Matador - San Francisco - Photo album

While visiting SF for a few days we ended up going to this place twice. It was amazing! I honestly believe this was the best Mexican food I ever had. The tacos, the salsa, the quac and even down to my watermelon drink was exceptional! They did not disappoint. We had the same waitress both days and s
Matador is a nice place for lunch. Happy Hour meal starts at 12 till 5. Food was delicious. Customer service very nice and friendly. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in this area. I look forward to going back
The Taco selection is innovative and tasty. My friends had the Mexican Pizza and it was awesome...great place to dine. I gave it a "3" for atmosphere because we ate in the back room. Chips and salsa with Guacamole was under whelming.
The food was so perfect I couldn’t stop eating! I ordered the fajitas and wow I was not disappointed! It came with corn tortillas (a relief as someone who’s gluten free), a huge bowl of rice and beans, along with delicious chicken and guacamole😍
Great Mexican restaurant. The ambience was so cool. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. If I'm back in town, I will come back.
WOW. Just checked this place out since early opening in COVID hell. Able to sit inside now and I am very impressed. Service, food, ambience, decor and space all off the charts. And did I mention one if the best Margie’s I have ever had! To top it off, an incredible Happy Hour with food included
Food was okay. Chips and salsa were eh (that’s how I judge a Mexican restaurant - if salsa is fresh and somewhat spicy, food will most likely be great!). Husband had chicken fajitas and the corn tortillas fell apart before he could even take a bite. Beans and rice were good! I had the chicken flau
Food was great, we had multiple tacos, fajitas, also for starters we had elite, must try Try the spicy margarita and prickly pear margarita - both were delicious Service is nice Atmosphere is about loud but friendly Give it a try
Great spot for vegetarian tacos. I really enjoyed the cauliflower taco and I also tried squash one. My friends were raving about the mescal margaritas. The strawberry margarita looked quite nice, as well. Cute decor. Indoor and outdoor seating
We had Pollo & Beef tacos. Yummy! Also Fajitas - stake, Mexican Rice & Black Beans, guacamole The meat was tender and very tasty, flavourful. Service was very attentive, quick and friendly. Recommend this Mexican restaurant.
Visited the restaurant on our visit to San Francisco. The restaurant was close to our hotel and on the way to the Big Bus Tours stop that we were going to so stopped to have lunch. They have quite a limited menu and the menu available at the restaurant is a bit different to the one you find online.
This place is amazing! Stopped by on a Sunday late afternoon for dinner. The food was hot, fresh and was on the table fast. The server was personable and helpful. I ordered the quesabirra tacos and they were fantastic and a great recommendation. My wife ordered the fajitas and they were good. We als
Excellent food, friendly staff, prompt service, great atmosphere. My first time here and I'll be back. A bit of a walk from Union Square but well worth it.
Found this little Taco place at a short walk near our hotel during our SF trip. They have a cute outdoor seating but it was slightly chilly so we got a table inside. The tables are very close to eachother so no real privacy between tables; would have preferred slightly spaced out seating but the res
Visited Matador since it was close to our hotel in the Nob Hill area. The location was very busy. The restaurant has a cool environment and the wait staff very friendly. We had corn chips with guacamole and salsa as a starter, some of the best guacamole I’ve ever had, really fresh flavours. Thought
This spot lived up to high expectations. It was a little too windy to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor seating, but we had a great time indoors. The drinks were very creative; particularly the signature old fashioned. The chips are the best restaurant chips I've ever eaten. Service and fo
The location is cute (compact but wonderfully decorated). The service was very good, menu inspired, cocktails exciting, and the decor is awesome. On the night we visited, they were out of at least 5-6 menu items (all the items we were asking for they were out of). I didn't take any stars of for this
Had the molcajete and boy it was good! The prawns, mole and cactus were the star. Very good also the guacamole and chips and the churros.
