In town for a conference and wanted some wine and tapas. B44 truly hit the spot!!! Excellent bites and some great wine choices. We really enjoyed the environment and our server was top notch, she made great recommendations and kept our glasses full. B44 is high on my list of must visit places when I
My friend and I were walking through Belden place looking for a place for dinner and decided to try this spot out. The restaurant itself is nice, the inside is very open and has an urban vibe to it. The staff here are very hospitable and attentive. We ended up getting the French onion soup and mus
3.5 stars. The food was pretty good, but nothing overly special for the price. was recommended the brisket cannelloni and it was just ok. Brisket had not a lot of flavor and the sauce was just ok. The fried calamari was the best item. Great crunch, plenty of seasoning and not overly battered. Not my
Ambience feels rather Spanish. A selection of Tapas and other dishes, service a bit slow. Quality is fine but not overly exciting. Best choices for us where the fried lambs with garlic and pastas bravas, also the chevice but we asked for only lime on it and not the regular one which also contains ke
My husband and I had a 6:30 reservation, but we missed it as our prior engagement ran late. We got there an hour later and thankfully they had one table available; however, it was located outside the tent, in the middle of the alley lol. We felt like the step children, but we were famished so we to
We had a wonderful evening at this bistro. The service was very friendly and it had a fun and funky ambiance. I lived in Spain for a few years and love good tapas. B44 did not disappoint. We shared a salad along with sizzling gambas ajillo and patatas bravas. They served bread to dip into the hot sh
Was a lovely dinner in an interestingly decorated place that is dual identity. Catalan/Spanish food and French food. The desserts are all in the French menu. It was an interesting experience to be in a dual cuisine (not fusion, thank goodness) restaurant. Wines were mostly from Spain or France (also
My family joined me for my retirement dinner at 6pm on a Monday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had no trouble hearing each other in conversation. The six of us shared 5 different tapas dishes and two salads from the Spanish side of the menu for starters. We each selected our own main
This hidden gem is a delight. Pedro and Manuel complemented each other as an excellent serving team. The shrimp tapas were amazing, as well as the mussels, and the rabbit. Fun and lively establishment tucked away on a quiet walk-street.
Loved this place! You can order from the Spanish inspired menu or the French menu of their sister restaurant. All dishes were great, though we found the french dishes edged out the Spanish as our faves. Staff was wonderful and atmosphere was delightful. All in all a great date night!
They offered the best paella I've ever tried! And the baby octopus and French onion soup were great too! The waiter and waitress were nice, however the experience could be better if the front desk lady got more smile on her face. But generally I'd rate 5 stars cuz the dishes were so good.
Excellent food, drinks, service, value. The mussels are consistently great. Everything done with an opinion, never boring or bland. Very nice heated cozy patio.
Their tapas are well executed and can easily cost a whole lot more in other SF restaurants. Surprisedly, their french dishes were a bit off, maybe just the dish that we ordered. It's a great and affordable place to have lunch or dinner. Extra star for having meal here with our two very well behaved
Good Spanish/Catalan food. Been a while since I've had paella and I thought it was quite good here.
The service here is good, we wanna try squid fideua πŸ¦‘ (which is off menu) they made it for us, and it’s soooo good!! πŸ˜€πŸ‘ Recommended
