4stars only because it was a bit too cold and the restaurant is not totally separate from the Hotel Bar and a lobby. Our 8 Course Menu was really a Michelin star quality. Our waiter was so kind and offered us there pairing wine for our dessert which was definitely a better choice than what we would have chosen. We definitely will go back and recommend this fine dining restaurant to our Friends and neighbors.

It was an incredible experience! The crew is highly professional, kind and welcoming. Food and wine pairing were magnificent. Each dish was coming with a glass of perfectly paired done, which makes the dining experience truly unique and unforgettable. Server John and manager Eric were caring and attentive to details. Chef Rogelio personally came to the table, served us some delicious tequila, spent couple of minutes to check if we truly enjoyed the dining experience. Highly recommended!!!!

Absolutely loved our experience at Luce for a celebratory dinner! The staff was extremely professional, yet kind and welcoming. Food was incredible and a good value for the price among many of the fine dining restaurants that we have tried in San Francisco. Would come back again!

A wonderful dining experience. Chef Dan and all the staff are definitely 5 stars. The food was exquisite and paired delightfully with the best wines. The dining area is large but still quiet and separate from the busy outside. I would recommend this place for any and all lovers of delicious cuisine.

From the starter of caviar to the desert of chocolate torte, I would not have changed anything that the Chef prepared that night. Each bite was so well balanced in flavor, texture and each plate complemented the next. We will be following this young chef. And I must say that the wait staff was excellent they're just enough to know when you needed something but not hovering or making you feel rushed which added to the enjoyment of the evening.

The experiences at this michelin one star are what i was expecting. The food was so good. All dishes are nicely good and balanced. They captured my palate and visual curiosity. You’ll be able to get full experiences of what michelin starred restaurant looks like.

Great food great service. The food is imaginative, tasty and refreshing. The tasting menus are great and not too expensive compared to other similar restaurants. They often have special menus also that are even better deals. It is easy to get a reservation there also. Only thing bad seems to they often don't answer the phone or voicemails, so if you have questions, you may be out of luck. Recently tried and the salmon is amazing and it just Neely's in your mouth and the duck is tasty and very tender.

We had Sunday Brunch here. Food is delicious, service is superb. The restaurant is located at not so busy area, nearby parking is easy to find. We reserved the night before, when we arrived we were greeted by name! They also offered complimentary cake for birthday girl! Will come for dinner later for sure! True Michelin star restaurant.

We enjoyed the courses with the wine pairing immensely. Each dish was fantastic on its own and made better with the wine pairing. Also these amazing courses in one meal was absolute perfection. Some of the highlights were the peanut butter and jelly inspired duck liver dish, the pear soda and of course the duck main course.

Did the winter tasting menu with the drink pairing, cost about $160 total. The meal was tasty, especially the course with the Foie Gras, but a bit over priced for 1 Michelin star and the environment/devour, which felt like a average decent hotel restaurant.

We had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner here. The service was amazing and the space beautiful. We had the Pacific amberjack lightly marinated in Yuzu and olive oil, the Pacific bluenose bass poached in olive oil with mussels and squid, and the duck breast. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious.

Definitely worth a visit, we stayed in hotel and it's not very often we eat in the hotel restaurant as we prefer local food. We came here for lunch, food here is very tasty and well presented, price is reasonable , service is fast and friendly. I would love to comeback again. I love that bull pork sandwich, and the risotto with great texture and taste but I think it need a bit more salt.

Great for breakfast, especially if you are staying at the hotel. The buffet isn't a bad option. Pricey, but goes with the territory of a centrally located, San Francisco, CA hotel. $$$$ out of $$$$$ I would recommend Luce Restaurant.

Airy and bright hotel restaurant with a very good American brunch menu (described in flowery terms). Try the breakfast tacos, fresh,vegetable centric and just the right proportion of spice.

Had a great meal here as part of an event with the wine makers from Chêne Bleu in Rhône. Hadn’t been here in a few years. The new chef is great. Highly recommended!
