The entire experience from top to bottom was top notch...our waiter Keith was extremely nice and very good at his job. The wine spairings were spot on and informative. The food was prepared and plated perfectly. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who truly appreciates all it takes to make a perfect meal.

Came here for a birthday and had the tasting menu. All I can say was that it was amazing. The server was courteous and answered every question we had about the food. The food was very tasty, delicious, and delicate. We were very pleased with the food. I only wished that just as much as they paid attention to the savory dishes, they could do that for the desserts as well. The food and experience were amazing and will definitely come back again.

Nice place with good food and service. Since it’s on the pricier side, it’s a place for special occasions. I find that eating one entire fish per person for mains is a little too much. So, sharing may be a better experience. The salt crusted sea bream is quite a show. The fish is baked under a thick wall of salt. Very interesting!

Knockout meal. The food is fairly typical Greek dishes but definitely elevated - a little smoked curl of wood in the bourbon cocktail to compliment the liqueur and 23K gold-infused honey in the baclava sundae for a touch of shimmer. Wild mushroom moussaka was great- earthen flavors and the bechamel seemed to be torched or fired to perfection as it had that subtle crunch as the fork went in. Attentive staff; gorgeous decor. The cute fish in the massive tableaus are also mirrored on the wall in spots. Pricey but worthwhile!

Ornos was an unexpected surprise. Everything we ate had beautiful flavors, was creative and plentiful. I gave 4 star for service because it took a minute too long to order a drink and 4 star for atmosphere because the restaurant had an overwhelming fish smell when we first got it. I will go back and bring friends.

The food was delicious, and service top notch. In December the Greek salad had tomatoes that tasted fresh from the garden. Best hummus ever. 4 stars for being quite over priced. The one dish that was not really amazing was the sole.

Got the tasting menu - for $115 per person, it's quite a lot of food for 2 people! It was all perfectly cooked and very filling. The third course was my favorite, the lamb chops were incredible and every fish was served with sauces that complemented it very well. The service was also phenomenal - I had a slight allergic reaction to something in one of the cocktails and they were accommodating enough to box up the rest of the tasting menu for us so we could leave. For my partner's birthday, they also gave us a chocolate pudding with ice cream and all the staff signed a card wishing him a happy birthday! Highly recommend this place for special occasions :)

A good meal with a solid Restaurant Week deal. But for $, you can find a step better in the city (although hard to find this specific type of cuisine).

I had an amazing dinner here!! The spreads, the prawns, and the meals were very good. As well as the drink I had which was named the Poseidon. I had zero experience with slow service as Others have mentioned here. I was pleasantly surprise by the speed of the service actually considering the quality of the food!! My only drawback to this location is I would have liked more lobster in my Pasta but other than that I think then place is great. Maybe I'm not an expert in Greek food but the service was over the top stellar to me. They only opened a few months ago and we are still in the middle of the pandemic. But that did not stop them from being extremely attentive to our needs, wants and they even brought me out a birthday Baklava Ice Cream with a candle - no charge for me! BRAVO!!

Went for birthday dinner and had a great experience. Tasting menu was delicious. Good balance of a modern elegant take on Mediterranean food without getting gimmicky. Good portion sizes. Service was very friendly and smooth, I really felt like all the staff members wanted us to have a good time.

Wow what a spectacular dinner. My hubs and I dined at Ornos last night for my birthday and absolutely loved it. Our favorite meal of the year. First off the ambiance is gorgeous mixing a palate that feels sophisticated and fresh. The service was personable and professional. And the FOOD!! Oh my god so delicious. We had the Saganaki and trio of spreads with warm pita to start. The phyllo crusted sole and mushroom moussaka. And the baked baklava sundae and lemon cakes for dessert. I would go back for every single course alone. Thank you so much for a great evening!

The food was terrific. Pricing was as expected and fairly transparent, since the menu is available on line. The only reason I give this 4 and not 5 stars is that we had multiple servers come to clear our plates when we were not even close to done. The lovely person who took our order was terrific. We had multiple servers come in what felt like 5 min increments to ask if we were finished. One interrupted our conversation, then rolled her eyes when we said we were still working on our meals. We had a late reservation, so they were not going to turn the table and it was not so late that we were preventing people from going home. For 2 people to have ordered a bottle of wine, 3 appetizers and 2 entrees should allow us to eat in relative peace.

We are definitely coming back soon to try more items from the menu but for now, the Restaurant to me in what I tried and saw is a five-star place. We sit at the bar and meet Antony head of bartenders as well as Jose Luis who was our server and took great care of us, we did the caviar tasting and had some bubbles with it and a couple of drinks all of which were delicious. The cherry on top of the cake was chef Michael Mina stopped by to say hi, he is humble and kind to us so we loved meeting him.

Great addition to the SF scene - upscale yet warm. Finally, a new favorite Greek restaurant. Service was welcoming, conversational, and attentive, but not overbearing - the best I've had in a while. Made me feel like a regular on my first visit. The kind of place where diners at adjacent tables break into conversations with each other. Dishes were creative and flawless, down to deserts and tea service. Only wished they served traditional Greek coffee.

My first visit was wonderful. On this visit, while I thought the food was outstanding, I was starving after I left. Portions are MINISCULE!! Especially considering the prices. $62 for a piece of sole half the size of my palm. $21 for a yogurt and baklava sundae. If you have a small appetite and enjoy great food, this is a great dining option - though be prepared to yell at your dinner partner. Even on a Wednesday night the noise level was outrageous.

Hands down the best hospitality in the bay area. Walking in we were greeted by a gentleman named Smith. We were the first guests to enter the establishment and he made us feel welcomed, as if we were coming home to a family dinner and we were the first guests to arrive. Our server, Sophia, was attentive, quick to act, and her recommendations were so good that we stopped picking selections and asked her to choose for us. Great decision on our part. The sea bass was exceptional, the lobster pasta amazing. The lobster is deconstructed and plated in such a way that it's ready to eat while still giving homage to the lobster on the plate. The apps were delicious. Specifically the tuna, it was buttery and not overseasoned. Perfect. I also loved the dips, highly recommend this as a first course. Anthony (bartender) made the BEST margarita (Tommy's Margarita). It was brilliantly crafted. Hats off. Roca Patron Silver, Lime and Agave. So simple that the balance of ingredients is everything. Huge thanks to Smith, Sophia, Jaumaelynne, Anthony and Edwin for curating an exceptional experience for my night out with friends. Nothing short of amazing, thank you.

Who knew you could go on holiday to Greece without even getting on a plane? Such a superb experience! The bright and modern decor really transports you to Mykonos, even just for the evening. The fish case makes quite the impression, along with the very thorough descriptions of each type by the fish sommelier. We started with the SGROPPINO AGAPI MIA cocktails, which are refreshing lemon drinks reminiscent of frozen lemonade. The trio of dips with pita bread were delicious and a great start to dinner. The most difficult decision was deciding on which fish to get. We ended up choosing the lobster pasta and salt crusted sea bream (and the filet mignon souvlaki). Everything looked and tasted spectacular, plus the extra bonus of getting a little dinner performance as they prepared the final touches to the dishes tableside. The lobster was perfectly cooked, as were the sea bream and filet mignon. We finished on a citrus note to complement the citrus cocktails. The lemon dessert looks just like a pair of lemons and also tastes delicious too.
