Dunya - San Francisco - Photo album

Charming Mediterranean spot at Polk street. It has the same owners as Lark at Castro so I had high expectations for the food and Dunya haven’t let me down. The meze platter was a great way to dive into classic Mediterranean flavors and textures and vegetarian moussaka was an amazing comfort meal tha
An amazing find! The food was awesome. Every thing we tried was better than the last thing. So delicious and well plated. The presentation was great too. Would highly recommend.
The menu has a great variety of starters. So fresh and delicious. I do recommend the sample plate, you get a variety of dips and some other bites. Also, the staff is really nice and helpful.
I stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. I came in for thé wine and was blown away by the food and service. The hummus and fries alone elevated a simple dish to a 5 star app.
This has gotta be my new favorite spot for date nights! Low lit with limited intimate seating. We initially had a table but decided to sit at the bar. The menu is perfectly designed for shareables that pack so much heightened traditional flavors. The mixed grill is highly recommended- you get the gr
My friend and I very much enjoyed our food from here. We ordered to-go and had a drink at the bar while we waited. The service was great and the food was tasty.
Hande was my server, she provided a nice service. Food as well was really delicious.
Great spot for Mediterranean food. The lamb and mezze platter were excellent and the kunefe was a really good surprise for dessert. Great staff and atmosphere too!
Walked in the restaurant no one was in, we had reservations people came in shortly after there were two tables of six, so best to do a reservation on the weekend. The food menu was very clear what you saw the menu you got it above expectation presentation was great, host was great, experience was per
Really good Mediterranean food! We tried the shishito peppers and the lamb brochettes and they were both really good. Service was great, we sat outdoors and were very comfortable. Would love to come back.
Met my friend for brunch here on a Saturday morning. They made a reservation and we sat outside. It was very nice. Then the server came over and took out orders. We got a pitcher of bottomless mimosas and different benedicts. I got the crispy prosciutto benedict. It was soooo good. Perfect runny yol
Quickly seated at afrer-lunch hours. Got recommended items. Skewers are good not the best but good sides, probably better with drinks. Would comeback for drinks as they seem to focus more on them with vibe
Great food; loved the octopus and musaka
We loved it here. We went searching for a restaurant on a Monday evening, hoping to find somewhere good and memorable. This place was fantastic. Great atmosphere that drew us in, happy customers, fab service and wonderful, thoughtful food. The tzatziki was particularly superb, as was the rest of our
Delicious Mediterranean food! Small menu but packed with a big punch! A variety of appetizers with rich, lovely flavors. For the main course, I ordered the eggplant - cooked to perfection. Tender but firm, not mushy. The chickpeas were soft, buttery, nothing like I have ever had before. The combinat
Food was delicious. Not too crowded. Very unassuming front door. Friendly wait staff. Only thing is they don't have a rice pilaf. Their white rice was delicious but I was just craving for some extra oopmh in my rice. Otherwise solid selections.
Pretty good, I don’t usually like lamb but wanted to try it here and was so pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was nice and we had attentive service. Only 4/5 stars because they were out of some of the menu items
