get great service from Antonio. I get the burger but as far as drinks I leave that in the hands of my bartender. He made me a N.Y. whiskey sour that was awesome! I have never had a drink with wine in it. The decorations of the place are really cool. Hanging trees and big gold chain hanging from the ceiling. Lots of beer to choose from and a drink list that anyone could find a drink to enjoy off of. I will be back on Sunday!
