It was my nieces first taste of Pho & Asian food in general. She loved it! Our server was friendly, as was our cashier. Clean, bright & welcoming environment to eat in. It keeps me coming back.
Probably the best Pho I've ever had. Top grade ingredients at a price that won't break the bank.
The vegetarian menu is AMAZEBALLS!! Especially the egg rolls!! Has such a yummy, unique taste. Not that plain muddy favor like most. Great service, great food!! :)
Superb , delicious I have lunch there almost every day
Yummy and MSG FREEE!!!! Tastes just like quality homemade food =)
Good food. Probably better to eat there than take out, either way, delish! Kinda pricey for pho and more so consider it a payday Friday treat for yourself. Lunch time parking sucks, arrive by 11:50 and you are good to go! My fav:F1 house special FTW!
I eat here once a week during my lunch breack, the food is great. My favorite dish is stir fried vegetables and chicken
Some people complained about the portion, and honestly I don't see any issues. The portion is good and just right for lunch. I leave the place full and satisfied.
I ordered their popular dish shaken beef. When I go to New restaurant, I try their popular dish first. The price I believe went up from what some other mentioned. I saw a review saying it was $12. When I went there it was $15. Quite expensive, but the meat is juicy, tasty and cooked just right so that it's texture is just right to bite.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this place and would go here again but maybe try their less expensive menu. It's only 4 star because for the condition of the restaurant, the type of food served and the service, the price is quite high. For the price, the quality needs to be better, or the price needs to be slightly lowered.
3rd time eating here & love it. It’s not your typical Asian cuisine & the quality of ingredients is fresh & very tasty. We had 3 different dishes tonight mine being the steak & shrimp. I have to say the sliced steak here was one of the most tender delicious meats I have ever eaten in an Asian restaurant. AAAAA+
Shallots has friendly and quick service. When ordering dine-in, I get the food within minutes of ordering and it's very high quality. The broth does not taste as fatty as normal pho, and I really appreciate the lighter taste. Love coming here for lunch.
Good experience, starting from pleasant order taking girl, to good taste of brown rice with seafood and the Jasmine tea was good too. Food taste was upto mark, like 8/10. Overall recommend and would go back again.
I was in town for a week and I needed to eat my Vietnamese food. I am very happy with the soup which was up to my standards but their spring rolls were a bit off. They were pretty quick, and the price was fair. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
Easy, and free parking.
Clean rest room.
Nice seating.
Friendly, and easy going staff.
We ordered Grilled Pork and Shrimp Bun, Medium rare beef pho, seafood curry, and coffee.
Best coffee we have had so far. If you like authentic Vietnamese coffee, this is a must go.
Great Grilled P&S Bun. Highly recommended.
Curry and pho broth are off. But considering they don't add much seasoning or msg, we're fine with that since the ending taste when we're done makes the (good) difference.
At the same time, beef quality is great: tender, juicy, and just right!
Banh mi that goes with the curry is hot and crunchy
Even if you don't like to order food, get coffee at least 😉
I've only had their banh mi sandwiches and spring rolls. Their banh mi is very good. The bread is toasted just right, everything is proportion, and the meat is flavorful. I've tried both the pork and the filet mignon. Both are really tender. If anything, prices are little bit higher that most Vietnamese restaurants, but the location is perfect for lunch and the service is really good.
I finally found an Asian restaurant that doesn’t use MSG. The food is excellent! I definitely will come back as often as I can. It’s a 10 minute longer drive than the other Pho places near me but the longer drive is worth it to avoid MSG.
Bun and Pho and Banh Mi are very solid. Clean and quiet. Food is very fresh. Much less impressed by rice dishes. Over priced but way cleaner and fresher than all the other rat trap pho places around.
Nice, welcoming service and the food was quite good. The lemony chicken wing appetizer was delicious; better than the fried calimari. Filet mignon pho was good after seasoning it up. The broth on it's own was a little bland.
I tried today the pork belly banh Mi.
I was at first not very pleased by the way it looked in comparison with my colleague bun.
But after taking a bite of it I really enjoyed the flavours and the fresh baguette.
I want to come back and try more of their options.
