This place is a lot cheaper than the cliff house but I think it has a much better view of the ocean and the greenery nearby. It was awesome watching the sunset while eating a hot grilled cheese sandwich (it was chilly that day). The staff are friendly. There’s quite a few options available. Slightly overpriced. They only accept cash. There is an atm inside the cafe. I would definitely go again.

awesome little diner with a wonderful history. The food here isn’t SUPER cheap but it’s also not crazy expensive by sf standards. For what it’s worth you get a bunch of food with your serving. The coffee is hot and comforting. The view is amazing. The service is kind and friendly. It’s an old SF place that seems to have an old SF feel. IMHO, it’s worth the visit.

Gorgeous views. Went before the rush of people so we didn’t even have to wait. Prices are about standard. Staff was super sweet. And my French dip was delicious, added cheddar cheese to it!

Incredible views without having to spend $70 a plate at the Cliff House a block away! The food is reasonably priced and you can't beat the view! The patty melt burger on rye bread was delicious, fries were meh. Cash only so have some cash on hand.

The perfect and affordable way to fill your empty stomach after a walk on the Coast Trail, while enjoying magnificent views to the Pacific Ocean at Land's End. Good value for money, especially considering the location.

A must go to place in the Bay Area. You'll miss it unless you know where it is. The view is amazing and the food is very good.

Food is great! Service is great! View is great! But their prices are high. Simple omelette with one meat and cheese will cost about $16 (without tomatoes or peppers; that’s another $1.50 each) plus tax, and they don’t take card whatsoever. I can understand the prices, but I can’t get behind not taking cards. So you have to use their ATM, which adds another $2.50 charge to the already bloated price. And of course, you should tip. You’ll leave paying $26+ for a simple brewed coffee and an omelette. I think management should consider at least adding the ability to take cards. It’s 2020 and there are many formats for a business to accept card (square, ect.).

Great server! Food was good but seemed a little bit too basic for 5 stars! But still it’s a four star! View is incredible, sitting in a comfortable booth you can see a giant pool of water, the ocean and, tourists galore! Overall it’s pretty great!

It's a nice little breakfast diner to have there. The food was decent and waitress was very nice and her service was helpful. Other than that.... I loved the scenic view through their large windows of the beach on the end cliffs edge of the land shores! Though it was a cloudy morning it was still a sight to admire and make me wanna bring my own company another time.

What to write about this place, should I tell u guys about the view, the location, the food or the service ... Sometimes am lost and confused between the tasty food and the ocean view watching whales .. it's fantastic, amazing, whether u r going there just casual meal, or u r a tourist or even a date it can make great place or even if u seek peace and relaxing this is one of favorite spots in entire SF. Hope u like as much I did. Oh and yeah order the salad it is very nice the vegetables are great and I have with it steak not very expensive, could be 25$ average per person including the drink.

Its pretty common knowledge that San Fran is expensive but this location was the cheapest (and absolute best) meal of our trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We had a late dinner and watched the sun set. This diner has the absolute best view we found! We even got to watch a whale play around in the distance. I ordered a burger, which was delicious for 11 bucks! My friend who is a vegan was able to eat there as well. Note: this location is CASH ONLY!
