Had the Panko Shrimp Tacos lunch. Very tasty and a good value for about 10 bucks.
Rubios fish tacos are brain food made with quality ingredients by a fellow SDSU alum. Need I say more?
So I've eaten at several different Rubio's in San Diego over the years, but yesterday was by far the best I've been treated as a customer. Super friendly and super fast service at this location.
PROs: Customer service is always great at Rubios. Patty was welcoming and brought the food to the table. She also greeted regular customers by name. Clean establishment, self-serve salsa bar, few blocks from the beach, great location. North side free parking is available for patrons.
CONs: South side is pay parking ~ beware. Restrooms required attention.
It was nice to chat about business. I shared with Patty that I use to manage Point Loma & started as a cashier in the SDSU area.
Ok the mango avocado shrimp salad is so bomb I just tried it for the first time last week and I’ve already come back for it twice. Def worth checking out it’s so good
I love Taco Tuesday at Rubio’s on Pacific Beach at sunset
Rubios Rewards offers some cool savings and treats. This was a first for this location in a really long time, like 5 years. I like the layout, lots of seating options just blocks from the beach. Customer service was excellent and as always the food is nutritious and delicious!
At Rubios, the customer service is consistently excellent. Patty, our server, warmly welcomed us and personally delivered our food to the table. She even greeted regular customers by name, creating a personalized experience. The establishment is kept clean, and the self-serve salsa bar adds an enjoyable touch. Located just a few blocks from the beach, Rubios boasts a great location. Moreover, there is free parking available on the north side for patrons.
However, it's important to be aware that the south side parking is pay parking, so exercise caution. Additionally, the restrooms could benefit from some attention.
During our visit, I had a pleasant conversation with Patty about business. I shared with her that I used to manage the Point Loma location and started my journey with Rubios as a cashier in the SDSU area.
This is a cute little place that is decently priced and the food is amazing! The staff is really nice and helpful. It's not over crowded and they are laced on the no shirt, no service! We are on the beach after all!! Will definently be back!!
I ordered the Linguisto bowl, side guac & chips, soda, & 1 chocolate chip cookie.
Food was bland & rice overcooked & mushy.
I expected better quality for $27.00.
Large seating area inside & tables outside. Specials are a good value. Tastes just like I remember from 30 years ago!
This restaurant is a favorite of ours and this location doesn’t disappoint. We love the fish tacos. Always satisfying and fresh.
