We were in the USA for 4 weeks and blue bottle was the best coffee in the USA. It was perfect. Didn’t need sugar or syrup or anything other than the exquisite taste of the wonderful coffee they provided. I wish they had one here in Brisbane Australia. I think every coffee shop in the USA could learn a thing from this shop.
Latte Art. I purchased many a latte while in SF and Blue Bottle was my fave by far. All the latte's came with beautiful unique works of art in the top of the foam on each one. If the lattes weren't so delicious I would have hesitated to take a sip.
Stand in the line!. It's worth the wait for this cup of coffee!
There's always a line up because it's so good.

Best coffee so far in San fran. Hard to find outside of Melbourne Aus!
Waffles. For $3 that hand waffle concoction is worth the wait and calories, carmelized on outside, to die for.
Great Cafe. I am always pleased with blue bottle, I cold say the obvious, try the syphon, or try the espresso. But honestly, they are just a good cafe, I've never had a bad drink here, and every time I visit the Bay I visit Blue Bottle, I highly recommend them to everyone.
Fave Blend:. Bittersweet - made especially for the Bittersweet Chocolate Cafe on Fillmore Street in Pac Heights.
Down in hipster Hayes Valley is the Blue Bottle Coffee Kiosk, a literal hole-in-the-wall perpetually churning out the takeaway coffees. Yes you can opt for a proper cup but there are no tables to sit at, just a narrow bench or the blocks of stone opposite the cafe.
I love exploring neighborhoods and during the weekend, we walked through Hayes Valley. It's yet another adorable little neighborhood, just north of the mission. There are tons of shops, restaurants, etc. There's

Amazing coffee! The cops go here so you know it’s good! Went there today. And oh, look at their featured flower arrangement when you visit, today’s was stunning! I ordered a Cappucino with Almond Milk - it was stellar.
Ordered the iced cardamom latte. Wow! It was a great afternoon pick me up. Cute corner. Very helpful & friendly barista, loved his energy.
I would have had no clue this little place was here if it wasn’t for the line of people outside. My Sweet Latte was prepared quickly and tastes great. Places like this are what I love finding. 4.9/5.
This blue bottle location is in a really cute little alley near the Hayes Valley section of San Francisco. It used to be horrible down here but now I have great little places like this. They have the best oat milk latte that I’ve had.
The seasonal matcha was absolutely lovely and the staff was very friendly :) the seasonal flavor right now is orange blossom and I really enjoyed it :) looking forward to visiting again to catch the next seasonal flavor :) 💕🙂
I wish they had one of these in Minnesota. I’m visiting SF for a few days and this place was highly recommended by a friend. Being a huge coffee lover, I was in love with this place by just looking at the menu, I was so confused what I should start my order with. Settled for a good old cup of dark roast drip coffee, it was delicious. I’ll be visiting a few more time before I leave the town and hope they open a few in MN.
That reminds me.This is where I first visited Blue Bottle Coffee. The shop is only take-out .It was my first experience of coffee with acidity. It was alright. I'm surprised that there are now more than 20 shops in Japan.
Unique location, nice area to walk around, and reliably great coffee. Don't love that they're owned by Nestle, but the staff here are amazing and so skilled. The wait's never bad, even if there's a line. Worth a visit if you're in the area!
Love this coffee shop. I could smell the rich aroma of the coffee beans the moment I stepped inside. Their latte was smooth and had a well-rounded flavor. Definitely going to be my go-to spot!
Absolute cutest location in the alley. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about thier coffee, and always make great recommdations. Blue bottle is my favorite coffee in the city. The coffee is super smooth and creamy, and the nola- delicious!
I'm a big coffee lover from Melbourne, Australia, and this is easily the best coffee I've had since being in San Francisco.
I was looking for a Blue Bottle location nearby and discovered this. Didn’t realize that this even existed as it’s off Hayes. I got there just before the main rush. Line seems to move quickly.
Great tasting coffee and pastries. A great morning pick up spot to get flavorful cup of Java
Great little pop up Blue Bottle! Quick service and amazing quality as you can expect! Really close to the Hayes valley shops! You might miss it if you're not looking for it
That was a good cup of coffee! Also the pastries are delectable. Great spot for early morning goers.
delicious Hōjisha latte : this was my first time trying it as a friend recommended it to me and wow, did I enjoy this.
Service is very fast even tho there was a bit of queue.
Atmosphere-wise, the store looks very messy behind the counter but being a bit hidden inside a street with nowhere to sit makes it feel like you found some kind of secret store :)
I recommend it, but maybe go to another of their stores if you are looking for a comfy place to sit inside while enjoying your drink.
Some of the best coffee in town. Every Blue Bottle location seems to just do it right…
We tried the Iced Nola Latte and the Gibraltar (not on the menu - remnant of a flat white). Both were made to perfection and the espresso here is to die for… craving it as I write this down and definitely going to be back…
