This place is awesome. We had the red dragon roll, the north beach roll and the 49rs roll. All amazing. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too hungry. Definitely recommend the restaurant.
Update: we have returned for a second time. Food was great and service was LIGHTNING FAST!!
Small Sushi restaurant in rather Italian neighbourhood. Best Sushi i had in California. Very nice and friendly staff. Can only recommend
Absolutely great place for sushi, portions and quality is much worth the price. Sushi quality is one of the best I've had in San Francisco and the customer service is the best!! FYI, their soy sauce is on the salter side 😅
My girlfriend and I have been coming to Sushi on North Beach a few times now. I can't rave about this place enough! The prices, quality, and service is unmatched. The owners are always very warm and welcoming. The sushi prices during happy hour are amazing, and they have great deals on alcoholic drinks as well. The quality of of the sushi is also very good for the price. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking out this place!
We sat at the sushi bar and we’re incredibly pleased with how friendly and kind the staff were. The ambiance was *chefs kiss*. It’s a tiny place but if you have to wait to sit down, it’s definitely worth it. The staff kept apologizing for the wait and we honestly barely waited and our food came out so fast. We did the happy hour menu around 6:45pm and it was a fantastic value. We got plum wine, spicy garlic edamame, California roll, cherry blossom roll, and crunchy spicy tuna roll. The standout by far was the crunchy spicy tuna roll. I wanted to order like 2 more just for myself. But everything was so fresh and so delicious! I can’t wait to go back.

Man this place is the bomb. I was greeted by a quickie and friendly sushi chef behind the counter when I came in to pick up my to go order. The place was buzzing which is a good sign on a rainy Thursday night. Brought my grub back to my place because I’m working too hard today but wow. Everything just tastes so fresh and amazing. I will definitely be coming back here again. I got the chirashi and a rainbow roll
Awesome food and friendly service. They get kind of busy, so you might have to wave them down if you want some more water, but I would go again.
Loved their Poke and my favorite roll was the Crunchy Spicy Sake. They have happy hour with some decent prices.

Absolutely love this place. I go at least once a month. I get the chirashi which normally gets me some high quality fish- super white tuna, mackerel, sometimes even ikura and uni- for under $20 at lunch! Cannot go wrong.
As experience,yes the service, food all matched. It was my 1st five trying this place and I was extremely satisfied. FYI, they should up.their prices but that's even more so of a bonus for us customers. Can't wait to go back.
I love this very traditional, simple sushi place that has an outdoor park-let for dinning, as well as inside. I try to go early to avoid lines and to get there in time for happy hour. Love the tangy unexpected flavors. The tempura is light and well, just wonderful! Prices are fair and reasonable for the North Beach area.
Simple food, very friendly service. About 30 dollars for the combo plate including tax and tip.
I go here when I feel like a treat. I have only ever been for the HH. I got the Wakami Salad, Nigiri Combo and Spicy Tuna Roll.
Mmm, the fish was so fresh and the gal serving was very nice and sweet! The bill was great too considering all I ate.
Absolutely amazing. The salmon sashimi is the best I’ve had in San Francisco. The plum wine is perfect for a sunny day. And I love the staff. On top of that, they have the nicest price possible.

Nicest staff ever! Spicy tuna roll and chicken udon was top notch! They're super accommodating and really seemed to care about my experience! This is my new go-to!
