We loved everything we had at Olympic cafe. The staff, especially the manager, were accommodating and friendly. Our dining experience exceeded expectations. We shared a super Greek combo, which was a great size for 2. The dolmadakia and pork souvlaki were great starters. The saganaki cheese plate was so good - opa! We will recommend this, and look forward to coming again next time we're in San Diego.
Amazing food and service! I started coming here with my family often. The meat is nice and cooked. The salads are delicious and they have a variety of wines. This would be a perfect place for a date. You need to come here to see what I'm talking about.
The nicest restaurant in North Park! No doubt this restaurant has one of the best Greek cuisine in SD, I loved the dish I had and so did my boyfriend (who says that it is his favourite restaurant in San Diego).
The meat was so tender that melt in my mouth, the potatoes was flavourful and well cooked. I had a piece cheesecake that was definitely my favourite from the other places that I have been.
Our server (tall and gentle girl that I don't know her name - Pardon me) provided an excelente service -hight quality- and helped us to find the best choice.
The atmosphere is nice, cozy and pretty! I love the yellow lights!
I would definitely recommend this place for all those who love exploring new flavors and tastes!
Got their platter, and it got the most tender beef skewer I ever had on it! Very generous portions, and it's even healthy.

I wanted to update my review from 3 years ago! I just had my baby shower catered by this wonderful restaurant. If you need catering from anywhere please order from here!! Nikolas was so kind and helpful with quotes and also allowing me enough time to get through my planning situation . Every single person all 70+ RAVED about the food. The portions were incredibly generous and we even had some not a ton left over because everyone ate so much of it! The food was hot, fresh and you can tell prepared with care. I've been coming here for years and just can't thank you guys enough for providing another great experience not only for me and my pregnancy cravings but my family and friends. It's safe to say you have definitely got my guests on your way. Thank you so so much can't wait to come back for lunch!!
I loved that they moved to a bigger location! The food is bountiful and delicious and the service and people are so nice! Price points are great for food portions and well food duh!!! Love this place!!
Olympic Cafe has been a family favorite for decades. Their newer place is just so cozy and friendly. My friends and I go there once a month and enjoy the amazing food. There's plenty on each plate, you might even split, for sure you will take some home! Everything they do is delicious! I particularly like the spanikopita...so rich and filling! They could raise their prices, like all over San Diego has done, but they haven't. The waitresses have been there forever, and that takes commitment on the owners part. It is one of my favorite places to eat. Get their early! Carpool if you are going with friends. The parking lot is always near full and you have to be willing to walk or go early to eat!
Modern Greek restaurant with a touch of modern. Plenty of salads, gyros, and side dishes to choose from. Parking is right in front of the restaurant. The outdoor seating is comfortable and SD weather is usually welcoming. Popular with locals. Recommended if you like Mediterranean food.
Stopped here for lunch. I got the Greek Chicken with fries. Everything that came with it was delicious! The chicken, the salad, the fries of course. I’d definitely dine here again.
My fiancée has been eating here for years and it’s her favorite Greek place to eat. When I went with her for the first time, I was going through the menu and saw BBQ ribs. Yes, ribs at a Greek place?! Literally what I told myself. However, I was craving some ribs anyways so I gave them a shot, man, and I’m glad I did that. I can honestly and truthfully say (I’m very picky on all food) these are the best ribs in SD and some of the absolute best ribs I’ve ever had. Fall off the bone tender melt in your mouth meat, super tasty BBQ sauce, so good I order 2 plates to myself! The service is always home feeling friendly and everything we’ve ordered, from ribs, to Gyro plates, to the salad is all AMAZING. Hats off to Olympic for really setting a standard for good food! (Picture doesn’t do it justice, I had already devoured one rib and a half 😂)
I've been to different Greek places here in San Diego, but this one became my number one. The food is delicious, like if it was home made, original, truly Greek flavored. It was so good! The service outstanding. This will not bey last visit for sure. I can't wait to try any other plate. Today I had the Moussaka and it was like a home meal made by mom. I could taste every ingredient on it, so good! I really recommend this place.
