Food was really good only reason I’m not giving a 5 star bcz the pho bowls could have come in medium & large. I’m Fresno, ca the bowls for a medium is $7 & the large ones are $12-13. Here you get one size for $13. Service is really nice very friendly & clean!!

I stumbled upon a charming family-owned pho restaurant nestled in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. The pho, which is the highlight, was absolutely scrumptious. The broth was a delightful mix of lightness and rich flavors. It was so good that when the server came to clear my table, I had to hold onto my bowl just to savor the last of the broth. I was tempted to rate it five stars, but the Banh Mi didn't quite hit the mark. While it included the usual pickled daikon and carrots, it somehow missed that tangy punch I was looking forward to. Still a must visit if you are in the area and craving Vietnamese food.

Great place for quick healthy Vietnamese food just around the corner from Marriott Pulse. We had special pho , tofu pho, salad rolls (nice and crispy), special vermicelli, and ice Vietnamese espresso. Generous fresh portions, clean clear broths, and fast! The staff are so very nice and efficient. They seem to know a lot of their regulars which is nice to see. Interesting assortment of paintings remind me of our trips to Vietnam.

Food is excellent and they open so early that you can come here for a beautiful bowl of pho for breakfast! My go to is the grilled pork with rice with a fried egg added on top. Perfect every time.

Best pho ga I’ve had. The broth is the perfect amount of spicy and the servings are generous for the price. The staff was also friendly and super quick getting the meal out!

I had this at 5 stars but in fairness I had to move it down a notch to 4 stars because the banmi wasn't what I expected. Anyway, was looking for a lunch spot near my hotel and came across Pho Xpress. A nice find. Service was super fast. The pho was outstanding. I had the rare steak with brisket and it was amazing. The fresh condiments were outstanding. Also, the Vietnamese Espresso caught my attention and it too was well prepared and hit the spot. The only down-fall was the beef sandwich (banmi). Usually Vietnamese spots are known for their crunchy bread and fresh toppings. My sandwich lacked the crunch and while overall acceptable, my expectations for a good banmi was not met.

Great place with delicious food. I personally know the owner and his team. All are super nice people. Two Vietnamese words I learned I learned from John. I do recommend to try here Mongolian beef, Orange chicken and Vegetable soup no noodles. Jasmine green tea is also very good. I hope you’ll like being here same as me, because I’m visiting this place almost everyday. Thank you!

Cute little spot with a mom and pop feel. I stopped in for a togo bahn mi and added some hot sauce to it before I left. When walking out they wished me a nice day and said my name. That to me stood out the most; great customer service.

Awesome restaurant. I went twice. Pho was great. The beef broth was outstanding. 2nd time I got the seafood noodle, and that was great as well. It was fairly expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.

The pho here was reasonably priced and tasted pretty good, even though it's not a traditional, authentic flavor.

From Minnesota, here for work. Hands down one of the best Pho Resturaunts I have been to in awhile. I ordered to go and everything arrived packaged to perfection and HOT! I hate when you order food and it arrives cold. The flavor of the broth was so tasteful! The noodles cooked to perfection. The spring rolls were delicious!

Great vermicelli - had the combo with pork, chicken, and shrimp. Pork and chicken are both good, shrimp is ok but overshadowed by the other 2. Egg roll was also awesome, would definitely order as an app if eating with a group. Would also like to try to their pho, overall very pleased. great fresh rolls with good peanut sauce. Very fresh and crisp veggies, good portion, overall great experience Reasonable prices, deliver via Uber eats and not too far from the convention center if you’re willing to walk. Would order from here again.

I was visiting San Diego from Los Angeles and was craving some pho. I searched multiple place's but none of them had fried rice with shrimp on they're delivery menu for some reason. I found this place and they had exactly what i wanted and man o man was it good. The shrimp was probably the best I've had so far from a pho food chain. Thank you.

100% Authentic Vietnamese Food. 10/10 would recommend. I will be coming back! The broth of their Pho is 😙👌 perfect! Their spring rolls are just right, and the peanut sauce that comes with it is on another level (the perfect mix). Then, their chicken wings are covered with a seasoning in just the right way that you don’t need to dip them in a sauce. The chicken wings are perfect as-is. Also, if you like authentic Vietnamese beer, they have those as well. I’ve been to Vietnam, and I’ve eaten a lot of food over there. This place is authentic and legit!

I was walking downtown and getting hungry so I decided to try Pho Xpress. Service was quick and my Pho came out quickly. I ordered extra veggies and it was worth the $2 extra because it was loaded with veggies! Great sized portion. The beef flank was really good too; everything was pretty darn good. I did wish the broth was a bit more complex, but overall it was a good meal and I'll be back to try some other dishes.

It was getting late near closing time but they still were allowing people to order if they order very fast. They were really friendly people and attentive. Food was fabulous! Pho, their rice dishes, banh mi, and egg rolls were yummy. If you're vegetarian, would really recommend their stir fry tofu vegetable rice dish. Sauce was absolutely delicious and addictive. I really recommend this place.

I ordered a special Pho, but they don't have beef balls as other places. The broth tastes great still.

A hidden gem. After living in Seattle and San Francisco, I thought I would never find authentic pho down in Southern California. Alas, I found one A full restaurant that has cured my feelings of nostalgia something that has been long overdue. The temperature of the soup, Quality of the meat vegetables and the overall selection very very well done. There isn’t Full table service, but after you order at the counter, they bring the food to your table, and then bring you other things upon your request. They do pay attention to you but aren’t overkill with their service either. I’m making this my new favorite favorite pho restaurant in San Diego. Quick and easy!

Very good vietnamese food and really nice staff for a very affordable price. Their eggrolls are good. The spring rolls are awesome. And the rice noodle mains are the best. Love this kind of simple looking places where food is amazing! Can't say more. One of the best vietnamese restaurant in SD
