Best ice cream in San Francisco. Must come here to the original location. Yes, there is always a line. But it's so worth the wait! Made-to-order in front of you.
The liquid nitrogen brings out the most intense flavors. It's not just eating "ice cream," but eating the "flavor." Peanut Butter Banana
At first I was skeptical, they couldn't be making every scoop! I was wrong! Ordered two scoops, both were frozen right in front of me. The Chocolate Ganache and Caramel Coconut Pecan with their spicy caramel topping were awesome
Smitten is the perfect place to go for a quick delicious snack. The ice cream has a wonderful consistency: smooth, creamy, and soft. It is made on order (with fresh ingredients) and placed in handmade waffle cups or cones. The stand has a wonderful ambiance and seeing the “brrr” machines in action i
Cool liquid nitrigen icecream. Two scoops can be quite a lot so I suggest sharing with someone. Unfortunately no mixing flavors for any portion size.
Super tasty and unique flavor: sweet corn with berries (comes w berry drizzle syrup). Very good and would def come back. Also if you pay with paypal you get $5 off your purchase!
Finished the 1st one and went back again to try the chocolate flavor. It is super chocolatey and a little too sweet. T
Probably the richest and smoothest ice cream I've ever had. They use liquid nitrogen to make the ice cream, and it's interesting to watch. Overall good experience and I would highly recommend it
This is truly magic happening. Prior to this I thought I’ve had my fair share with ice creams and I’ve tried quite some types and places. But after this, all other ice creams should be ashamed and stop calling themselves ice cream - it’s just sooo smooth, creamy with distinct yet subtle flavor. To b
The Brrrr ice cream was definitely worth going to Hayes Valley. I would say the downside to going there is no public restrooms nearby and that sucks, but hey they just sell ice cream. Elouise enjoyed her vanilla with organic dye free sprinkles and I loved my passion fruit with salty caramel. Overall
Went to Smitten on National Ice Cream day 2019 and tried the collaboration flavor called Surfer Girl. It was very tasty. #coneonly
The other seasonal flavor called Blueberry Crisp was also really good and in my taste buds opinion, marginally better but I have a soft spot for crisps.
The ice cream here is delicious. They make their own waffle cones which I found very impressive. They also use organic milk. It's a great place overall.
Loved the place. The chocolate ganache and brownies & cream were silky and amazing. Recommend adding the toasted almonds too!
I’m so impressed with smitten ice cream from the owner story to the presentation and the quality of the ice cream! It’s worth every penny! I want more!
Amazingly made ice cream. It's the smoothest because of the liquid nitrogen used makes the ice crystals very small. Really different flavors too that change all the time.
Pros:
- Delicious ice cream (fav flavours are Cookie Dough and Vanilla)
- The way the ice cream is made is interesting to watch.
Cons:
- Lack of parking
- Long line up
- Small shop but you can eat your ice cream at the park across
Super nice and creamy ice-cream. A little too costly for my liking though. USD5 for small cup of single scoop. Download Thanx app for free small ice cream. Several outlets in SF and LA. Freshly made when you order. Kept in liquid nitrogen to ensure ice crystals are as tiny as possible so that
