Tanguito - San Francisco - Photo album

Had the chiropan Italian sausage sandwich and it was really tasty and astonishingly affordable considering this is SF and in the tourist area. I have never been to Argentina, so I can't speak to the other reviewers claims re authenticity, but it is good. Very good service, and you can sit either alo
I had the pleasure of eating at Tanguito on my recent trip to San Francisco. I got the ham and cheese empanada. It was so warm and flaky and flavorful! I made friends with Estevan (sorry if I am misremembering your name, my friend) and felt like I was at home. Please do not sleep on this gem! Thanks
I just want to eat here every day!! Unbelievable empanadas. I loved the cozy patio out back and ordered more empanadas to go so my husband could try. Already craving more!
The choripán and the garlic fries are 5 stars. The beef empanada was dry and needed more flavor or chimichurri sauce on the side for dipping. The service is fast and all the food was made to order.
Very friendly service! Tasty sandwich and empanadas, really filling. Very cool experience and great location ❤️
Love the Place, love the food, love the space, in the back and is a cheap price for something nice like that, not easy is San Francisco, hope to find time and good company for go there again in a sunny day
This place is the most amazing place in all of fisherman's wharf. I used to work in the neighborhood, and there were the usual overpriced tourist choices and our building was always joking that there was not any really good restaurants around Fisherman's wharf that didn't cost an arm and a leg. And
Prob one of the best hole in the wall/food truck places I’ve ever tried! Very unassuming but the food is immaculate! You get more than what you paid for! We tried the empanada, which is unexpectedly super stuffed I love it! We had the Milanese with garlic fries and steak with rice - would get it aga
This place is INCREDIBLE. I am Argentinean, living in the US but only visiting San Francisco. I haven’t found a more authentic place of our cuisine in any other part of the US. The owner and cook is really gentile. The menu portrays our main dishes and desserts. Highly recommended. Furthermore, pric
We had to wait like 10-12 minutes , but THERES A REASON FOR THAT. The food was authentic, delicious flavorful, amazing! Listen, it’s so freaking good! What a hidden gem! Loved it so much!, and I’m from out of town and tried lots of different cultured foods. This is one of the best.
Excellent "Tanguito Burger" - great tasting and huge. Empanadas are delicious as well. Great owner and staff. Superb food, great customer service and affordable prices.
Maybe not the prettiest food truck, but the Filet Mignon Sandwich is just awesome! There’s couple of tables providing covered outdoor seating. Definitely recommended and for sure we’ll go back here. You might have to really look for this food truck, it’s not parked on the street but tucked away a li
Amazing food and warm welcome from the owner.
The veggie and normal burger were delicious! Same with the french fries and corn cheese pocket! We highly recommend this food truck! :)
the owner is amazing. his food is amazing. the man next to us got out of his seat just to shake the chefs hand and applaud him for his food.
The meat is to die for! You don’t need to pay a fortune to get the best Argentinean barbecue! The place is not fancy, or posh, a truck near Fisherman’s wharf, outdoor sitting, but what matters is the quality of the meat and cuts, and the love and perfection of the preparation. They only have soft dr
Overall I got a plesant experience, I was told to try the hamburger with chimichuri but I went tor the Steak Sandwich instead [crispy bread, lots of juicy steak, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, onion, and bell peper] it has big enough for 2 but I was really hungry. Great place for families, no spicy fo
Amazing short ribs, solid empanadas and very tasty chimi churri. Great Argentinian experience over all. I would also add to the list of things to try at Tanguito the Milanesas with fries and egg, a true Argentinian tradition. There were freshly made on the spot and tested great. Sunday’s lunch time
Amazing empanadas and delicious short ribs! The staff was also very kind. I could not recommend Tanguito enough!
