The best........I have been to Paris 5 times and had pastries all over that city. This rivals any I have had there. Great place. I told the owner he should open up a store in Noe Valley and run the horrible Noe Valley bakery out of business.

I think I'll simply say it this way. I'm not a huge croissant guy, but this was *hands-down* the best croissant I ever had. I even told my friend we were nuts for driving all the way from Sacramento. Totes worth it! :)

This was the finest chocolate almond croissant I have ever eaten, like life changing delicious. This is going to become a constant in rotation. Tartine can eat their heart out, absolutely crushed it.

We had several croissants this morning and they were all excellent! My favorite was the almond croissant. The scones and morning buns were also great. Definitely worth waiting in line. This place is located just down the street from my brother's, so we will absolutely return on our next visit to SF!! Merci!

If you haven’t eaten a croissant in France and you think you know what a croissant is, you don’t until you taste it here. THAT’S a real authentic croissant. It is the best I’ve eaten in the United States.

The croissants live up to the hype (although I only had to wait in line for 10 minutes). If you just choose one, go with the chocolate almond — rich, lush and lip smacking good.

Super high quality traditional French pastries. Excellent all around. We tried 6 of their assortment and everything was delicious. Well worth getting up super early and being first in line to beat the lines.

As cliché as it sounds, those are the best croissant I've ever had! Their fragility is responsible for impeccable texture! The cheese used is very flavourful. And the service... is part of the amazing experience! Thanks, Arsicault, for making my trip to San Francisco even more wonderful!

Highly recommend the chocolate croissants and plain croissants. Their croissants are flaky yet soft and delicate inside. The butteriness of the croissants make even the plain croissants taste good. Personally, almond croissants as well as ham & cheese croissants are not my fav. Almond croissants are too sweet for my liking and the sweetness masks the taste of the almonds. For ham & cheese croissants, the ham is not salty/flavorful enough and the cheese is not punch, lacking a bit flavors in my opinion. Whenever I am in SF, I’ll come here religiously to get the plain and chocolate croissants. Expect a long queue but fortunately the queue moves quite fast!

Well worth standing in line here. Just do it. I stood with about 20-30 people before me but the line moved fast. I had the plain and chocolate croissant and they were incredible. This place is hyped for a good reason, they walk the talk.

One of the best croissants I’ve ever had! Warm, buttery, rich, and flaky perfection. Love the savory scone with bacon bits, chocolate croissant, and chocolate cookie as well. Got here at 8:10am on a Saturday (10 mins after doors opened) and the line was all the way down the street. Line moved fast but was still a 40 min wait.

Hands down the best croissants that ever had! Worth a stop any time you're in the area. The line is super long but goes pretty quickly, and it's just a small space where you order from a counter, pay, and take the pastries out from. The croissants are almost always super flaky and buttery with a rich taste. The only exception was one time when it wasn't as flaky as I would have liked, but out of the countless times I've been here it has only happened once. I recommend the chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and regular croissant. I've also tried their kouign-amann, almond croissant, and chocolate almond croissant. The kougin-amann and almond croissant were delicious but not my personal preference, and the chocolate almond croissant was the only one I didn't like (it was too sweet and a bit overwhelming in that way). I will definitely be returning again and again.

The best of all croissants I have ever had. They stayed flaky and crispy even after half a day. Long line but moved fast and so worth it.

It goes without saying this is one of the best bakery’s in the city. I dream about the savory scone every morning with my coffee and have been completely ruined when it comes to croissants. Everything on the menu is the perfect blend of flaky, buttery and freshly made. You can’t go wrong with a stop here (regardless of line size!). Pro tip: if you’re in a rush, head to their civic center location. 0 line, much larger scale and process. Also a great space to hang out and work from if you just can’t get enough and need access to go back for more.

Legit the best croissants I’ve ever tasted!!! I found the almond croissants too sweet but the plain and chocolate croissants are perfection. Their shortbread cookies are also amazing!

The bakery absolutely lives up to the hype. The almond croissant was the perfectly balance of sweet and buttery, crisp and tender, flaky and rich. Each layer of dough was cooked through without any burnt edges. The chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal as well. The line was long when we arrived, but it went pretty fast and there is a nice shade tree out front. Just get there early because items may run out.

Aráicault Bakery is an absolute paradise for pastry lovers like me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked goods. The croissants here are simply outstanding, with their delicate layers of flaky pastry and rich, buttery flavor. The chocolate almond croissant was a particular standout to me, with its generous filling and perfect balance of sweetness. I also ordered the kouign amann and chocolate chip cookie, both delicious. Although there is no seating, the wait is well worth it for the incredible pastries. This is a must-visit spot in San Francisco!

San Francisco must do list star. Incredible croissants and other baked goods. Limited seating so there might be wait for spot to sit at but this place is worth visiting. Grab the treats and take them to a SF park to devour.
