First time I had Salvadoran food and is very good, the lady (cashier/server/everything) she. Was an amazing worker.
Pupusas are really good and not too pricey. The tamales de elote con crema are 🔥. We sat outside and they need to do some cleaning because there are spiderwebs all over the top of the building and outer walls and on the balcony. We waited about 40 minutes to get our food. I know they are busy with t
I came to San Diego and was craving salvadorian food. I google and found this place I got empanadas de leche and sopa de gallina with the chicken and rice on the side and horchata. I'm happy I chose this place. I ate the chicken with rice and salad before my review 😝 I was starving! The lady who too
Pupusas were good. Not worth the 40-minute wait but definitely tasty.
Been coming here since I was a child. And I will continue to come here for as long as they are business. If you're unsure what to get just order a pupusa, they are all made from scratch so they take a while to get to you but very much worth the wait. 10/10
Arrived by 8pm, and the clerk told us that they were only taking to-go orders. This is the second time I go and I am turned away because they are trying to close early. The lady told me they close at 8:30pm but the google hours reflect 9pm.
Worst service I've had in years. The restaurant was almost empty and I chose to sit on the patio. No one came to take my order for 10 minutes...... after placing my order I waited 30 minutes and still had no food. I left in disgust without eating. Inattentive unfriendly and incompetent service.
I love this place! Not easy to find this type of tamales (tamales oaxaqueños/guatemaltecos/salvadoreños) here in San Diego and their pupusas were so good! Reasonably priced for the tamales at $2.50. No credit card fees and friendly staff.
