Wonderful spot to eat with great harbor views. The staff and friendly and attentive. The food is great- the guacamole with salsa macha was fantastic. The cinnamon roll pancakes are 10/10 as is their Caldo. Also recommended coming here for drinks, they have a nice view of the USS Midway when it’s lit up at night. Laid back vibes- would come back again.

Friendly and efficient service, great view of the bay. Our group enjoy the foods ordered. A nice stop after a visit to the USS Midway Museum.

Just came here this past weekend for a birthday brunch and it was wonderful! For starters, we were a group of 12 so there were a lot of us to attend to and Alejandro was so quick, efficient and friendly. We were also quite needy with constantly asking for photos or refills and he was very patient and attentive. This was for my mom's birthday and he was so kind in providing a beautiful birthday dessert and making her day extra special. The food and drinks were all amazing! We loved their Bird Across the Bay which is a rum based cocktail that was delicious and it comes in this fun parrot cup! Everyone in our group was super pleased with everything we ordered and with the service. And that view is spectacular! If you don't sit outside, be sure to check out the deck before leaving. Thank you Alejandro and Vistal for a fantastic experience!!

Definitely liked our visit to this restaurant. It was included as dining while staying at the Intercontinental hotel and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. The service can be slow at times, however the staff seems to be generous.

I certainly can't speak for those who've had bad experiences, but we thought this was a nice place to go to for great lunch! Not busy at all on a holiday weekend, and you can go to it even though you're not a hotel guest! They will validate your parking for three hours, even then parking is only an extra $6/hour after that. Nice patio view on the 3rd floor towards the cruise ship docks. You can kind of see the USS Midway from here as well. Food was awesome. A bit pricy, but what can you do when it's in the InterContinental.

Came here for breakfast and LOVED it! It was so good and the views were spectacular. Our waiter was super kind and everything we ate was delicious. It wasn’t insanely expensive and would definitely come back next time I’m in the area!

Not sure I understand the bad reviews for this place. We had a great experience. We had a late dinner and the food was great. We ordered the guacamole, which was awesome. It does not have tomatoes which is a PLUS for my wife. The beef rib tacos were very good, a bit oily but that's primarily from the shirt ribs. They come with a street corn type side dish which was very good. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The drinks were delicious. When we're back in San Diego, we'll come here again to try out some other things.

Great terrace to get a beautiful view of the San Diego bay area. If you happen to be around sunset it is the best spot in town to watch with a drink in your hand. House chardonnay is a great option as well as any IPA beers offered in the menu.

The restaurant has a great aesthetic and well as a phenomenal back drop with a clear view of the Harbor. Food was amazing and if you sit on the patio the will bring a heat lamp directly to your table so you won't be cold while out there

Intercontinental San Diego: A Must-Try Breakfast Spot If you're looking for a beautiful setting and a delicious breakfast to kick off your day, Intercontinental San Diego is the place to go. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking, and the breakfast options are both varied and tasty. You can opt for a buffet, or choose from the a la carte menu, which includes a mouthwatering pan-seared salmon fillet served with orange juice and American coffee. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is perfect for starting your day on the right foot. Don't miss the opportunity to dine at Intercontinental San Diego - it's a must-try spot for breakfast!

Breakfast (recommend their chicken and waffles, Eggs Benedict, fruit, hash browns, and French Toast and enjoyed it) and lunch (Kale Salad) are definitely their strong points. Dinner was good (had the crispy local fish in the coconut sauce) and heirloom carrots but preferred the lunch and breakfast.

Charcuterie board was fiyahhh Also had a burger but forgot the pic. Cocktails- AMAZED ME. Bartender was knowledgeable and the recommendations were on point. The only reason why not 5 stars is that they allowed a huge party to come in after last call was announced to the existing customers. Hellllllla loud and so killed it for the other patrons.. but i get it. Its a bar… was funny to watch grown adults act like college kids..

UNDERRATED. The food and service was hands down 100% phenomenal. The kitchen is shared between 2 restaurants and the hotel room service, so the food can come out sporadically, but freaking delicious none the less. Sitting outside for beautiful views of the harbor is just a plus.

Delicious! I had a wagyu burger, fries and a drink. Added carmelized onions, yum! It was suprisingly cool outside, so they brought me an outdoor heater. If you’re cold natured, wear a sweater. Couldn’t beat the view!

Excellent avocado toast, decent latte, but also incredibly service by Antonio. When asked for hot sauce, he brought not just one, but two — plus presented them nicely.

Best service and great view. Reyna and the bartender were super helpful. The sun deck is the best. However, the outdoor furniture should work better for the amazing space.
