Super fun menu with Korean ingredients. Lots of flavour and very indulgent. Massive portions! The wet burrito is an interesting alternative to all the other burritos in SF. Much easier to eat with a fork and knife. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Big smiles all around ☺️
Great little hole in the wall. Super casual spot to grab a bit on date night or with friends. The vine was relaxed with pop music playing. The cooks are right there in the front making the food fresh. The food's freshness and flavor profile was unbelievable! Definitely stop by here if you're in the area.
What the hell did we stumble upon? This place is delicious. 15$ each thing on the menu, and they're all amazing looking. I had the California Wet bulgogi burrito. Fu** yes. How have I never thought to combine the two when cooking at home? It's amazing. And my beautiful partner had the spicy TaterTotchos (tater tot nachos) and they were full, fantastic and delicious. There's a sign outside that reads "If you're in a hurry and expect it fast, you're at the wrong place" fully support this sign. Let's eat.
Delicious combination of Mexican and Korean food. Rather noisy, encouraging you to eat and leave. Very friendly service.
I made a wrong turn on Bush Street and found myself right in front of the Tacorea Restaurant, wow. I had my pal'et Rosita Caliente with me and she wanted to stop for tacos, so I whipped into the first parking spot I saw and we walked a half block to Tacos de Cerdo heaven. ☆☆☆☆☆
A must stop if you’re in the area! Great food, service, and you get chips with every burrito. As people mentioned, seating area is VERY small. The menu was amazing, I tried El Super Burrito, never got a picture, it was that good!
Korean Tex-Mex fusion (Chinatown Outlet)
Interesting combination of Korean and Mexican flavours. The staff are super friendly and the food was filling and tasty. It was really wonderful to see them making up the salsa verde from scratch in the store!!
Delicious food, very quick service. Maybe next time a bit more cabbage and white rice, less meat in the Mama‘s spicy pork bowl.
Ordered the El Super Burrito with bulgogi and it was delicious but it could use a bit more seasoning. Portions were huge - I would suggest sharing with a friend. The nachos and salsa were also delicious. My friend also ordered the Super Tater Tot Nachos with carnitas and the tater tots were incredible - so crunchy and delicious.
This place made me realize I have been handing out 5 stars too readily. I wish I could give it 6 stars. The tater tot nachos are SO delicious. Like rock your world, party in your mouth delicious. You must come here!
Tacorea is a very unique spot for some delicious fusion cuisine. The spicy pork was delicious and it worked well in a taco. The burrito was large and the spicy pork rice bowl had really good portions. Also, tater tots with salsa kinda slaps, didn’t expect that combo to be so good. I like the easy going vibe of the restaurant with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend making a pit stop here for a quick bite. The staff was very friendly as well, kudos to their creativity.
Probably the biggest burrito I’ve ever received. Jam packed too, great spot to visit in tenderloin
Absolutely delicious, mouthwatering burritos. One of the few Mexican fusion restaurants I've been to in San Francisco that actually seems to complement Mexican spices with additional, atypical flavors. The kimchi burrito was simply divine and as a Mexican who avidly loves kimchi, they couldn't have done it any better. My friend got the quesadilla which featured tater tots, which personally I wouldn't have eaten but they seemed to enjoy it. If you're looking for a low-key spot in the Tenderloin, definitely recommend this place. It is just a tad pricey (burritos are currently 14 dollars, with some chips and salsa on the side) but eons better than any fusion burrito I've had in the city thus far.
I’d rate this one of the top meals of my life. It was so good. I had the spicy pork bowl and had some kimchi on the side to try. Heavenly Korean taco fusion. Go here. Arrive five minutes before opening to be guaranteed a table. Your food will come out piping hot and super fast. Seriously, go here. You won’t be disappointed.
We stopped by here for lunch during our trip to San Francisco and loved it! The burritos are huge - definitely enough to share one between two people if you don't want to be too full. We got the California Burrito and it was delicious. Would definitely come back here next time!
FYI - it is a bit small inside, but they do have outdoor seating as well, which is what we decided to do since it was crowded inside. If you want to sit inside, you'll also have to be surrounded by the line that stretches past the door (this place is popular haha).
For Korean tacos they nailed the Mama Lee’s Spicy Pork and Bulgogi (Korean Sweet Marinated Beef). The flavor and texture were delicious. A taco well done.
The asada and carnitas were passable.
It seems like the place to try tater tot’s in a burrito, so maybe next time.
I got the pork rice bowl. The texture of the pork tasted a bit off (almost like it has been frozen before) but other wise it was tasty. Portion size was good as well. My friends got the burrito which honestly looks tastier. Would try that next time.
