Mister Sushi - San Diego - Photo album

It was my kids' first trip to see the ocean, so we went to Mission Beach. They also wanted to try fresh sushi, so we randomly picked Mister Sushi. I got a couple of California rolls because I knew they'd eat those, and a rainbow roll because I knew I'd eat that. Turns out, they all loved the rainbow
So good! The Spicy Lobster roll was amazing and had a lot of meat, I got the spider roll (soft shell crab) which is always good, I special requested quail eggs wrapped in seaweed with rice(not on menu). The green tea has matcha, so it is very nice and flavorful. The Owner and employees are from Japa
$15 Rainbow roll tasted fine. It was pretty big and fell apart when picked up. The avocado on it was excellent. The tuna appeared enhanced, it stained my chopsticks which I’ve not experienced before.
Just a wonderful sushi bar in PB with fresh fish, creative rolls, and a wonderful chef behind the counter.
Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Quality ingredients and superb fish. Highly recommend the #17, but everything was great. The service was fast and really kind which made the experience all the better.
My favorite sushi place in Southern California. Naoki is an awesome sushi chef, he is like an artist preparing sushi! Excellent food, and atmosphere!
So glad I made a reservation here! Had a California roll and tried a rainbow roll-- they were both delicious. Service was excellent as well, and the prices were great considering how good the sushi was! Excited to go back and try something new.
We eaten practically at every sushi place in San Diego and nothing compares to the quality of sushi you get here. Tony and Sue always give good customer service and if you want fresh and top quality sushi this is the place. My whole family is sushi addicts and we just can't find anything that comes
Very small quaint Japanese sushi spot. Rolls were amazing, gotta get #14. Fried oyster were also great. Overall great experience. Will be back soon
It’s a little hole in the wall sushi place, yet the food is good and the service is great.
Small restaurant but really good sushi and service. We tried the market fish they had on special for the night and you could tell it was really fresh. I would say the price per roll is what you would expect given the higher quality.
Really great sushi without the huge lines and nice service. Small, dive atmosphere.
Get the #18. Or the 16. Or the 19. Or the soft shell crab. Everything here is insanely good and FRESH!
Great quality fish. Great service. I’ve been 3 times in the past 2 weeks and it’s very consistent.
This is my new favorite local sushi restaurant. They answered the phone right away, called me when my order was ready, and were super polite and friendly when they gave me the food. The portions were amazing, with really thick slices of fish that tasted super fresh. I also really appreciate that the
I just went there for a takeout as it was close to where I was staying. I was surprised by the quality of their food. Everything is fresh and it's a real Japanese restaurant. The owners are very polite. I liked my brief experience there and I enjoyed the meal so much 😀
Very friendly. Very fresh fish. Ask for Tony
