This place is an absolute hidden gem! We were lucky enough to stumble upon it. Just when I almost lost faith in the SF cuisine, Baker Street Bistro happened... and I don’t review normally!
A favorite breakfast place. Food is off the charts. Never fails to amaze. Omelets are so fluffy you can't believe eggs can be that consistency. Love coming here.
The staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely amazing!! The French toast is to die for!! I don't get to come here very often but if I lived closer you can be sure I'd be here every day!!!!
It was great! The charming French waitress seemed to be taking care of the bistro all herself with the help of one busboy. She did a great job & the food was fantastic! I only wish my French was a little better, I probably could have used it.
It's not just about the food ( although it is extremely tasty) but also the whole experience. I will definitely go back! Best eating experience in San Francisco!!!
Amazing service! The staff is great and the food is excellent!!
Great Food! Excellent service! A fun and warm environment. My new favorite brunch place in San Francisco.
Excellent french cuisine, the escargots are very tasty without garlic overload, and the boeuf bourguignon is fantastic! Highly recommended.
The food and service was fantastic. Look forward to going back.
Great food and staff. Stayed open to accommodate us. Yummy!!!
We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Disney museum. Food and service was excellent. If you don't get dessert, you're missing out on the total experience.
The food was excellent!! The service was good and fast.
The food was fabulous, the service friendly and attentive. We shall return!
Had a birthday celebration with my wife at this charming San Francisco French bistro. The culinary experience was delightful, with each dish showcasing impeccable flavors. The attentive service made it a memorable evening. Highly recommend!
Everything a French bistro should be, and more! We went for brunch on a Saturday and sat outside. Even the patio chairs feel quintasential "French bistro". We shared the French onion soup, the daily quiche (it was Lorraine for us) and salad, and the chicken liver mousse. Everything was outstanding, especially the quiche crust. Amazing wine list as well!
So happy we chanced upon this place. We made a reservation about 3 hours before dinner and was pleasantly surprised w the quality of the food. Classic French dishes, but done really well. We ordered the Escargot which was brilliant w the puff pastry, pate de Campagne, steak Frites and Sole Meunière. The steak was incredibly tender and tasty while the sole with capers was incredibly delicious.
Service was warm and personal, and bread served was toasted and warm. It was a nice touch. We ended w Apple Crumble (or some sort) with vanilla ice cream. Wish we had more stomach space for more food. Highlight of our trip 👍🏼
We came here for their Thanksgiving set menu, & will be back! The owner is welcoming & kind, & the staff is friendly. Everything each of us ate was delish & plates were totally cleared by all. What a great experience.
Great French food for a decent price. The fish as well as the tomato salad was delicious. Highly recommend! Great service too
Absolutely amazing food, service, atmosphere. I had the pork chop and it was perfect! The calamari was equally perfect and amazing. Just know that our is not fried it is sauteed. The deviled eggs appetizer was also great and a must. The owner also came out to greet us. Our server was also awesome responsive friendly couldn't answer more. Will definitely go back!

A short walk from the Palace of the Fine Arts. This cute little place tucked into the North side of the Marina next to the Persidio is a wonderful gem. The servers, chefs and everyone else that we came into contact with seemed pleasant and welcoming. They ran like a well oiled machine and we were taken care of quickly and efficiently. The food was lovely and not overpriced. We will be back!
Very Very cute place with good service and solid brunch options! The place is in a quiet neighborhood too so it feels extremely quaint and calming.
Good:
Very cute aesthetic - especially for outdoor seating - we got a booth outside and it was so so pretty!
I really liked the croissant french toast dish since it was so easy to eat and melted in your mouth.
I recommend the mussels too - large portions and the sauce they come in is so great!
Bad:
Pate was also a skip for me, the meat tasted a little funny to me and was harder to spread.
No alternate milk options.
Didn't like the Croque madame as much as I thought I would - the sandwich was pretty average and I've had better versions at other places.
Overall would come again!
Friends took me to Côte Ouest Bistro for my birthday dinner last week. And what a delightful dinner it was! The food was impeccably delicious and the service outstanding. I loved the neighborhood feel and ambience of the restaurant. We sat outside because the evening was warm, but a heater was at the ready. We will definitely go back!
Make this your first choice for showing off SF to your friends and family 🤤🫶 the atmosphere is so charming and the staff is so attentive - making you feel like family. Take your time here and enjoy every bite!! Highly recommend sharing several plates, they’re all to good to choose just one for yourself.
