Highly recommend this San Francisco restaurant. It’s classy, comfortable, with a wonderful ambiance, amazing staff, and exceptional food & cocktails. I enjoy the fact that this can be a restaurant for a romantic dinner with a special someone, a casual business lunch, or a San Francisco Giants pre-game location. If you have not been to this restaurant, go immediately. You will not be disappointed and you will thank me later.

Wonderful location, roomy, comfortable, sharp fresh decor! Spacious seating and delightful piano music. The service was old school American, the waiting staff thorough, respectful, well mannered and helpful in menu suggestions. I was completely taken by surprise with the Tasmanian Lightly Smoked Ocean Trout. Such a brilliant combination of flavours, textures and produce......one of the best dishes I have eaten in the USA. The Red Snapper also delightful, the perfect blend. Greatest compliments to the Chef and his staff.

My family spent the most exceptional Thanksgiving Holiday at the One Market Restaurant! The service was phenomenal, but the food one amazing surprise, dish after dish! The whole experience was definitely ONE, no pun intended! , to remember! We will be back!

Wonderful atmosphere. Enjoyed a dinner for two accompanied by live piano music, amazing food, and wonderful wait staff. Everything is scrumptious and decadent and worth every penny! It was a wonderful way to end my birthday.

I've eaten here several times, lunch and dinner, mostly for business-related occasions. The steaks and tuna are perfect, the soups, salads, and bread are first rate, and the service is articulate and professional. Try the crab cakes! The maître d' is often hard to find but this may just be a reflection of them being very busy. 👌

I surprised my boyfriend with a wonderful chefs table dinner for his birthday while visiting San Francisco. The food and wine were nothing less than phenomenal and the service we received was first class! Thanks everyone for making this such a special night!!

I needed a dictionary to understand the menu, but the food was flavorful, inventive, and fresh. The waiter knew absolutely every item and its preparation. This restaurant was old-school elegant.

Without a doubt -- anyone who visits One Market *must* give the Chef's Tasting Menu a shot. Experience of a lifetime!! Literally one of the best meals of our lives -- it gave us a chance to step out of our comfort zone a little bit food-wise and I'm so glad that my husband encouraged us to go for it. It was well worth it!!

Mother's Day celeb treat by my son in law Eric With my daughter Joanne and her mom in law Lois Cain and the girls and Greg. Whole family luncheon..the prime rib was perfect 👌 . Nice place.

One of my most favorite restaurants in San Francisco financial district. I love the food and the quality of service. More importantly the atmosphere is supportive for business. We walk a mile to get there and it was worth it. The brisket was excellent and my client has the burger. Wonderful portions and the beverages were sweet. The waiter was the right balance of attention and barely interrupted our discussions. Business or pleasure it’s a great place.

Toasted Reuben sandwich from Mark and Mike's stall at Ferry Building . Best sandwich I've ever had...? Perhaps...! I've never really understood what was so appealing about Reubens... until this one. The pastrami were juicy hunks of meat that were incredibly meaty and tender, alongside extremely tangy and piquant sauerkraut (most other sauerkraut I've had were never this sour). All held together by molten Swiss cheese and toasted bread, served with some dill pickle spears of which I am now obsessed with. The latkes were also delicious - shredded finely, fried until crisp yet tender inside.

Happy hour from 3:30 to 8pm. 👍 Drink specials are pretty good. Stayed for the prime rib dinner which they offer on Friday and Saturday evenings. The beef was very delicious and the portion was very big. Added a little more salt to bring out the flavor. Both sides were great too and I would come back to eat more spinach and mashed potatoes. Service was great. Would definitely come back again.

Upscale restaurant with a short, but excellent menu. Located near the Ferry Building. All dishes were delicious. Very firebly and fast service. Extensive wine list. Great for a business lunch or a romantic dinner. There are a few vegetarian options.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner while visiting San Francisco. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and our waiter made excellent recommendations. I had the Alaskan halibut, and my husband had the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, which we both enjoyed. We split the chocolate almond toffee crunch cake for dessert, and it was delicious.

Our latest visit was our best dining experience of 2023. We started with the Corn Soup, presented as a pour over, smooth and rich with fall flavors. For one main we had the Halibut, grilled delicately on a bed of deliciousness too complicated to explain. For the other main, Pork Tenderloin, easily the best I can remember. Massive wine list, excellent cocktails. Exceptional setting, exceptional service, exceptional food. Excellent choice for a special date night. Easy access with MUNI.

Wow! What a great place to enjoy a quiet evening with a loved one or friend. Great food, excellent service, and a beautiful building. Everything was prepared perfectly. Of course this is not an inexpensive place to go, but people should already know that when they come here. Yum!

Always a great experience! Food is first class and always classic at the same time. Chef Dommen has created a community to deliver an amazing space and time when you sometimes forget how delicious the food is. The sommelier is also worth note as Tonya respectfully weaves wine into your meal without ever feeling pretentious! Great space great meal!

Stopped by for restaurant week with my GF. I ordered off of the prefixed menu for $65. I started with the grilled octopus that was cooked to perfection served on a bed of green beans, and then for my main, I had the grilled scallops with a red wine emulsion, smoked onion puree and chanterelle mushrooms... that had to be some of the best scallops I've had in my life! To finish, I shared a chocolate toffee crunch cake which was very decadent and tasty. My girlfriend ordered off the regular menu and also had the grilled octopus and the halibut as her main. Overall, everything was delicious with impeccable service!

Upscale vibe, lot of execs grabbing lunch during the weekdays. The veteran French waitress who has been here since the turn of the millennium is jovial Even though you can't go wrong with most of the food items, there is no one dish that really stands out

Amazing food, amazing cocktails... one of those few restaurants that strive for perfection. I'm the kind of person that always orders the same dish because I'd rather just enjoy something I know I like, but not here. There are maybe a few dishes I haven't had yet because I'm fascinated by how well-crafted and executed every dish has been so far. It's to the point now where I think to myself, "ok how are they gonna make THIS one amazing..". Even the cocktails are delicious, you're just not going to see anything that's not tailored and balanced to perfection. Finally, I have to give a shoutout to the staff who are the definition of professionalism and are just the final touch on the whole experience. Few restaurants make me take the time to actually write out a review so rest assured that this is the place you want to go if you want a no BS quality dining experience.

the food in the new year's eve dinner is not that memorable, but the experience itself is delightful. you just have to step outside before midnight to watch the lengthy firework display. once that's done, just hop back inside to finish your meal.
