Wow. I am in love! This food is incredible! The flavors were just amazing and somehow very strong without overpowering each other. I always love pickled vegetables in my food but sometimes it takes over and that’s all you taste. But here you could taste each flavor of each item and enjoy every one! The menu is simple and easy to understand, but the possibilities are endless. You choose your base; either pita, rice or salad. And then a protein, sauces, and additions like veggies or cheese. I went with the pita which was to die for! It’s made fresh right on site and was so fluffy and delicious. And then I got it stuffed with chicken, onions, parsley mix, pickled cucumbers, pickled turnips, garlic sauce and spicy tahini sauce. My mouth is watering again just thinking about how delicious it was ;)My mom loved her creation too and we already started planning our next visit! The place is so cute and the workers were all so sweet and helpful. Our food was made in record time too! And the prices were so good, especially considering how fresh the ingredients were. The owners are sweethearts and really care about their place and the customers which makes the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy my next amazing meal!

It is an amazing gem of a place in San Diego, where Middle Eastern food is served but with attention to detail. The parking is free, nice and spacious well thought restaurant. The menubis is very simple and easy. I had the chicken Shoarma with garlic sauce, in a fresh pita bread, with fries. MUST TRY! I tried the Subborn soda. It was really good. The place was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

I was not prepared for this level of deliciousness. I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and I had high hopes, but I am just blown away by how much I loved my pita. I am a huge sauce person. And these SAUCES are just so outstanding that words fail me. This place is just night and day different from any I have ever experienced. And that is it right there. Every single thing that went into it was full of heart and Soul that you don't see everyday. I was so busy swooning and saying "oh wow" every bite that I could hardly eat. Now, some people might not feel the same depth of experience. I do know it is at least worth a try, and worth driving out of your way too. The Pita + Steak, Parsley Mix, Kalamata Olives, Toasted Almonds, Cilantro Tahini and Garlic Sauce is pure bliss! The owners are fantastic. Thank goodness they followed their dream. My life is better for it. And, I am looking forward to more amazing meals. I also can't wait to learn more about where all this flavor is coming from. It seriously blew my mind. I told Moody, one of the owners, it is one of the best things I have ever eaten. And I love food. The bread is coming out of the oven right in front of you and smells incredible. I would go back just for that bread. The meat was so tender and full of flavor. The Toasted Almonds are a really special touch. I got two sauces and even extra sauce. Sauce person, remember? Sigh. The CILANTRO TAHINI is something I would like to put on everything! My only 'problem' is that I want to eat that exact pita every single day, and somehow try all of the other delicious looking combinations. My daughter made a pita with chicken, Sriracha Tahini and pickled vegetables that was her kind of bliss. The Lemonades are delicious and so was the Baklava. Both the Walnut and the Pistachio Baklava are fantastic. The best Baklava I have tasted. It was so light and less sugary sweet, so the other flavors come out. I can't wait to get more. This place is so clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The owners made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. Add to that the feast for your senses and it's at the top of my 'must try' list for anyone who remotely likes this type of food; and definitely on my list of favorites. Thank you all for the delicious meal. You are all making the world a better place.

This place is epic. The food is cooked to perfection. The owners are generous, kind and humble and make the most delicious food. When we come in from Toronto, this is always our first, middle and last stop. You’ll be happy with anything your order. Enjoy your experience. #FromYourTorontoFans

Very good Middle Eastern street food restaurant. You place your order at the counter and they call your name when it is ready. Then you have a choice of inside and outside tables. Got the Chicken Shawarma Pita with Garlic Sauce. It was very tasty and had a fair amount of chicken for the price. The employees are very helpful and eager to make suggestions. The restaurant is spotless. They have some interesting light fixtures hanging from the center of the ceiling in the dining area that sets the restaurant apart from typical fast food places. Update: Got steak shawarma rice bowls. They were very good.

Absolutely delicious and truly fresh middle eastern food with a unique twist. Falafel is so good as are the pickled veg. Fried halloumi sticks are better than mozzarella sticks. Great sauces and drink options. Also try Finjan Coffee Co next door!

Found this place on a whim, and glad to try it! Good falafel and steak shawarma. Friendly, quick service, and (mostly) clean restroom.

I’ve been coming here since they opened up. They’re phenomenal and I’m not surprised they were featured on the food network. Love their pitas, bowls and fries. Specially love their falafel. They’re always fresh and crispy. Everyone who works there is super nice. The owners are down to earth and wonderful to talk to as well. It’s always consistently good and we never get tired of it!

The Esquire Pita with chicken shawarma, French fries, parsley mix, tomatoes, and garlic and tahini sauce on a fresh baked pita is the bomb.. it’s like the California burrito of chicken shawarmas!

My experience here was absolutely amazing! Upon entering greetings were immediately given along with free samples of an astonishingly delicious cold brewed Moroccan mint tea. The staff were beyond friendly. They literally treat you like honored guests. The knafeh was the best I've ever eaten! There was whole vibe at this place and it was infectious - even the other guests shook my hand and hugged me! Beautiful! Anytime I'm in San Diego I'll return.

Eygptian food, my first time. I've been meaning to come here since I found them at the Park Landing food fest. They have Shawarma and other mediterranean type dishes. I had the bowl option, with shawarma chicken and cucumber yogurt sauce. They have pita and salad options as well. Atmosphere is clean and modern. The register lady even stopped by mid meal and asked if I wanted more sauce and it's a counter serve place! Order to being served was less than 5 mins, maybe 3 mins. Very fun if I wasn't moving I'd come back here. Like food? Follow me for reviews in 10 states and counting! I have over 20 million views on Google maps!

We wanted to go with something different than tacos on this SD visit. Since im turkish i always down for good mediterranean food. We ordered 2 chicken 2 steak pita sandwiches, both were good, chicken was better. Freshly made pita bread really added something. Atmosphere was good, dining area nice and clean. Gentlemen was at the register was very nice and his service was top notch, definitely will come back.

Fresh and tasty food! The chicken schwarma was really good, especially combined with the other ingredients. Decor inside the restaurant was nice too. Loved the soda fountain with the unique flavors. Would eat this again.

This was my 3rd visit to Tahini and each time we’ve had a great experience. The restaurant is clean and fun to be in, the staff has been exceptionally polite and helpful, and the food and drinks are SO good! The first time we brought the whole family — 6 adults and 3 kids and everyone loved their food. They have a ton of vegan options which makes this place so perfect— lots of options for everyone. Their fries are bomb and their hummus is to die for. As a vegan, I’ve tried dozens of hummuses and this one is by far the best one I’ve ever had. It’s extremely smooth and very balanced. The flavors of each ingredient is just the right amount. Oh and they have so many great sauces you can add to your food! The sriracha tahini is really good and not too spicy. Lastly, they have a natural sodas fountain which is fun.

Really delicious food! I absolutely loved the option to build your own salad, bowls, and pitas! It’s actually one of the reason I decided to choose this place. The food did not disappoint. Inside was also really clean. No seating inside but there was outside. I also ordered my food online and picked it up. My ONLY wish was that they offered lamb BUT either way I will definitely return!

What a great place! The decor is minimalistic and effective, the service is great and the food is great. Fair prices too. Can't really ask for anything else.
