An absolute must try spot for both people exploring classic gin cocktails and those looking for fresh new creations. The Barrel Gin Old Fashioned is a fantastic take on the classic cocktail - it’s light and orangy but with hints of juniper and citrus!

Found this on Google searching for great cocktails in SF while helping my son apartment hunt. Entrance is on the corner and tucked away. We were not sure if we were at the right spot when uber dropped us off. Sausage flatbread was very marginal (4/10) but kept us from starving. Service was top notch (10/10). We had 3 drinks. Gin Gimlet, Blackberry Bramble, and Unsainted. Unsainted was the most interesting and unique. Gimlet was solid. Bramble is the least favorite. Very cool vibe in the bar. Definitely would recommend a stop if in the area.

Great atmosphere. The food was delicious. Drinks are great too. The Bartender and a patron did us a great favor while we were leaving, thanks, guys! I recommend this place!

I was pleasantly surprised with this bar; I've heard it is amazing, but I never was a huge gin fan but their drinks were actually good. The food was decent too. Great atmosphere. Ofc it's a bit pricey but nothing far out of the ordinary for a specialty bar in SF. The only other complaint is it's right off Turk so your walk to BART is pretty bad, ladies especially shouldn't make that walk alone at night.

I love this place. It's beautiful and has a great ambiance. Ricardo made amazing drinks that were all delicious and just perfect. I've never not been happy when I've been here.

A proper london gin bar in SF with british flavored food to pair. We has the burger and fish and chips, and both were reminiscent of pubs we had eaten at in the UK. Cocktails were great, we don't normally like gin hut the Casablanca was great, and the Reaper was an interesting take on an old fashioned. Recommend makeing reservations on weekends, place is really packed.

Should come here if you like gin, even if you don't, you will find something that will pleasantly surprise you. Love the decor, could pretend being in London for a bit. Good fish and chips. Happy hour is decent.

Their selection of gin was heavenly and their knowledge of drinks was unparalleled. I am the gin lover of my group and the sweet lady who took care of us made sure everyone in the group found a drink they genuinely liked.

I love gin and had been wanting to try this place for so long. It did not disappoint! Endless gin cocktail selections! I liked shikoku G&T the most. It's citrusy (yuzu) and refreshing. Interior is subway-station inspired.

Great cocktails and nice service. The bar has an old timey feel. It's kind of more popular for gin based cocktails, but other cocktails are pretty good too. Definitely worth a visit. Appetizers were pretty good too.

They have over 730 gins on their list and it's amazing! My boyfriend and I came here while visiting San Francisco from LA because of a recommendation and it was well worth it. I had a flight of "irregular" gins that were made with botanicals outside the norm, like Oriental spices or tomato. Then I had the most perfect gimlet I've ever ordered and amazing clover club. My boyfriend drank some of the original cocktails, including the Phantom Drift and the Spanish G&T. The service was amazing, although we didn't catch our female bartender's name. 10/10 highly recommend, would go again anytime!

Delightful selection of gin, fun events for club members (free to join), and decent food. The price of food is a tad high compared to portion sizes but it's too be expected in San Francisco.

As a gin drinker, this place was a dream. I loved trying a couple of favorites (aviation, Ramos gin fizz) that I've had many different places and the versions at Whitechapel were top notch. I also tried a couple of their originals and tried a new drink (I had a friend with me, so don't worry, we were sharing, I didn't have 6 or 7 drinks). This place blew my mind and I'll be taking a cross country trip again one day JUST to go drink gin here again.

Features gin drinks. I had a delicious gin and homemade tonic. Beautiful building and atmosphere. Food menu looks good although we didn't eat here. Walking back to hotel late at night didn't feel the safest.

Maybe my favorite specialty bar I’ve ever been to. We went so early that we were two people of five there, so went got to talk about Gin with the bartender to our hearts content. There wasn’t a wrong choice on the menu.

First time going here and had a great time. The ambiance is chill and relaxing. The cocktail menu specializes in Gin alcohol; huge variety of Gins on the bar shelves. The bartender who helped recommended drinks and they were exquisite.

This is a fantastic bar! Especially if you love gin and England. It's based off of a traditional tube stop in Whitechapel. The back bar is full of exquisite unique and beautiful gins. A fantastic cocktail list. And bartenders who can guide you through the different flavor profiles to make sure you get exactly what you want.
