So Sushi Lounge - San Diego - Photo album

This place is alright but it definitely isn't my favorite. The food is just alright for me. The restaurants atmosphere doesn't vibe with me. The bathroom was rather dirty. There are far better sushi places for me unfortunately my friend does like this place.
Everything we ordered was really good. The fish was very fresh. We ordered a poke bowl, a bento box with karrage chicken, and a teriyaki plate with veggies. The fried chicken batter was flavorsome, and the teriyaki chicken was juicy. The tempura veggies were fried to perfection and tasty. The sushi
We really enjoyed this spot, the chef was very kind and the sushi rolls were absolutely amazing. Some of the specialty rolls are VERY large which is challenging to eat but it is worth it. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you!
Service was amazing! We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and they were extremely accommodating: from keeping our cake in the fridge to brining out the cake with candles to gifting us a birthday fried ice cream, it was a great experience! Definitely recommend the Kamikaze and Dynamite Rolls.
Food is pretty fresh and reasonably priced!
They are located in a quiet and hidden area. The food is superb! The serving in each order is big. Very good for sharing of 2 people. I definitely want to go back.
Fantastic! We ordered the Albacore Delight roll and Dynamite roll. The Dynamite is amazing, but you have to get another roll with a lighter flavor. Staff will recommend this to you, that's why we go the albacore delight also. Both are good, but dynamite is delicious. For dessert we got a strawberry
Delicious food, and very friendly service. I would recommend to anyone who lives here, or if you are just passing by, to try it out. They had 90's music playing when I went, which made the environment feel very nice. I don't usually drink green tea, but was curious to try the one here because it had
Food tasted good. Service was good. Location nice. Appropriately priced. Only minor con was our experience the one day I was there: a small dog was present and kept barking. I know San Diego loves their dogs, but it's a bit weird to me I guess.
This place is called So Sushi now but they said the menu is the same. I had the rainbow spider roll and the mango tango roll and the portions were large! I finished the rainbow roll but only ate a few pieces of the mango tango so I brought it home. I had the rest today and TBH, it was better a day l
Good sushi place. Service was a bit weird but the sushi is good. Had some salmon with black rice which was stickier than regular white rice but tasted good. Also had spicy garlic edemame which was pretty spicy for the average Joe, but I liked it a lot. Best was the Poke though. Absolutely delicious.
Was amazing ! We came for lunch and get some sushi. We order two rolls and more dishes. The for was absolutely great!! She also prepared us special spicy sauce that was delicious with the fried rice! Service was perfect.
Nice chill spot, not too busy. Food was delicious and the guy behind the bar was quick with the sushi and dope to talk to. Cant wait to go back.
Best veggie roll (Happy Stomach) I've had at a sushi spot. I enjoyed the creativity and variety of rolls. Reasonably priced. They also serve yakisoba and other entrees. Quick service and very polite staff.
This place should be called “So FINE Sushi” or “So GOOD Sushi” because the Sushi and Fried Ice Cream is so fine and good. You have to try this place.
