Been coming here for a decade, first time back for lunch after pandemic and change in management a few years ago. Quite good! Generous portions of fresh-tasting scallops and shrimp, crispy peas and veggies. Will be back.

Delicious Chinese Food, Right off Chinatown. During the lunch or dinner rush, you’ll have to wait outside for a table, but they turn pretty quick. The place is packed with lots of happy customers eating yummy food and it can accommodate large and small parties. Right when you sit down, they offer you hot tea—a great way to start a meal. We started out with the Xiao Long Bao ($7), six dumplings, stuffed with ground pork, chicken broth, and peanut butter. Order ahead because they take about 10 minutes to prep and cook, but they’re worth it! They were supple and delicious. We also ordered the Sizzling Rice Soup ($8 for 2-3 people, $11 for 4-5 people), a soup with chicken, shrimp, vegetable, and served with fried golden rice crust. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming and had no sizzle. The flavors were OK, and probably needed to be served hotter to make the rice sizzle and pop. For our entrees, we ordered the Kung Pao Prawns ($16), prawns sautéed with green and red peppers, and peanuts. The sauce was on the sweet side and the dish had good flavors and vibrant, fresh veggies—not a bad dish at all, but nothing to write home about. We also ordered the Hunan Smoked Pork dish ($13), pork sautéed with cabbage, green peppers, leeks, served in the “chef’s hot sauce.” This dish had more flavors and was great, although the pork was over-cooked and came out tough—but it had a great smokey taste. The kids ordered a crowd-favorite, Cashew Nut Chicken ($13), diced chicken sautéed with celery and broccoli. For kids and those who want a milder entree, this is a good option. My only complaint was there were no broccoli! Overall, this is a good place to get Chinese food. Truth-be-told, I’m not a connoisseur of this cuisine, because I just eat at Chinese buffets. But I would recommend this place to anyone.

Last day before leaving, we decided to try some Chinese food in the famous China town. This place wasn’t too busy which we decided to gave it a shot. The service was not too fast which is a good sign as they prepared fresh. The environment was very traditional Chinese restaurant decor. The server was very friendly. The food itself was very good. Being a Chinese myself and lived in Toronto over 15 years, I have to say the food here is authentic. I would recommend some specialty dishes which can be spicy 🌶!

I asked my Hong Kong born host for some authentic Chinese food. This is where we went. I have had " Chinese" food in Europe..and this place topped them all hands down. Service was great quality and quantity was great too. The price was reasonable. Very good choice.. Bob the American

This place is unreal! Such a ‘hole in the wall’ with absolutely amazing food. We got the onion pancakes, sweet and sour chicken, scallops, chicken fried rice, and beef broccoli with a bottle of hot sake and everything was better than the last! They serve complimentary hot tea as soon as you sit down and were really attentive!

Remember that place your parents took you when you were little and all you really knew was that the broccoli actually tasted good there and that fortune cookies were delicious? This is that place! As an adult, I get it now...it's all delicious!

I want to give this place 5 stars, but I sadly can't. The food is really good and on point. Though the staff is really what has me perplexed about my experiences there. I have had really good and funny waiters before. Two times actually. But a couple of other times had two different young female girls that could not speak any english. One visit the girl got our order wrong a few times, and it was hard to ask dietary questions with them. I have had many rude looks when I have asked to substitute an item with something else as well. Also wish they had combination plates, and not just only à la carte option at dinner as well. Sucks there is no open parking around though too. Usually have to park in the parking garage a block down the street at $2 every 20 mins. Annoying. I also wish you didn't feel rushed from the moment of entering, and ordering food to leave as soon as you finish your meal. I've seen them start to grab plates to clear when you aren't even done with them yet. Just wish the service was more consistent.

Our SF China Town favorite! Fantastic local run business, laid back atmosphere, and wonderful service. Was referred by a resident and multi-generational family of San Francisco. Some of our family’s picks; the traditional Moo shu (anything), sweet and sour chicken, and sizzling bean curd in black bean sauce. Sooo yummy!

I absolutely loved this place. The orange chicken was my favorite, very flavorful. I also tried the cashew chicken which was very good. My least favorite dish of the 3 I tried was the pork chow mein, it wasn't as flavorful as I expected. When we got here, we were greeted and sat at a table immediately. There was complimentary tea at the table and fresh fortune cookies at the end. I would recommend this place if you are hungry in Chinatown.

Its very decent. If you are an Asian/ tourist. This place is just very standard. But if you are homesick, this is da bomb. I ordered family style beancurd, Brocolli with beef, Yang zhou fried rice (shrimp, pork) Asparagus with meat And eggplant sauteed minced meat

Pretty good Hunan food, tastes more authentic that most other Chinese restaurants, but you would expect that from a popular Chinatown restaurant. i was seated promptly and service was good for the most part, given it was quite busy during dinner service. Waiter made helpful suggestions, given the large menu. Portion size was not extremely large, which I appreciate. I ordered the spicy garlic chicken which was very tasty and fresh, cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'll certainly come back to try other menu options. And of course they serve TsingTao beer.

Let me start by telling you I was surprised with how great the customer service was. Server was great. Hunan has the best Wonton soup and pot stickers I've tried in Chinatown. The Mongolian beef was so tender and my chicken cachew nuts was delicious. Their portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable.
