I always love a good Thai place! This cosy eating place was easy to locate and it just so happened that I managed to find parking along the street right outside the place. The staff was friendly, and pure authentic Thai! I was not expecting anything less of their food. After a quick prompt order taking, the food was served hot and warm! Amazing quality matched with decent food prices! Would definitely return for their amazing dishes such as the green curry and their classic pad Thai! This place also opens till late, so its great if you need a late night eating place especially around the area! It's also located in a good district with nice bars and drinking places you can hit up after your meal! Would highly recommend this place! However not for big groups though and I'm sure it's pretty tough to find parking spaces during the busy meal times of the day!

We love this place for a late night meal. Place is tiny, but service is quick even when it’s packed. We had the Tom yum, som tum, pork panang, pad Thai, and chicken cashew nut. Everything was good. Tom yum was sweeter than we are used to - wish it were spicier. Gotta love an ice cold beer Singh! We’ll be back for sure. If only for the chicken cashew!

I stopped in to get Chicken Gra Pow to go. I waited only about 6 minutes, the service was very fast. I got it medium spicy and it was perfect, although medium might be on the hot side for some. Overall excellent dish, I will be back for sure!

I Love heading to Chaabaa when I arrive in San Francisco. The casual, cosy and energetic atmosphere helps me shake the long haul flight. There is always a great mix of locals and tourists. I have been eating the Pad Ma Kuer with brown rice for years. My absolute favourite. Tonight I spiced things up with the ginger tea :)

The size of soup was so big for me. It was a very tasty flavor. We orderd soups without noodles. Chikin wings was delicious!

A tiny, humble eating place right across the street from the A.C.T Theater. We ordered Goy See Mee (pictured), with egg noodles, and this meal was tasty and filling. We also tried the tea with coconut milk, which tasted good but was very sweet. The service was fast, the eatery open late, and the decor modest, almost industrial. If you only care about getting tasty food, you will not be disappointed.

Small hole in the wall place. Wasn't crowded on a Thursday afternoon. Pretty quick service! Ordered the duck noodle soup with bak choy and extra bean sprouts. The roast duck had great flavor and was well prepared, and the soup was pretty yummy too. The fried garlic on top was a nice touch! Would definitely come back.

Super love the Phad Thai noodles here, it was chewy and slightly undercooked, the way I like it. The green curry was alright, chicken a bit overcooked but the eggplant in it was yummy! Would come back for the Phad Thai.

Tiny restaurant with huge flavors! We ordered the coconut milk soup a couple appetizers and a mango dessert all of which were delicious. Put your name down on the list inside and expect a 20min wait or just order to go. The food came out fast and hot. The staff was friendly enough and everything we ordered was great. Next time you need Thai food in your life give this place a try.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal here last night. Generous serves, quality ingredients, great flavours. Salad garnishes lacking in freshness though. Green Thai curry, prawn salad, satay chicken skewers and curry puffs were all hot and delicious with just the right amount of spice. Staff friendly, very attentive and service was fast.

Delicious food and generous amounts. In a cozy restaurant, you won't be disappointed. Thai tea, Yellow Curry, and a Singha.

Great Thai spot. Had the chicken pad thai which was a massive portion. Chicken satay was great and so was the sauce. Great Thai iced tea although I wish it was a bigger. Staff was friendly and helpful but took a while for the waitress to come back to take our order (had to flag her down). Would definitely come here again. Prices just like NYC, around $10 for the main dish which is great.

Perfectly adequate... Some of the better Laotian / Thai food I've had in SF, especially if you are out after midnight. I had the tofu and string beans in chilli sauce. It was good, but not fantastic. The people working here were eating the same food, so they at least know how the dishes *should* taste.

Holy jeez. This place has good Thai. I've been all over, to all sorts of Thai restaurants, INCLUDING scores of restaurants in Thailand. I usually get the red curry, chicken/shrimp, "Thai hot" dish so I could baseline the quality of food and compare. This place is outstanding. We got the red curry dish, almost all of the appetizers, and a couple more seafood dishes. Then we shared it all. ALL of it was excellent. I believe it used to be called "King of Thai" until the management changed and changed names. I hadn't been to King of Thai but I hear it was the "King" indeed. The only gripe I had was that "Thai" hot was actually not hot at all. I come to Thai restaurants to bleed pepper out of my eyes, and this didn't even put a dent in me. Definitely try this place out, you won't regret it.

I eat here occasionally for lunch when I am working in the area. I usually get the drunken udon noodles (I realize udon are Japanese style noodles, but who's counting). Last time I had the green curry. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and the price is right. Open late is a plus. Great place for a quick Thai meal in the Union Square area.

My go to Thai place in SF. I get pad Thai and a Thai iced tea 90% of the time. The other menu items I've tried are also tasty. From what I understand they also have a secret authentic menu but I've never asked for it. There is usually a wait and there isn't much seating. But the service is fast and decently friendly.
