I've frequented this eatery on numerous occasions and I must say that it offers excellent value for the price. Their shrimp tacos are my absolute favorite and they pair extremely well with the plethora of sauce options available. Many of these sauces are incredibly tasty. They could really enhance their offerings with the addition of a bag of tortillas, that would be a delightful addition.

Wonderful customer service and the food is on point! Fish tacos were so good and I love the salsa options and all were good! San Diego is lucky to have this place 🌮

The flavor! Unlike other places I've been to all over Southern Cali, this place has incredible flavor and isn't packed with fillers like rice and beans. So delicious.

YUM! Amazing tacos for good prices. Great after drinking at many of the nearby bars. Sonora taco is a MUST. Their al pastor is delicious! Pescado taco was fresh and tasty albeit just a bit salty. Carne asada is one of their strengths here! Definitely worth checking out. You won’t be disappointed!

Must eat place in San Diego! Top notch Mexican food, here’s my favorites: 1. Battered fish taco. 2. Mar y Tierra fries. 3. California burrito. 4. Elote And honestly the list goes on. Do not leave here without trying at least the bettered fish taco and the mar y Tierra fries though. They are the best you’ll ever get. Oh and their salsa bar is FIRE, they have so many types of salsa and they are all super tasty! Staff is very helpful and the food is made timely, ingredients are always fresh and the food is always tasty. The only thing that has not been consistent is the al pastor. Sometimes it can be pretty chewy, but when it’s not, it’s very good. That’s all folks, hope you have a great meal!

Don Pepe and Ivonne are great! We had tacos with pollo and carne asada, the tortilla is just perfect! The quesadilla is divine! There are nice tables outside where you can enjoy the food and parking is not hard at all! I strongly recommend to come here and have amazing food! Thanks Don Pepe and Ivonne!

Great tacos and burritos near Balboa park in SD. They have both grilled fish and battered fish taco. My favorites are corn based grilled fish taco. They don't have great veg options but if you eat fish or chicken or any other meat, they've great food. Their salsas are super delicious as well. Highly recommend!

Tried the Baja fish tacos which were super crisp and fresh. The Al Pastor on a tostada was also really flavourful. The food is simple but executed really well. Also the insane selection of sauces available really gives this place an edge. Also the portions are quite generous.

The tacos here are definitely a delicious stop! If there’s one thing that you just have to have from her must be the Sonora tacos and shrimp tacos!! Absolutely delicious! I definitely want to come back! I got to get the elote next time! It looked so good but I was already full. Also important, an order of the quesadillas will be a pile (5+) “slices” of quesadillas (think pizza) so come hungry to eat all those or be sure to share, there will be more than you think! There is limited seating so just keep that in the back of your mind when it comes to you party size! There were also accommodating when it can to removing or not including certain ingredients.

Best tacos I’ve had in San Diego. Homemade corn tortillas, free pickled onions and tasty sauces. The Al Pastor is bomb. Definitely coming back.
