A very nice and friendly restaurant. We went there with my wife to enjoy our dinner on Union Street, and weren't disappointed. Very nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, generous portions and friendly staff, what else would you want. The quality and taste of food was more like something cooked at home, not fancy or extraordinary but solid and fulfilling. We liked it.

This place is a fantastic experience, they have a diverse menu, prices aren’t too bad and excellent service. We ordered a mix of things and there wasn’t one item that wasn’t absolutely Tasty. Everything you see here is really good so load up!

Best fries in this size I've ever had. It's wonderfully soft on the inside and perfectly crispy on ever area on the outside. Delicious! Artichokes were a little difficult to eat but yummy. That aioli was unique with the essence of lemon zest. Red onion strings were difficult to eat but delicious as well. Mac in cheese had very little pasta macaroni but the fries were fries were good for dipping into the pool of oozy gooey cheese.

What a treat. Excellent service, priced really well, delicious food, cocktails and wine. What more could a girl ask for?! Will definitely be back because there was so much on the menu I wanted to try. Definitely get the clam chowder! My top Rec

Picked up my pal Bilgewater at the Athletic club and was going to cross the bay for some Oaktown BBQ but he had to trip the Argocent Roginhalfter thingy at his tomato worm hatchery there on Union Street, and we were so close to Perry's on Union, he said...we'll just eat there. It was a great decision because our dinner was exceptional! ☆☆☆☆☆

My wife and I love this place and come here often. There’s always great energy and everyone is super friendly. Not only that, the food is excellent, with fresh fish (the Halibut!!), salads and great more comfort-y choices available. Highly recommended, but leave a table for us ;-)

Nice casual American restaurant with views of the water and Oakland bridge. The food is good - I ordered the Pot Roast and Caesar Salad. The pot roast was really rich, yet nicely balanced with the veggies and potatoes. The service was polite and fast. I recommend stopping here.

Great service, friendly bartender. The patty melt was tasty and will return again. Was told the Cobb salad is delicious as well, by many people.

Have enjoyed the food and ambience for years! Their burger is delicious with fries or homemade potato chips! Service is excellent. Unique old time posters are upstairs by the bathrooms. This 50 year old restaurant is well worth visiting!

First time at Perry's. Visited during the Union Street Fair. Everyone wanted to be seated outdoors where the action on the street could be watched, but we were hungry and took a table inside by the window looking out. The menu was simple and not over bloated like at so many other places. I ordered the Ruben Sandwich and salad and my friend ordered the Perry's Club sandwich with fries. The Ruben was very good, a ton of meat on a great bakery style rye bread with special sauce and sauerkraut. The simple salad was a nice balance of flavors. The Club sandwich was not so up to par, the toast on the exterior was hardly toasted but again the amount of meat included was a large portion. The fries tasted like straight out of an off brand frozen fry bag. The place was very busy, but the waitress was not overly attentive due to the volume. I did like the old bar charm of the interior. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would go to this establishment on a non regular basis..good but not good enough to rave to a friend about.

Went for a lunchtime BNI meeting. The service was great and the food was too. Hope to come back for regular meal. I’ve eaten at Perry’s other locations. This was first time here.

An institution and the original Perry’s - on Union Street for 45+ years. Fantastic, accommodating service and dependably delicious food and cocktails. Perry’s caters to a devoted, local San Francisco crowd. They’re currently only offering outside dinning, but their parklet is lovely, south facing and sunny. Get the burger or sliders - they’re spectacular. The cobb salad, fries, prime steaks, and Irish coffee are all also excellent. The Monday/Thursday half price bottle of wine night is a fan favorite.

Benedict’s eggs and French toast for brunch...Hanburger for lunch...BBQ ribs or Tuna for dinner... I’m Italian but Perry’s it’s sublime!! High quality service with excellent waiters and table cloths. Good for everyone at any time of the day and at night. Top location near by the best Gelato place in Sf (GIO Gelati). I’d love to live in between this two place...

Like stepping into a time machine of San Francisco's past. An all American menu with a delightful wait staff (Ask for Emily!). Fantastic local beer selection. Burger Tuesdays can't be beat. Relax and take in the sunshine.

Nice local café featuring both inside and outside tables. The coffee is nice - I had a well made latte here. The Kouign Amann pastry I had was also good, although much too buttery.

The service here is impeccable! The food is good. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in SF. There are super friendly locals who frequent Perry's. Overall, it is a really nice place to go, order food, have a dribble, and enjoy good company.
