Shrimp Heads - San Diego - Photo album

This place is an absolute gem! Fabulous food, service and drinks. We got the fried catfish + Cajun fries, seafood boil (shrimp + snow crab), fried calamari plus two cocktails. Everything was super delicious and flavorful. The drinks were very refreshing (recommend the sweet citrus). Ended dinner wit
I went here last week for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. Even better than I could have hoped for. Good food and Our server, Dwayne was so kind and attentive, he is truly what made the experience 5 stars! It was a Wednesday night so it wasn’t busy, we got to just walk in. Very calm, clean en
I got here at noon when the place opened. The guy at the counter was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. My food came out very quickly. I ordered the calamari for an appetizer I asked if we could fry the calamari hard because I’ve had experiences where they hit or miss. He said “well
Everything was delicious! Definitely coming back! We got the Shrimp Heads special with house sauce and it was awesome! Had to order some garlic bread just to keep dipping in the sauce. Oysters tasted super fresh. Sharktinis were delightful (sake based drink)!
Food was so SO good!!! Finally got a night out with my husband and we're so glad we chose to go to Shrimp Heads. They did not disappoint in the slightest! The snow crab was to die for! The service was amazing and the atmosphere was so calm & was perfect for a date night.
Food was pretty good. The atmosphere was pretty good as well. What stood out the most was the customer service. Our server made sure that we were alright and treated us with genuine kindness. 10/10 would recommend.
Spent my birthday this year here (July 2) because crab is my favorite and I wanted crab from a place that had some of the flavors of where I come from (South Carolina). I love the casual small business vibes of a local seafood diner in the South. A lot of the seafood out here is the same flavor (no
Overall, this was the perfect combination of great local food, extremely reasonable prices, and kid-friendly. While the seafood was fresh and tasted amazing, we have to rate the Manager/Server even higher, as he was amazing with the kids and convinced them to try to new things, which they loved. Th
Service was nice, our host was great. The pictures are very much “how it started vs how it ended 😂.” Whenever my family & I come here we get down on the seafood boils, the flavors are so yummy. I love the muscles here. My husband ordered an alcoholic drink that comes in a shark head type of cup (
A lot of seafood boils really try to emulate popular places, but this doesn’t. They know the food and service speak for itself. The price for the food is really the best part, with how satisfied I left, I feel like I robbed them. Such a great place and will definitely come back
I discovered this place during COVID and found myself constantly ordering the food. I always get the shrimp boil and it never disappoints. After the shutdown I started going in and I just love the environment. The service is excellent. The staff is so friendly and there is usually some 90s rnb playi
BANGING!! This place was banging! Weezy, working front of house is easily the best worker I’ve seen in a restaurant. Here are some before and after photos, we DOGGED this food! If you can, stop by. You can’t beat their prices, atmosphere, or flavor! Don’t forget to the the house sauce on your boil!!
The boil was pretty good. I got the snow crab boil and chose to add all the flavors which was pretty tasty. Corn, potatoes, etc. must be ordered separately. All in all it was a good deal. Although the staff was nice, service was pretty slow. They seem to nickel and dime you for everything. I asked f
Simple looking restaurant. But the service and food was excellent. Had a seafood boil order with shrimp, crab, potatoes and other sides. Family of 7 was very happy and filled up after our visit. Our server was very knowledgeable and great customer relations. He made us felt very welcome. We woul

This place was awesome! I've been looking for a great fish spot in San Diego that doesn't break the bank. Seafood is going to be expensive but everything here was very reasonable and tasted great! I'll certainly be coming back to try their big baskets when I have someone who is ready to take them do
