After a busy day of sight seeing, it's nice to sit down and relax. Kuma cafe offers a little something for everyone in downtown San Diego. They're located near the USS Midway Museum and within walking distance to the Gaslamp Quarter. Support a small business and come enjoy their acai bowl. The spotlight truly shines on their cold brew and iced matcha latte. Make sure to stop by and say hi to Rom and Allyson!

It’s not hard to see how Kuma Cafe has been around so long downtown. It’s GOOD. Everything about it. The coffee, the food, the service. Savory or sweet, they got you. I love their açaí bowls and coffee. Coffee shops and cafes downtown come and go. But these guys are still there for a reason. Definitely the place to get a coffee or something to munch on if you’re downtown.

Cute cafe space, got a couple tables inside and outside. The food was okay, not great or terrible, just... was. We got the Kuma Bowl which didn't have much flavour, and the classic avo toast which was really expensive for how not filling it was lol ($8USD) Service was good and prompt tho.

🥑Seriously insane 🤩 avocado toast: super thin and crispy bread with a hint of rosemary + a perfect layer of avocado, feta, tomatoes. Good size as well! ☕️The coffee was great too and is offered in three sizes. 🪑 Cute and cozy indoor seating and a couple of lovely outdoor tables. 🫐 The picture of their açaí bowl looks great too i didn’t try it. 👍Highly recommend this place for a quick and healthy bite and will be back whenever I am in town again!

Was within walking distance from the courthouse. Service was very fast and everything tasted great and flavorful! They also had milk alternatives for those of us who are lactose intolerant. A bit on the pricey side, but that's downtown San Diego.

This morning, my husband and I visited Kuma Cafe. The cappuccino was delightful, and the Italian sandwich was exceptional! He ordered the Ginza smoothie, and its flavor and quality surpassed many others he has had at different eateries. We will certainly return! 😊

Stopped by this cafe on the way to a conference. I ordered the blood orange tea and the breakfast sandwich. My buddy ordered the mocha. The tea was really great and the mocha was delicious. The sandwich I felt was okay, and not too spectacular but the service was outstanding. I would definitely come back sometime in the morning next time I have an event in downtown.

Great small coffee shop with good lunch options. Pulled chicken sandwich is great! Updated review 11/13/2023: Food still great, they serve a consistently good product. I come here at least once per week

My husband and I went to the Kuma Cafe this morning. The cappuccino was delicious and the Italian sandwich was amazing! My husband got the Ginza smoothie and the flavor and quality were superior to a lot of smoothies that he's had at other restaurants. We will definitely be back!😊
