Best atmosphere, makes you feel like you're down south.

Awsome sushi place. Everything has a Mexican spin, but they have the traditional stuff too. Everythings nice and fresh. If there's one negative, it's the noise level. Fun family atmosphere means high noise levels. Also, service can be a bit slow, by they hand make the sushi to order. Recommend it highly
Crazy good sushi with a Mexican flavor. The sushi is served with a special sauce and it's got a lime flavor. Burritos a huge and they serve you chips and hot sauce and you get a cup of broth soup, it's so good. Also they serve oyster with horseradish which is quite rare in SAn Diego. Definately give it a try.
We have been here twice. First time came during busy hours and service was slow. This time came for lunch on a friday and everything came at a great pace. Husband got steak toped with camarones and pulpo. I got the rock and roll, which was delicious , the hot roll also very delicious prob best out of all of them, la paz it was meh def needs more sauce and the k38 which was super plain and unseasoned. I personally like my sushi saucy so that affected this review.
I had a craving for sushi and have driven past this place countless times without ever stopping. Today, I decided to take a chance on this unique fusion of a Mexican restaurant and sushi bar, and I was far from disappointed! The Surf and Turf roll was simply outstanding! It was nice touch to have the complimentary fish broth! The staff also had great teamwork offering a great experience.
Our server, Jose, was fantastic and I can confidently say that I've found my new go-to spot for sushi in the neighborhood!

We had heard great things about this place and the menu looked amazing, we live close by and were so excited to try it. It is a cool atmosphere with cute decorations. We were seated immediately chips and salsa were brought to the table. We then waited for service for about 15 minutes with no one coming to our table, we watched servers pass our table several times. I finally told a waiter we were ready to order, he said hold on and sent a waitress to take our order, she held her pad and pen over us and just looked at us to start ordering. The food was decent the best dish at our table was the 7 mares, the garlic shrimp burrito was a good size but very soggy water would just pour out the bottom after the first bite. Sushi was good with a variety of options. Teriyaki chicken was just ok. We were never checked on once we got our food. Waitress was just rude. Would have been a great experience if the service was good. I even saw her eating something as she was bringing out the plates. Sadly a disappointing experience. If only these places would train their staff better...
Omg this place is bomb.. I ordered some shrimp hard tacos, not the roll tacos actual tacos, with its sauce and sooo very delicious.. Shrimp Ceviche tostada was delicious, my partner got camarones sarandeados and they were also so good. Cant forget the Pacificos.. I will def go back♥️
Food was great, spicy, hot and filling. Waiter was busy, I think there was a shift change. Overall the service was excellent.

Such a rare gem hidden in a small strip mall. I stopped by with family after a long day and this place did not disappoint. The menu is Mexican seafood - mariscos and sushi. Although we mostly ordered appetizers, it was amazing.
We will definitely be back!

Excellent quality food!! We loved the service, the staff was super nice and attentive. The place was cleaned and disinfected. My kids loved the sashimi and the kids menu. A new favorite family spot for sure.
This is the spot for FRESH Mexican Seafood and grilled specialty seafood in the South Bay (San Diego) their Micheladas are a great and make an excellent partner to their spicy and savory dishes…. The only bad thing is their parking. From what I understand you can park across the street at the RiteAid shopping center.

This was the best food I've ever had. The atmosphere was busy, and inviting. The staff and owners were attentive, and super nice. I'm considering the 20 hr drive right now!!!
Jose is awesome! He always remembers our order and is so attentive to us every time we come! Highly recommend this place and specifically Jose as your server!

Cool spot to have some good grub cold drinks. Took my girl there for the first time and overall it was a good experience. They had the games on (Padres, NBA) so that was cool. Drinks came out quick but food lag it a little. Reason for 4 STARS was becuase 1 waitress was a little slow didnt give me one item I ordered until the end and 2 the spacing between tables is small so if you walking in or out you have to watch out for people sitting down. Final say is this me and my girl had a good time drinks were good so I would recommend! Hit the spot up!!!
If you want to try the best soup in the world you have to come here and try 7 seas soup. This is something amazing and fantastic. I tried this soup in Mexico but it's not even close to how taste here.

I had the Ahi tuna tostada and it was everything. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the food is amazing. I'm visiting from Houston and hope to go back to Baja before returning home. Delish!
This place is decorated nice, for being a strip mall restaurant. They have limited parking, and it is difficult to get in and out of parking spaces (really tight spaces). The staff is extremely nice, and very helpful when we had questions about the menu. We had the shrimp ceviche, and the shrimp chimichanga. The portions we're generous, and the dishes were full of flavor. I highly recommend this place.
