Great spot for ice cream in the Mission. They’re most known for their signature Secret Breakfast flavor, which has bourbon and crispy corn flakes in it. I wasn’t a big fan of that flavor but the honey graham flavor that was really delicious. The Hong Kong milk tea was a bit of a pass for me as well.

SO DELICIOUS, SECRET BREAKFAST, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE. And Vietnamese Coffee, you're not too bad yourself. The staff here is friendly, helpful, patient, and GORGEOUS LOOKING PEOPLE. If you don't come here for the ice cream at least come for some eye candy yayuh. Seating is limited, but they do have outdoor tables (: Also equipped with a restroom and water jugs, in case you want to rinse the sweetness from your mouth, BUT WHO WOULD WANT TO DO THAT!? Also, good luck finding street parking!

Couldn't miss out on Humphrey Slocombe on a trip to San Francisco! This was the last night I was in San Francisco and had to get my boyfriend this experience before we left. We got to the store 3 minutes before they closed and the person at the counter actually turned us down. I requested again if we could have just a scoop because we were visiting were leaving the next day. She was so sweet and we actually had a good conversation after that. She even gave us a tiny bit of extra of a different flavor of your considering just so we could try it. Now for the main part... 1. Secret Breakfast - bourbon flavored ice cream with corn flakes in there. What a beautiful one this was! Definitely definitely worth the hype! Perfect amount of bourbon and the crunch of the corn flakes and everything was just amazing. I wouldn't be able to stop at a scoop if I had that entire pint on me. 2. Stout and Ginger Cookie - another unbelievably good one! This was a seasonal and oh so good! That rich malt flavor of the stout and chunks of ginger cookies in there. Genius! Overall really creamy ice cream, perfectly sweet and a must-try!!

My first time and this is soo good!! I’m never an instant fan but this Icecream deserves it own place on the throne!! The plain ol’ vanilla was any but! Abs the cornflakes was an absolute surprise! Love it!

This is a must-visit for any ice cream afficionado. I stop by every time I'm in San Francisco. My favorite flavors are Harvey Milk & Honey Graham and Peanut Butter Fudge Ripple.

Awesome little tucked away ice cream spot. Blue awning that just says "ice cream". They give you free samples. Everything was amazing. I got their "Secret Breakfast" because it is one of their original flavors. It was good but if I went back I would get something else. Their strawberry was amazing! They also sell pints to go.

- secret breakfast: so creamy with a hint of bourbon, also had crunchy bits inside - honey milk + graham cracker: another iconic flavor, lightly sweet with crunchy texture - tasty ice cream but pretty expensive for what it is, costs 5.25 for a single

I think I’m too picky with ice cream. I feel like the ice cream here melts too fast but maybe it’s because the last few were ones with alcohol components. They have a new Van Gogh sundae which has turmeric and sun flower seeds. I could have done without the hot fudge. It’s in a great location for an after dinner treat

They have special/limited edition flavors all the time. There’s currently the blueberry boy bait, strawberry aqua Fresca, matcha doodle and concannon viognier + stone fruit (yes contains wine!) and Jesus juice (a wine and cola sorbet). Lines can be long but move quickly. Some outdoor and indoor seating available

Note that I purchased this via Dashmart and wanted to leave a review here for the ice cream specifically. The ice cream is real good but some interesting notes. 1) Some flavors like the Malt Chocolate are super sweet. It's not my thing. Other flavors like Caramel with Chocolate Nibs are much more balanced and actually I like that a lot better since the sweet doesn't overpower and I get to taste the great complex flavors of caramel, chocolate and even hints of coconut. 2) I bought a lot of ice cream and found that some pints came sealed and other did not. You can see in the picture that I took. The pints without seals don't look tampered with but it's weird that some are sealed and others are not.

Really fun ice cream place with unique flavors and a fun atmosphere. It wasn't busy when we went which was surprising. Upon a recommendation from a friend we got the secret breakfast sundae. I won't spoil the secret, but it was surprising and tasty.

Had the Secret S'mores sundae for something like $9. No option to split the single scoop and get two flavors so I went with the Secret Breakfast flavor. No clue what was in it but it went well with the fluff and hot fudge.

Best ice cream in San Francisco. Take home a pint of the Tahitian Vanilla and add fresh fruit for a heavenly experience.

This ice cream is so good I cry every time I eat there. EDIT: The ice cream is STILL so good and I almost cried again 😭 I got a scoop of Harvey Milk and Honey Graham which was TOTAL PERFECTION. Creamy and packed with graham crackers and a rich honey flavor. My second scoop was Hong Kong Milk Tea which really raised the bar on any and all of tea ice creams in the city. I don't know how they capture the flavor so well but by God, do they. My friend had a scoop of the malted chocolate and WOO! Talk about a chocolate ice cream that really melts in your mouth. They are one of the best ice cream parlors in the city, go out and tear yourself!! (I will say that secret breakfast is overrated and they have much better flavors like Harvey Milk Honey Graham. Sorry not sorry 😐).

My all time favorite is the Blue Bottle Vietnamese Ice Cream. It's not an in your face coffee ice cream experience. Rather, it has a deliciously velvety and almost buttery mouthfeel that I have dreams about! Whenever I come to Humphrey Slocombe's and don't know what to get or can't try flavors (like now, during COVID), I always know that the Blue Bottle will never let me down.
