Wow, this place is a vibe!! I am a frequent customer of Tony’s, and the bartenders suggested I come check out Capo’s since a few of them also work here and the menu is sort of similar but with that Chicago style pizza. I had the deep dish Johnny Torrio (couldn’t decide between that and the Deville) and it was amazing!! The peppers on top made it very unique. Also had the bone marrow bruschetta as recommended by the Tony’s staff and that was amazing as well. The decor inside is also quite nice. I’m definitely planning to come back since I’m in SF once/month.

Interesting restaurant with lots of pizza options. The pizzas take a lot of time to bake so make sure to account for that; however they are well worth the wait!

This is an Italian spot. From the same ownership as Tony's with an old school feel. Leather studded booths with brick undertones serving as a back drop for the historical environment. The food also reflects that with some classic staples that you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Food is still pretty good. Personal favorite is the deep dish and the sides. The only let down would be service. We were one of 3 tables and had trouble getting our order in. Also forgot our drinks and we had to wait to get our check longer than desired. Could be because they had just opened up for dinner service so the flow was still building. Overall still a great experience and the food is still as good as it was last time we went.

Great neighborhood restaurant for a family feast that brings memories back to your great grandma's Sunday dinners with classic traditional Italian dishes that will warm your heart and fill your belly. Friendly staff and patrons alike top off the overall experience. The Detroit style pizza was phenomenal!

Consistently good food. If you're not feeling a pizza, the spaghetti and meatballs is a classic here. Expect to spend some time here, thick pizzas especially take a while to bake.

This restaurant was recommended, so we tried it, 3 couples. We were seated immediately, a window side booth. Excellent experience as the hostess, waitress, and serving staff were top notch. Food recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed the three meatballs, calamari and artichoke dip for appetizers. The thin crust pizzas were awesome! Great tasting sauce and plenty of toppings. Great staff, incredible atmosphere and amazing food - highly recommend Capo's!

Yin and Yang. Came to Capo's in North Beach in SF and felt like a Mob Boss! Too wet outside to break out my pinstripe suit! I usually come for some delicious Chicago thick crust pizza. But, we decided we wanted to try some bone marrow this time! OMG! Gut, artery clogging bites of flavorful goodness! Smother it on the bruschetta like it's 🧈 butter. Put a small drop of the gremolata sauce. Umami. Should we order something a little bit healthier? 🤔 How about a Detroit style pizza with vegetables, 🐔, and w/ Hangar 1 vodka white cream sauce? (Dillinger pizza).🤣 Meatballs are simply ok. Drinks are really good. Great service and difficult North Beach parking.
