I just ate lunch here for the very first time. The menu is so overwhelming with all of the good choices to choose from. The dish that I had was very delicious. Lastly, my waiter Randy provided me with top-notch service. I can't wait to come back and bring my family. This place is super-fantastic!
Hannah was amazing! Food hit the spot! Waitstaff is super attentive, cooks are top notch! Really couldn't of asked for a better meal, or experience. Best service in San Diego ever!!!
Just nothing but the best food and vibes!!!! <3 👍👍👍👍👍
One of the best vegan restaurants in San Diego. All the menu is fantastic and great service, friendly, fast, and efficient.
By far the best place in all of San Diego to eat. Food is amazing, service is amazing and the owner, well she gives the food so much love you can feel it while you eat.
Super delicious food !!! Really enjoy this restaurant . I highly recommend visiting The Loving Hut!

One of best Vegan restaurants I've been too! Very flavorful food and nice service. This location gives really good portion sizes at great prices :)
I have been eating here for a few years and it is my favorite vegan restaurant. My favorite meal is the Fresh Summer Rolls an Royal Noodle soup. Iris, the manager, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend trying Loving Hut.
Delicious! Ate there for the first time and I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area. Felt good being able to choose from anything on the menu and they are very fair in their pricing. Can't wait to try something new next time. The Cali burrito and buffalo strips were amazing! (: and the cake was to die for
I have been to Loving Hut several times. I have never been disappointed. It is great having a vegan restaurant in my neighborhood.

Great food, people, and vibes! One of the finest ⓥegan restaurants in San Diego!
I enjoyed their fresh sushi rolls and cheeseburger more than any I have ever eaten!
I love it here so much. It's a feeling you get walking in the door . Everything we have tried has been delicious!
So good! I’m bummed it took me this long to visit! Honestly they should advertise more. Really a miss if you don’t realize what’s here. Something for everyone.
I come to this place often the food is delicious! This review however is for a special order all vegan birthday cake flavor Mango 🥭 it was to die for and definitely worth it! I include some pictures the icing was also surprisingly the right amount of sweet orange and green mint colored writing definite 5***** stars Thank you Iris!
We've been here many times, and the owner always makes me feel comfortable. We shared with the owner the name of the Loving Hut we visited when we were in Vietnam 🇻🇳 the week prior.
We showed her pictures of some of the food there.
Another day, another successful meal. My vegetables were good today. My wife's salad 🥗 dressing ran over into her lucky lemongrass. Also, she will have to p cook her 'meat' more at home to get it crunchy.
7/15/2023: The menu has taken a drastic change since our last time there.
10 stars if I could! I've been loving loving hut for quite some time. This location in particular.
We had to get our usual order which is their Cali burritos trust me on this one. If you are ever craving a vegan version of a Cali burrito run here! I like their Thai tea as well, dairy free. This was our first time trying the loving strips. I have tried most of the menu items but I usually skip the appetizers. I really liked these "chicken" strips! The crispy texture reminded me of the beyond meat strips at KFC. The sauce by itself was not good. But dip the strips in and it's a winning combo!
Good tasting vegan food is so hard to come by. When I found loving hut a few years ago, I never turned back. Thank you loving hut!
The Cha Cha Noodles were very garlicky and flavorful. The spicy ramen was pretty good. Very good value and portions, and super nice staff.
We stopped here for a dinner during a trip to San Diego.
The customer service was great & it’s the main reason why I’m giving it a 5-star review.
The food was good too, especially the burrito, and prices are fair.
On the negative side, I would say that the menu is way too big. They have almost everything you can think of. From sushi, to burritos, from burgers to Pad Thai. This makes it harder to decide and to know what they are good at (it’s unlikely that they can make everything equally well).
Another point of feedback would be about the juices. We had a kombucha and the Kefir Soda and both were so so. Next time I will surely order different drinks.
Good experience overall but there are some improvement opportunities.
Food was great! Friendly service. Will be back again.
Addendum: I came back last week 1/13/22 and the service had vastly improved.
First time back in a few years and the place has been totally revamped and also the menu is completely different. That said, the waitress completely ignored me as I came a little early before the rest of my party. I thought at least they would offer me some water eventually I flag the hostess down and she was surprised that I haven’t been served. The food was plentiful and delicious. I ordered the steak tacos with a side order of garlic fries, barely tasted the garlic. The other orders were chicken club and the impossible burger. It seemed like the only time we got attention was when it was time to pay the bill. I was surprised the only salad on the menu was a Caesar salad many of my favorite salad items on the original menu were gone, disappointing. However if you are a vegan it’s a good choice for North County.
Been to Loving Hut for years and other locations across the country. Each one is different and unique to the area. For example, I couldn’t get Cali burrito in Orlando.
My favorites are Cali burrito, cha cha fried rice, loving strips and spam musubi. It tastes like the real deal! The trick is to eat it while it’s still warm. As it gets cold, you’ll taste the soy and chewiness.
This place is a delicious heaven for vegan people. I am not vegan but I have to say their foods are delicious. I ordered a Cha Cha and my friend ordered a bowl of ramen, both of our foods are very yummy. I think my Cha Cha’s texture is very similar to the real shrimps but a little more chewy. The flavor how they cook is very flavorful. We also tried their famous Pandan cake, it is soooooo good! I highly recommend it. It tastes like some cakes I had when I was a kid, which brings back a lot of sweet memories.
This is now one of my favorite spots! Kind of addicted! The food here is so flavorful! I have not been disappointed with any food items here. Favs are the buffalo strips, BBQ drumsticks, mongolian beef, BLT sandwich, and cali burrito.
Literally my top 3 favorite places in San Diego!
I always enjoy eating here and having a place where I don't have to question the ingredients of the food. Happy for this vegan restaurant 😋 that is so SCRUMPTIOUS! Regardless of your dietary choices, definitely a delicious place to eat.
How in the WORLD did they make vegan food that not only is good by vegan standards, but by general food standards, too? 100% try this place, and don't apply the double standard to vegan food many might have. You'll be surprised by the quality of the food.
My first time in any vegan restaurant and it didn't disappoint.
5 stars for the staff, super friendly and cheerful. Greeted is well and let us choose where to sit.
5 stars for the service and additional help choosing the spicy level and giving us extra chilly souce, twice. Checked on us quite frequently.
4 starts for the descriptions of each dishes in the menu. I and my guests felt that the description wasn't clear enough, a bit confusing.
Place is a must go. I would definitely visit again and revise my rating, if needed.
We have eaten several times here, and everything we've ordered has been very good and high quality. Recommend the Icon Burger over the All American Burger, along with the very popular (for good reason) BLT. These will both make carnivores into true believers. Tater tots are the greatest!
Delicious vegan food at great prices. Dishes are filling, flavorful, and nutritious. I ordered the tom kha soup, and my lunch date had the ocean tacos. We split an order of fresh summer rolls.
Both meals were delicious, but the tacos came with a side of bland tortilla chips, and service was slow.
This restaurant is excellent. We aren’t vegetarians and we still loved the food and were very impressed with the flavor and variety. I’m allergic to shrimp and ordered their fried shrimp dish. Their mock shrimp has the flavor and texture I miss. It’s really good.
Have never been to a restaurant in San Diego and ordered vegetarian food, but this being a vegan place, "veggies" were the only thing on the menu. Wasn't at all disappointed though. Ordered the Spicy Cha Cha, drunken noodles and crispy rolls. The crispy rolls are stuffed with a variety of vegetables and fried, and served with a strangely tasty, slightly spicy, sour & sweet side dip. Not sure what the Spicy Cha Cha is made of, but it looked very similar to shrimp, didn't taste like shrimp, but was very crisp and tasty nonetheless. The drunken noodles were a little disappointing compared to the other two but still good to go. Service was quick, and all items are reasonably priced.
After a long renovation, this place is back to business. Comparing to the other LH, this one has better menu and better tasting plates. It is always packed, that tells you something. Just get anything, really. Also their combucha seems to be the only one not offensive to me.
