Caps Pizza And Bar - San Diego - Photo album

Great food and drinks. Full bar, beer and wine. Hours are kind of wild but open late-ish during the week only. New photos of what it actually looks like now as well as current menu. The pizza was delish, the stupid breadsticks (jalapeño) Were so good! Will def return on my next trip and try the p
Great little Italian restaurant a few blocks from the gaslight district and balboa park. We had ‘The Works’ pizza and a few different west coast beers. The food was great and the staff very friendly!
Such nice people and great service. We visited roughly a month ago and I still can't stop thinking about the delicious calzone I had. Will be back in San Diego in a month and can't wait to visit again. To a person, the staff was helpful and pleasant. What a gem, what a find. Do yourself a favor and
I love this neighborhood spot. Love the staff and community. Great for families. Definitely a local gem. I recommend anything on the menu, my most frequently ordered dish: house spaghetti with meat sauce + mushrooms. It's my favorite.
This place is great for unfussy Italian food with friendly unpretentious service. We had the Cap’s Calzone and Spaghetti EVOO with shrimp (AKA aglio e olio). The portions are generous, and the food is tasty. The spaghetti was perfectly Al dente. The garlic bread was good, if a little unusual because
The food is always good. Chicken Parmesan sandwich and Greek salads are awesome. All of the cream pastas are amazing! Lobster cream sauce and Alfredo are super good. I love the way they offer different sauces to all the pastas. Great staff, great drinks. One of my absolute favorites in SD
Great 4 cheese pizza! Added Pepperoni which were thin and delicious. Crust is crunchy exterior and chewy center, not crisp enough to pick up a slice until you eat half. Waitress was attentive and friendly, nice change of pace!
Good pizza. Really good. Their dough is that perfect level of fluffy without being too bready, if you know what I mean. My only real complaint about the pizza was that I felt they added too little sauce, but that's more of a preference thing. I'll just ask for extra sauce next time. The gal at
The food was great and the service was good. There was only one waitress but she was friendly and efficient. We found this place by accident but totally enjoyed our meals.
Best Calzone I have had! Love the flag and pledge of Allegiance on the side of the building as well. That was the main reason I stopped, to support as establishment that supports our country. Glad I did. I will be back.
Amazing food, awesome staff! We had Felix as our server, and he was on the ball! Well versed in the menu, he helped us choose a pizza that satisfied the whole table as well as drinks. Energetic, outgoing, and positive. I highly recommend getting “The Works” and enjoy the atmosphere this place has t
The food was great at Caps but the only con of the night was when we walked in to be seated, nearly all the empty tables were dirty and still had the check book on them. The waitress stated they were low staff and she did clean our table from our choosing.
I got the BBQ chicken wings and they are amazing. Natalia is a great bartender, she made sure everyone was happy. The drinks she makes are so good.
Just a Wonderful experience! About a month ago my NYC friend came to visit and we ordered late and our service was still accommodated with delivery! YOU GUYZ REALLY MADE HIM FEEL LIKE HOME 🏡 The food is delicious especially the Pizza 🍕 and Wings ! They are really SAUCY ❤️ I came back to try again
