I have been to both locations now and can confirm that it is the best Ramen in Southern California (in my humble opinion). The wings and mixed drinks are amazing as well. The whole menu is fantastic in fact. I will enjoy every time I get to return here.

Family friendly, We enjoyed our entire experience here, We chose to sit outside(shaded and cool). The drinks were made strong and tasty, large square ice cubes filled most of the glass, and my boyfriend said his white Russian wasn't made correct, but still got the job done. The food was cooked well and had good flavor, quite a large quantity which i like, os I took some home.

Not bad! Good noodles, good toppings, and pretty flavorful tonkotsu broth. I tried the chicken confit ramen and it was pretty good. Not the best ramen, not the worst, I’d come back. The food arrived fast and the service is attentive, the seating is cozy and exposed to the elements, very enjoyable on a nice day! Update: when here again and had the Thai curry ramen. It was pretty tasty, with my favorite part about it being the barbecue shrimp which was amazing. The soup itself was not rich enough for a ramen, it was more watery/clear broth, but not bad. Green 🫛 in it were raw.

The service here is amazing, especially considering that this is not a traditional seat down style restaurant. Our food was brought out quickly. The waiter took the time to go over the sauces on the table, which I really appreciated because they weren’t label (which is normal at most Japanese style restaurants, but they never explain what's on the table). There is a self-serve water bar, offering free distilled and sparkling water. Love that for me. The eat-in location is communal style, so you may end up seating alongside some newly met friends to share a meal. While the eat-in aesthetics were nice to look at, I think there is one functional part missing. It's more of a semi-patio vibe than a building, which would be great if we start to once again experience some San Diego Sunny Days, but on the day that we visited it was fairly cold and with no enclosure or heater. I was more focused on being cold than enjoying my meal. After living in Japan, I've had my fair share of authentic Ramen, so while this is nowhere near authentic, it is quite unique and beyond flavorful. I definitely plan to revisit and once again order the Belly of the Beast. Which consisted of oxtail dumplings and short ribs, the meat was tender, and the boldness of the broth paired well. The cucumber salad was also tasty. What I didn't enjoy was the Japanese fried chicken. It was kinda of powdery, not crunchy, and dried. I'll skip that on my next visit. Side note: It's North Park, so parking is limited 😑 Definitely plan to return.

The ramen is absolutely divine! I had the Farmer's Market with an added egg and shrimp and it was *chef's kiss*, though it would be great without the add-ins. The char on the veggies brings out-of-this world flavor!

Really enjoyed the Spicy & Sweet Chicken Wings, Underbelly and Belly of the Beast Ramen. The atmosphere is nice, especially in the summer. There were a lot of flies but this was easily solved with the fly repellents.

Delicious foods with a chill vibe to enjoy your meal, either inside or out on the patio. The restaurant has a nice shady area and the outdoor patio isn’t in direct sunlight, making some hot ramen very enjoyable! There’s also a large fan to supplement some wind. The crispy chicken is a must get if you go where; great for sharing as an appetizer. We got the tonkotsu and belly of the beast ramen (most popular dish). Both were amazing. Plenty of extras you can add to your ramen as well (soft boiled egg, chashu, etc.). Broth was also flavorful and on point. Dog friendly place, too! We brought our two dogs and they were happy with their water provided! Definitely coming back here!

I had such a nice late lunch here today. The person who helped me was so kind and helpful, given my annoying sesame seed allergy which can make ordering any Asian dishes tricky and pretty annoying. The food was wonderful and came pretty quickly ! I got the bao buns with fried chicken, the cucumber salad and the chicken confit ramen. If I lived in San Diego I’d definitely eat here often!

Really great place, awesome ramen, full bar, cafeteria style seating! Hot sake, fire sauce for $1, this place is serving up soul food everyday, turning hangries into princes and princesses, lol. Cool spot, fair parking, best part besides the rocking music and hot delicious food are the hours, they are open late and don't rush you out!!! If you haven't been, go, if you've been, see you there next time!

Amazing Ramen and the servers and other employees were very kind and on things. I would say the seating could be a bit better, there were only very large tables or the bar, other than that amazing on everything else.

If this place was in LA, my husband and I would be here a few times a week, I'm sure. I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the music and drinks were especially amazing. Thank you👌❤️

It’s a nice place to hangout I just hope they can offer more convenient form of ordering for take out. You need to order and pay before getting seated which is fine but I hope the tip comes after service so people knows how much to give. Food is good and price is reasonable. Other than the ordering and tipping process this place is a must try! ❌Online order ❌Ordering Process ✔️Free Parking ✔️Convenient Operating Hours ✔️Convenient Form of Payment ✔️Cozy Place to hangout

Pretty solid spot! Service was quick, the ramen was delicious/flavorful, and the guy who brought my food today was really nice. We ordered a cocktail, Underbelly Ramen, Curry Ramen, sausage skewers, and beef gyoza. The gyoza was average (3/5 stars for sure) but the ramens hit so good (5/5) the sausage thing I got too reminded me of the mini breakfast sausage I used to eat (4/5) pretty interesting— never had it like that before but it was good overall. Atmosphere was great. It was low light with warm tones, plants, and good hip hop music.

I like to the vibe and the outdoor seating. Nice setting. The bowl of ramen is good enough. The short rib is soft and tasty. The oxtail dumplings are okay. Price is reasonable.

There always seems to be a line out the door, but it moves fast! We only waited 10 minutes. You order first and then seat yourself. The service is all really friendly and informative (answered all of our dietary restriction questions patiently and thoroughly). Most of the seating is covered outdoors, with one additional counter indoors in front of the kitchen line. We sat to watch all the food being made, which was fun. Their drink menu was also very tasty. The chicken ramen which was excellent. The farmers market ramen was very tasty, but some of the veggies were undercooked and still pretty raw, as well as unseasoned. The added egg and eggplant-wrapped tofu were delicious though. Would love to come back and try some of the apps and baos too.

This is a small outside sitting restaurant, I like the setup of it. You order inside then you choose a place to sit outside, I ordered a bento box meat eaters. I enjoyed everything but the kimchi it was my first time trying it so could be why. My favorite was the underbelly it was delicious and tender perfectly cooked I would definitely visit again to try it with other options.

Quick service and the food was amazing. Good portion sizes too. Enough that you can easily take some home for later. The pork belly bao was absolutely delicious and I will be excited to go back and try new things.

This establishment was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The chicken confit ramen was delicious as well as the beef gyoza. Really enjoyed the open air seating.
