This would be one of my favorite place to enjoy a lovely meal and the people here are so nice and courteous!
The Chicken Panini is my favorite and I love the dish they serve with chicken grilled in tikka style with rice. This is a lovely place to hangout and enjoy some amazing Persian Food!
Naseem’s Bakery & Kabob is a Persian/Mediterranean restaurant located in Mira Mesa. We had heard from friends who work in the area that it’s a popular lunch spot, and we’ve visited several times, although only on a recent occasion did I remember to bring a camera to document my meal.
On that first visit, all three of us got kabob plates. I got the beef and the boys both got lamb. It was a very typical Persian dish like I have seen at similar restaurants. The beef kabob was nicely grilled and seasoned and retained a lot of juiciness. The rice was fair, but I’m not a huge fan of rice to begin with (what kind of Asian am I?!) but it was not bad. I had this feeling I would have like
Great place for a quick bite or sit down and have a conversation around good food. Lamb kobideh was great. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The service was quick and the portions were also good. It was fresh. They also have a spicy sauce on the side, which was great. Would definitely recommend it for lunch.
Whenever I come here I'll usually get the beef kebab plate. It comes with salad and rice. They give you pretty good portions here. The beef kabob is flavored really well and taste delicious. Everything comes out hot and tasty. Some other dishes I like here are the chicken wrap, vegetarian stew, and our chicken skewers. Everything I had here tasted great. I had the pleasure to meet Naseem on one of my visits. She is very nice and friendly. We had a little chit chat about how she opened up the restaurant and it was a very interesting story. Service here is always good and the staff is always willing to help. They're tucked away in a business Mall complex with plenty of parking. Lunch time does get busy around these areas so plan ahead.
Naseem's is located in Sorrento Valley across from Qualcomm in a little center with a few restaurants on Pacific Heights Blvd. We first discovered her food when I was pregnant with our son nearly 6 years ago and our doctor's office was located nearby. Soon, it became a RAGING MANDATORY REQUIREMENT that I get her delicious lamb koobideh (ground meat kebab) every time we went to the doctor. Or sometimes Stephen would be forced to make the drive from Escondido even without any appointments because.... you know...cravings 😂
When our son was born I would joke that he's my little koobideh and pretend to eat his cheeks ❤
Naseem and her little cafe will always be so special to our little family. She is such a warm, kind person and you can see how hard she is working and you can just taste and feel the love she puts in to her food. Simple menu of kebab served with rice plates or in a wrap, and it's some of the best around town (don't need no fancy downtown $40 kebab when this is perfection!!) She serves tea and coffee, and if you're lucky to get your hands on them before they sell out, she makes amazing fresh baked cream puffs too! We'll have to show you guys next time if we can get there early enough!
This restaurant is managed by the Nowroozi family. They are quite nice and friendly. The food quality is the best from natural and fresh ingredients. They offer varieties of Kabob and Stews. You can pick kabobs in different format like in wrap, with rice and salad, or with spring salad.
The taste of the food are amazing and it has already the required sides. Thus, you don't need to pay extra for the sides. It is the best place to have a quick but healthy and delicious food during your working days. I usually call Naseem for pre-ordering whenever I start walking to that restaurant. When I arrived there, my yummy meal is ready on the table! As a result, I can come back to my work very quickly with lots of energy.
Friday is the day for treating myself with Naseem's baking and pastries. Their Persian style hot tea along with Naseem's Cream Puff is the best combination for refreshing yourselves during afternoon.
Thank you Nowroozi family for establishing such a successful restaurant.
Fantastic lamb kabob plate! Small restaurant, super helpful staff and we definitely liked the outside seating. They have an extensive menu that’s worth asking about if you stop in. This restaurant is close to a lot of nice places to stop in and check out. Highly recommend.
Close by to work, service was quick and staff was super friendly. Ordered spring greens, add Chicken... And Cream puff is a must!
The lamb and sauce are amazing. The chicken is prepared just perfect. Great rice to go. The combos are expensive for the amount of food. Service is good.
One of the best Chicken wraps I’ve had in quite some time. 👌 Management and staff is very friendly and food is not expensive compared to similar restaurants in San Diego. I highly recommend you to try this place !!
Great food and service. Gets busy so come early or be prepared to wait. Highly recommend the lamb kabob.
This place is right opposite my office, so invariably I end up eating here every now and then. However, this is the only place in that shopping compound that I eat at, simply because the food is really good. The hostess and her mother are really warm people and every time you visit, you feel welcomed. Their coffee is equally good and mostly anything on their menu can hardly go wrong :)

At first I thought it was a tiny cheap place walking up. Boy was I wrong, its is a super cozy with a great atmosphere early morning. The food is awesome too, we got the omelette and European toast and none of it was greasy. 10/10 would come again.
If you want good Persian food this is the place. It might be a little crowded during lunch (12 to 1) but that is the price to pay for good quality food. Staff is very polite and decorations are nice. No bathroom though.
Very good kabobs; fresh and flavorful. Good portion size.
Good food and very friendly staff.
Great little place for Kabob! Get the 'spicy' sauce, it's not too spicy and tastes amazing. Pairs perfectly with the food. Bon appétit!
