We had been there once before years ago. This time we got the 4 course prix fixe menu with the wine pairing. We're seated at the counter in front of the chefs prepping food. Great show. The dishes were delicious and we were able to check out the others we didn't pick. They were all very creative. Ch
We did the $100 tasting menu.
Pros: Pasta course was excellent, dessert was great (and I enjoyed how you got a few different things), halibut was good too.
Cons: Pacing was a bit off (but not too bad). I wouldn't recommend going here if you are vegetarian. The menu had two courses that didn't have a
We dined early last Sunday after a matinee. From the host’s initial warm greeting to the gracious and attentive service from our waiter (and assistant)…. it was lovely.
But the kitchen needs a lesson in making gnocchi properly: (they should be like pillows….not lead weights). Most of the food was
Amazing meal and experience here!!!
We had $100 five courses experience per person. We were so happy, had a great time!!
From the delicious and innovative food, to nice bar seating to watch a whole efficient team (4 ppl) make magic happen, and great services (clean and replace all plates every sing
Run. Don't walk. Every bite was superb and the entire team at SPQR delivers world class service. We hosted a large group (20+). Kyle and crew made us all feel right at home. (if home were a Michelin Star). Thank you SPQR for a very special evening!
Had a delicious and fun dinner at the beautiful marble bar. Our bartender/server was knowledgeable and nice. We brought a bottle and paid the $40 corkage but I would have gladly taken the $50 five course wine sampling. My date and I split 2 apps 1 pasta 1 main and a dessert. Tasting menu looks like
Solid food and great service! The menu allows you to almost make your own journey :)
Excellent place to enjoy a weekday pasta tasting menu for much less than $100. Their pastas are exquisitely prepared and sauces so good, I kept asking for bread to soak up every last bit. If pasta isn't your favorite, that's okay - their octopus appetizer is one of the best preparations of that prot
Reasonably priced tasting menu with generous portions. Ask for a seat at the Chef's Counter if you want to see how the dishes are prepared.
The food was delicious. We came during brunch and it was basically empty! I was pretty surprised. We had the tasting menu. The price is not too crazy but with a drink and taxes, it added up. My favorite dish was the squid ink pasta with octopus and mussels. I don't usually like olives but this dish
Very good pasta dishes and fresh, bright salads. The service was fantastic from the help with pairings, navigating the right space and ensuring our glasses were never empty. Ate at the chef’s bar so we were constantly engaged with the cooking of the meals which was done with a very careful attention
My first experience in a Michelin star restaurant in the US and what an experience it was!
Got the foie grass and chicken liver to start with both of which were delicious and we enjoyed it despite the tiny portions.
Also got the truffle risotto which was the special
of the day. This literally melts
5 stars for food but 3 stars for price. It's super expensive for pasta, $30+ per pasta and it's not a huge plate. They have 1 michelin star which is why they raised their prices. I've heard from others who recommended the restaurant to me that it use to be cheaper and much easier to make reservation
