We're not usually into eclectic restaurants
We're pretty basic so we were worried about what our lunch would be like
We were thrilled with the tasty maple bacon fries, cheddar tots and funky burgers
Their homemade ketchup was to die for ❤️

Impossible Vegi Burger was out of this world. Great price. Good service. Clean place. Everything you might want. Will definitely be back for more.
Seriously we have never had a burger and fries this amazing! Can't wait to be in SF again so we can go back

Tried the impossible burger here and was very impressed. I have also had the truffle burger, and for me, truffling anything is an easy slam dunk. I was, however, disappointed in the brussels sprouts, which were not very truffley despite the truffle glaze, and below average in terms of actual preparation/texture. Service was on point; despite mistakes at almost every stage due to how busy the place was, the staff quickly remedied them. Overall a positive experience, despite the hiccups, and good food.
Incredibly delicious burgers. This is one of the few places that serves the impossible meat, if no one told me it wasn't meat I would never know the difference, the only way to really tell is to have another burger side by side for comparison. The truffle burger is to die for, if you are a truffle lover, this is burger alone is worth the visit. The place is a bit pricey, I would go back only when im really craving that truffle burger or when I want to take my vegetarian friends to a burger joint.

The Sam’s crispy sandwich was a good choice.The pickles an coleslaw went well with the special sauce and chicken
The Ahi tuna burger was a shock to taste not something i would normally order but i was glad i did i will ordering it again...
The wasabi wasn’t overwhelming in portion that was on the burger so i enjoyed it even more since wasabi can sometimes be overpowering the other flavors
This place is consistently bomb. Always get great service, never had a wait over 5 minutes and parking is super easy to find. I drive to SF from Vacaville JUST to eat here, turn around and go back. It's like that.

Really tasty burgers for every taste and diet! They have everything from chicken to beef to plant based, and lots of wonderful appetizers. Their truffle fries were amazing, and they had a great selection of beer and wine as well. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is due to how slow the service seemed and how long it took to get even drinks brought out (we sat right near the bar, and could see our drinks being poured), even though it was lunch time and not very busy. But, overall, great place!
I've been here 3 times and each time I loved my burger. The menu is simple and small, they have great appetizers and the best sweet potatoes fries I've had at a restaurant. What's super cool is that they serve their burger meat medium rare, just how I like it and they also have a great selection for vegetarians! This place pleases both and it does it incredibly well.
Everything is tasty and fresh - even all three table side condiments are house made. I wish burger portions were larger, but because of the quality of ingredients, your mouth is so happy and you can't complain. Service was super friendly - made a successful beer recommendation based on my companion's tastes, and gave a free birthday ice cream sandwich. We were not rushed at all when baby wanted to eat after us.
This place serves juicy medium rare burgers of high quality meat. I went for a truffle cheese burger with truffle fries. The fries were excellent too and actually tasted more of truffles than the burger. At first sight, I'd say the burger looked small for America, however it was sufficient for a light meal. Friendly atmosphere with a selection of beers and wines too.
One of the best burgers I have ever had! While the burger may look small, it pack a big punch! The burger only has the best ingredients and is full of quality flavors. The best part....IT NEVER FALLS APART! I don't know how they do it but the burger stays in perfect form the entire time you are eating it. Nothing ever slips out the back and the bun never rips! Its haven on earth. Lastly, every time I think I am not going to be full because the burger is smaller than say a Roam Burger, but I am 100% satisfied every time and would not want anymore. You end up consuming the whole burger without a mess, full, satisfied, and not in a food coma. Umami Burger for best burger in 2014.
Went here for the first time the other night. The staff was VERY nice and friendly. Our waiter was very friendly in a genuine way. The burger was delicious, and plated beautifully. I usually love a flame grilled burger, but this was a different flavor, equally delicous. They have a lot of fancy burgers, but I just had a basic simple burger. Also, onion rings were delicious.
I seriously cannot get enough of this place! I don't know how they do it but these are the BEST burgers bar none. It's not like some of the other great burger places out there that set themselves apart with crazy toppings and garnishes and whatnot. Umami gets burgers right from the start, something about the meat that they use and how they season it, it's phenomenal, they keep the toppings simple but they still consistently blow me away.
This is without a doubt my favorite burger ever. The manly burger is so rich and delicious I can never eat the whole thing. They have awesome sauces that go great with their cheesy tots which are off the menu, plus almost everything in their food is made in house. If you have not gone yet you don't know a good burger!
We went during happy hour, $3 truffle fries, $4 draught beer, $5 wine by glass and $6 starters. Fries come with four dipping sauces, all delicious. I had the slider trio and my love had the "smoke on the water burger. All were dripping with juices and they freshly grind their meat from steaks every day! The server was great too (thanks Mario!).
Always love the food at Umami. It's like a burger unlike any other, with delicious ingredients and incredible buns. Hatch and truffle burgers are my go-to choices, but you can't really go wrong here, I switch up my normal order quite often. The service at the Marina Umami in particular is always stellar. Really great people.
