This donut shop is worth going out of your way ...They have the most delicious donuts in all sizes..even though Krispy kreme opened up next door , sesame has some loyal patrons..The service is the finest and that's what brings me in..see you there..

Donuts make a yummy morning) but the experience. Since the first day we walked in to Jenny's shop we have become fast friends. She knows each of my children by name and they are always so excited to see her. I don't think they even know the name of the store, they request Donuts by asking "can we go see Ms. Jenny?" My daughter won a giant stuffed donut at a carnival game and she immediately upon receiving it exclaimed "can we go show Ms. Jenny?" Well we did, and it inspired Jenny to create her giant donut that she now bakes daily. My daughter feels like she inspired something amazing. Again, it's about the experience. I know my kids will have lasting memories about the mornings we've spent enjoying Jenny's donuts. This place is an awesome little piece of what makes our PQ community great. We love Sesame donuts!

I stopped by with the kids and we all found something we liked. Wonderful variety and fresh! The nicest lady working at the counter. It's our new go to place for donuts.
Been getting my donuts from here for years. And my coworkers love Sesame donuts and do not want changes. The owners are very friendly and kind, they make the shop, they are the shop.

We found Sesame Donuts when we heard a Crispy Creme was moving in. It wasn't open yet so we went into Sesame Donuts instead. They are the absolute best donuts! All the donuts are delicious and the family are the most kind and gracious people ever. Why would you go anywhere else? We go out of our way to come here. This family works so hard to provide the best product and best service at a reasonable price. I think all donut lovers should support them! P.S. we never did go to Crispy Creme even after they opened. Why bother? Support local businesses.
Fluffy but still dense, deliciously flavored and perfectly golden. I loved my Boston cream! Glad we accidentally ended up in the right place at the right time.
Mrs. Kim is the sweetest lady ever and Krispy Kreme can suck it. Sesame Donuts has bear claws and apple fritters that are among the best in the city.

I was for first time on site this morning, the owners are very sweet and kind, especially there was a young man attending the customers who was very attentive and kind, I stopped to buy 1/2 dozen of donuts for $4.99, the donuts are like home made donuts, soft and some crispy, very delicious & fresh! I enjoyed eating my donuts with coffee this morning and forgot about my diet! I like to support local small businesses!

Absolutely delicious! The dough is so soft and has a good chew, very good donuts. Very sweet people at the front assisting, they’re pros and know what they’re doing here. The Boston creme is the best Boston creme donut ever.

As a donut connaisseur, this place might have the best powdered donuts I’ve ever had. So soft and fluffy, sweet, full of flavor! Already visited 3-4 times in 1 week… rip gym progress.
Also, the girl that helped me today around 2pm is so cute… been so long since I’ve talked to a girl so I kinda choked asking her name, lol 😆.

Amazing donuts - seriously the best that I have ever had. More importantly, the detail toward customer service was outstanding.
As I sat enjoying my donut, I got to listen in as a bit of new hire training was going on. I was completely blown away at the focus on the customer experience.
Oddly Krispy Kreme open up shop across the parking lot six years ago in an effort to displace this decades old family run business. That is literally gross display of the worst that corporate America brings to our society. Shame on them.

My wife and I drove from Chula Vista to Rancho Penasquitos to visit friends and she read about this place so we decided to stop by and pick up some pastries. We are so happy so happy we did, now whenever we are in the neighborhood we stop by and pick up some donuts.
The owners are so nice and told us they have been in business for 30 years and the donuts are not as sweet and not as oily as Crispy Cream. It's amazing we have the 6th best donut shop in our county.
Donuts are good but I’m surprised they’re ranked amongst the top in the nation, I’ve had similar donuts. & I love apple fritters & didn’t think there’s was that good. Other donuts were just as good as expected!

Donuts are incredible. WAY BETTER than the other place. iykyk. You know. 17 dollars out the door for a dozen donuts, filled, bars old fashioned, powdered, glaze, chocolate with sprinkles, they are all delicious. Have yourself 1.
Delicious donuts, best in SD in my opinion. Seems like they are always open. Left the bar at 2am and grabbed some donut holes. They have a huge variety and the coffee is good too. I believe they have breakfast sandwiches but its not obvious cause theres no menu. Very small place, mom & pop shop.
There is a reason this donut shop is rated in the top 10 nationally! These donuts are DELICIOUS! They will decimate the will power of even the strongest mind and most resistant diet.
Me and my family have been going here for years. The lady that I think owns the place is so nice. She would give me and my friends donut holes just for stopping in. When I got older and actually had some money in my pocket, I made sure whenever I was back in town to stop by and take my business there. You can order 1 donut and she will add 3 or 4 extra donut holes, free of charge. I always check in to see if this place is still around, considering Krispy Kreme thought it would be a good idea to just add their store literally across the street. Kind of scummy if you think about it. If you're looking to get donuts, go to Sesame.
Freshly made and you can taste it. Local business and better prized than Krispy Kreme next door. Brought half a dozen to a home inspection and they were a hit!
This place has the best freshly baked donuts around. If you are trying to choose between Krispy Kreme or Sesame Donut this is where I would recommend!! These are your classic donuts that have the perfect balance of airy and just a little crisp! Also the owners and their family are the sweetest and most welcoming people.

Skip Krispy cream next door and have a real homemade donut. This place is the best donuts in San Diego. Love there apple fritters too!
