Really good Mexican style food. Ordered and they went above and beyond to serve us. Refills, silverware. Little things to make sure we were enjoying our visit as guests.

Coming from Albuquerque, I was a little skeptical about having New Mexican food in San Francisco... But all skepticism was gone after having my first bite! Not gonna lie, the stuffed sopapilla was better than a lot of places in abq! Haha

The vegan sweet potato tamales with tomatillo sauce are my fave! (I always ask for 'mild green' sauce but sometimes it is comes out really spicy, so double check if you're sensitive to heat!) I've eaten here a lot and it's always been delicious, the new menu is great for vegetarian/vegans too, but last time my carniverous-leaning friend got food poisoning after eating a burrito here, so I'm not sure what is going on with that...

Nice place, offering a wide selection of Mexican and Hispanic food options. Was impressed to see they had fresh roasted and frozen hatch chilies, that were used in their dishes and also for sale. A good place to eat and drink. Order at the counter and with a number, your food is brought to you. Good quality and value, with fun items, good heat and flavor. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Pretty good New Mexican good. I am from New Mexico so I know my food. It was mostly decent. The green chili stew was good but not the kind I am used too! The people taking my order were super slow and didn't seem to know what they were doing. And the guy preparing the food had to come ask me twice to clarify what I wanted. Overall, I would go back and it was good but could use some better management.

I have been coming here for years (a little less recently as I am no longer in the neighborhood). This place is a go to for healthy, well prepared food. The staff is friendly the service is prompt, the location is gorgeous and the place is clean and well kept. I love coming here for a relaxed lunch and a nice day as the wall to wall windows let lots of light in. If you are in the area, don’t miss out on this gem of a restaurant. If you aren’t in the area, expand your range and make a trip to Green Chile Kitchen!

The food is good (not great) and overpriced, however it is reliable and close to me and unlike some of the other Mexican restaurants or New Mexican is they bill this, it's relatively clean inside. The inside is a one open space with very high ceilings and a concrete floor. Consequently you hear noise from the kitchen and everyone inside and so it is noisy. I think the ingredients are probably high quality but the food sometimes lacks the flavor that it could have with a better seasoning. Their spicy chili isn't really that spicy, but they do have green chili. The place is about half full at lunch time and gets full for dinner particularly on the early side when lots of families taking their kids up from the local preschool stop for dinner. Even when it's not busy you can still wait a long time to put your order in at the counter because people don't figure out what they want while they are in line, probably because the menu is confusing and everything cost so much that people are searching for something that will be good and not cost too much. Maybe I should give this place three stars? The funny thing is it used to be so much better when they first opened years back, but either they changed owners or management and raise prices and the taste of the food went down.
