Service may be a little slow but the atmosphere, the picturesque location, and the quality of food was just amazing. Have a good quality of unique oysters. There fresh, warm sourdough bread that they provide to have inside also is great. Yes you have to pay for it. All the quality of crab and seafood and caviar just spectacular. The best part is that it is walking distance to the Chase center, so if you plan ahead you'll have a wonderful night!!

Service was a bit slow, but food made up for it. Happy Hour is not good, VERY limited options. May as well just call it $1 oyster hours. $6 for bread was ridiculous, especially when it wasn't very good, and they gave a tiny bowl of butter to go with. Fish and chips were very good, and the chips were perfection! Rose on the Happy Hour menu was quite nice and of good quality.

We recently moved to Mission Rock from another SF neighborhood and we're checking out all the places to eat in Mission Bay, so we made a reservation to dine here. The atmosphere is nice. Some views are better than others depending upon where you sit and which direction of the waterfront you face, but it's still a nice location. The service was good. We started with a cup of clam chowder, which was pretty good. I ordered the Mission Rock Cioppino, which I really liked. My husband ordered the dungeness crab and bay shrimp roll. He said it was okay but he wasn't a fan of the roll (bread) they used. Overall, the experience was okay. I've heard the brunch there is good so perhaps we'll come back to try that.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with the family. The place was not hard to find and parking wasn’t hard either. I could only imagine if something was going on at Chase center. Then parking would be horrible. I went with the Vongole. It was pretty good, would have liked more clams to go with the linguine, but that’s just my preference. Had good flavor and the garlic wasn’t overpowering. The wife had the buffalo chicken burger. I took a bite and it had a good kick to the chicken. Again, I think the chicken could have been more meatier, but my preference. Portions were good, if you take my preference away. Our teenager went with the tavern burger(not pictured) and I wasn’t given the opportunity to try it lol. The burger was devoured. I was told that it was pretty good and that the bun was nice and soft with a nice crisp to it. We shared the toffee brownie sundae, wow… Both the brownie and blondie were nice and warm. It complimented the ice cream perfectly. The brownie and blondie were not overly sweetened, just the right amount. Would definitely come back and try the other items on the menu. *honorable mentions* The garlic fries and complimentary bread (not pictured) Nice crisp to the fries and great flavor. Bread was nice and airy and just delicious.

Very chill place with high-quality food and great views of the bay. Walk-ins are accepted, but it's just easier to call and reserve. Ask for upstairs tables either inside or outside. The outside deck is also covered, and it's chill indeed. They've got a nice bar upstairs too. We had fish and chips and a burger, which came with a ton of fries! A cup of Clam chowder, which was one of the best in town! Next time we'll try oysters and wine. They've got happy hour deals as well. Must go!

What an amazing place with an amazing view and amazing staff! Have visited multiple times and each time the food and service have been perfect. We enjoyed early dinner before shows at Chase Center and there was plenty of seating. On one visit I had the Mission Rock Cioppino and my partner had the Jumbo Prawn Mac & Cheese, both had amazing flavor w/nice portions. On our last visit we had the burrata, grilled fish tacos and crab salad…perfect as well. The wine was outstanding w/nice pours, as was the Mai Tai. Lastly, the Espresso Martini…was crazy good! A must try! Parking can be horrendous and expensive…depending on when you visit, so definitely look for local events at Chase Center (the restaurant is pretty very close)…so that you enjoy the area and your visit to Mission Rock Resort. One more note, there’s almost a grab and go section on the first floor of the restaurant, so check that out if you’re pressed for time. I can’t review that section…since we didn’t utilize the service, but it looked like it was nicely organized.

Been here twice. Once for a company event. And again before a Warriors games. Both times had Great fresh food. Ceviche was so good. Crab and shrimp roll was delicious and fresh. Awesome service. Great views too. Can't wait to come back again.

We went for breakfast and everything was excellent. I love the views of the old shipyards and a more industrial SF. This place is more upscale and tuned then The Ramp nearby. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

Nice place for a view on the bay. A San Francisco gem that has been consistent since they opened. It has been a few different vibes throughout the years but they always keep good on the name.

Went on a Thursday at 4:00p and enjoyed their $1 oysters during Happy Hour. Also had the Frito Misto and the Mussels & Fries...always a hit. It was a beautiful afternoon on the Bay.

A hidden gem that’s got beautiful view and good food - tasty classics and modern takes on seafood dishes. Their happy hour for $1 oysters on Fridays rocks!

Went here with friends after a cliffhanger Warriors win! Everywhere else was packed and with long wait times. Mission Rock was clutch! They were able to take us on a moment's notice AND seated us outside with a beautiful view of the bay! It was relatively chilly but the heated patio as well as their well-crafted cocktails were enough to keep us warm. Their menu is seafood driven but there are lots of other options as well. We had the Grand Shellfish Plateau which was more than enough for a party of four. Their oysters and clams were freshly shucked, juicy, and packed with ocean brininess. Pair them with an Aperol Spritz or a Paloma or both, and by the end of the night you'd be cheering "LET'S GO WARRIORS!!!"

Got in at the beginning of happy hour on a weekday and had plenty of seating to choose from, so I got a great spot on the second floor with a view of the bay. Unfortunately it seems like their happy hour menu has been reduced and only includes 4 options, all drinks. I got one as well as the BBQ oysters, and while they tasted fine and looked great, they were a bit disappointing for the price. $18 for 4 oysters is pretty steep, but maybe it’s my fault for opting for these instead of the raw oysters for less. If I’d known the serving was so small, I’d definitely have ordered something else.

This place is right next to the chase center but also right on the water. A great place for a date, family meal, lunch with coworkers, or even a solo meal. The have it all. Atmosphere, great food, great service, nice views, and the most filling bloody Mary's I've ever seen lol.

I went with my friends so we could try out different options. They were all good portion and taste good. Especially the vegan options of sprouts with hummus, vegan meatballs are great. The bread pudding with vanilla ice cream is also great. There are outdoor and indoor seating options. The outdoor had heater as well. Overall a good dining experience.

This is a great casual place! Food is pretty decent, great fish & chips if you're into that. Delicious calamari. Pretty tasty chowders. Great drinks and ~amazing~ live music in the outdoor seating area, often. This guy sometimes comes around with a steel drum and he's the greatest ever. 5 stars to that guy. If you want to sit inside on the weekend you'll likely need a reservation but we rolled in on a Saturday afternoon and got seating outside just fine, which was awesome anyway.

The wooden boards used as decor and a nifty chandelier made of bottles add to the character of the place. The place is light, bright, and buzzy. The menu may not be very extensive but the portions are generous. The whipped butter served with the warm sourdough bread is lovely! However, the bread was a bit too tight and tough. The spicy, minty dollops that accompanied the potatoes in the American breakfast tasted really fresh! The heaters help to enjoy the waterfront without the wintry winds. The cocktails are textured and delicious! The servers are friendly.

You could make a meal out of just the appetizers due to the portion size and variety. The drink selection is more than enough to finish off the evening overlooking the bay.
