So good. Warm fresh chips, and salsa. Great margaritas and food.
Our waitress was fast and very helpful. I will be going back..
Went with a friend and had a fish taco and all the chips and salsa I could eat (first bucket is free and it's plenty!). The food was fine. But that's just it. Okay. Not what I had my heart set on when I wanted Mexican food in SD. But staff were friendly and the space was very clean.
Came for taco Tuesday, cod fish taco for 4.50. Also had the happy hour crispy jalapeño quesadilla which was great. Needed some sour cream.
We were at a party on the patio. Our waitress was great, the food was good , nice cross breeze outdoors.
I've been there for Happy Hour as well and that's fantastic.

I learned to enjoy Tio Leo's years ago when I still lived in the area. Coming back to visit, I made sure to come back. As expected, the food quality was amazing with large portions. The value for money spent is incredible. If you haven't tried this place, you need to!
Rating should be a 3.5 because service was slow. Tasty Mexican food as you would expect. The chicken enchilada Verde was full of white meat chicken. Could have used a little more sauce. Friday night and the place was packed.
Food is always good. Chips and salsa are on point. Something about this location lacks ambience. So that’s why it’s 4 star.
We drove from Ramona and it was our first time visiting Tip Leo’s in Poway, it had a really cool vibe.
We started off with a perfect margarita and the bartender made it PERFECT! Our dinner came out and it was hot and delicious. We had delicious food and a great experience… we will be back.
I order the chicken taco could have had a little more flavor but really enjoyed it also good quality on the meat. Great service and atmosphere, plus really delicious skinny margarita

Ala Carte Cheese Chile relleno was delicious. Chips and salsa were plentiful and tasty. Relaxing as we sat outside.
We gonhere a lot, food is always good, swrvice is spotty, sometimes 5 star, sometime not. But this is a great mexican restaurant with a giod bar as well.
Service was excellent! Friendly servers and speedy delivery of food. Carnitas and chicken tacos were perfect!

This was the first time I dined at this Tio Leo's. If you know this chain, you know that it isn't hoity toity gourmet but, as I learned this day, their dishes are very consistent in quality and presentation across the different locations. I had the chicken chimichanga and it hit the spot. The salsa
