Sutro Baths during sunset is a must. Might be a little difficult to navigate for those who are not as able-bodied as there are stairs, steep hills in areas, and thin walkways if you want to walk on the ruins.
Cool if your interested in seeing something historical, natural beauty, interesting little trail, and don't want to spend all day. Plan something else bc it's not a destination on its own unless you plan on surfing or beaching it...
Beautiful views! The cave is really cool and has 2 views of the beach. There is a lot of parking and it’s free. Just be careful with your belongings.
Visiting brought back a lot of memories. from Louis restaurant and the Cliff house with the vintage arcade that has been moved to Fisherman's wharf.
I spent a lot of time from age 10 and 25 exploring here. Worth it every time I did.
Love this spot. We did a lot of walking here me and my girlfriend I really thank her if she ever get to read my message lol it would be so nice 😊 she take me everywhere all the beautiful places in California I’m so lucky to have her
One of the most unique places to visit in the city. It’s really cool to walk along the old concrete and also take a walk into the cave. Hike up to the top viewing area and make your way down the Coastal Trail for great views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Great place for scenic pictures. Right next to the sutro baths area is the Lands End trail. It's relatively short but there some routes you can take; down a flight of stairs to a small beach, golf course and if you go up a long flight of stairs, it will lead you to a neighborhood that can take you t
A bit crowded on the weekend, but definitely check this place out for some SF history, abandoned exploring, seagull bathing, and beautiful beach views.
MUST SEE/DO!! This was really cool. Look up the history of the baths before going. Check out historical images of crowds watching performances there. Built in 1890’s and able to accommodate 10,000 people at one time! Amazing. Take a hike around the area and see the USS San Francisco memorial as well
Cool history and remains of the baths. Wish they were still around today. Would be an awesome bath house. Love the view of the heart cutout in the rock off shore. Made for some very beautiful sunset photos. Def a spot to catch a great sunset. Be careful and don't be one of the ones that needs rescue
