We got here just before they closed so it wasn't too crowded. Service was good & fast. The drinks were so refreshing, tacos were delicious. Indoor & outdoor seating. If you are looking for a place to have dinner before you go out, check out Flores.
Go for the happy hour and people watching. I know they have a full restaurant and patio in the back but what’s better than people watching in cow hallow?
The food was in point but the Margs didn’t meet my stamp of approval. Kinda weak, boujee, and could barely taste the tequila. But if you wanna do it right, you have to do the Equite. Don’t @me here I think it’s better than guacamole. And there goes all my followers
At around 6 on a Sunday evening it wasn't too hard to find a parking spot nearby. We were luckily able to be seated immediately near their outdoor window with our dog and a table of 5.
The servers were really nice and attentive. We ordered quickly and the food and drinks came fast too. It was happy hour so we got the 3 shareables (guac chip, salsa chip, and flautes). They werent super big - only 2 flautes in the order. Yummy though! But then our tacos came right after and they were so good! Fish (pescado) were my favorite and also carnitas.
We also order the sopes which were really unique and yummy.
Finally finished off with the churros and there were 5 of them. Thanks, enjoy!
Delicious mexican cuisine that is worth
the visit. The margaritas, especially the mezcal one (Flores) is amazing and one of the best I have tried so far. As for lunch I tried a variety of the tacos - fried cod, asado and pulled pork. Fried cod and asado were the best. Ensure to leave some room for the tasty churros with chocolate and lecce dip! Staff is friendly and you are able to also sit and enjoy on the outdoor seating.
Good place to go to if your looking for Mexican food! They have plenty of tables inside as well as dining outside if thats your choice! Highly recommend the three taco platter, their guacamole, & especially go during happy hr! Friendly staff too! Love the music they having playing too!
Loved getting to have my birthday dinner here! The food, service, drinks & ambiance were all amazing!! Recommend to anyone(:
Enjoyed the guac and drinks here! While I didn’t order a full meal, I can definitely attest to the items I tried being delicious.
Overall ambiance was cool but a bit loud, especially with the EDM music that was playing at one point. Thankfully we were seated in the back where the volume is much more suited for chatting.
Can’t wait to come back! Love the food, people and the atmosphere. It’s a fun vibe!
Yummy and flavorful tacos. Best guacamole and chips you can find. And delicious margaritas.
I ordered the fish and carnitas tacos. Highly recommend!
Lively restaurant with good music playing and a chatty vibe. We started with the guacamole and fried plantains. Guac was well-flavored and the chips were fresh and crunchy. The dip complemented the plantains really well, and the thick coating on the plantain was crispy. We also got the highlands tequila and mezcal flights. The veggie bowl for my main was a great flavorful mix of veggies, beans, and rice topped with avocado and pico. For dessert we got the churros and tres leches slice. Personally, even though I'm not a huge fan of tres leches cake, it was done really well here. kind of on the sweet side but it's not a complaint. the caramel dipping sauce was better than the chocolate dipping sauce for the churros. Service was good as well.
Excellent Mexican food. Service is kinda slow but folks are very friendly.
We got a bunch of things & everything ranged from Good to 'exquisite' tasting, as rated by a very picky Mexican wife!!
We got Taco Colorado (Pork), Sopes de Frijol (Vegetarian), Chilaquiles (Vegetarian friendly), Flautas. The Tacos & Chilaquiles were amazing! Our favorites by far!!
Thank you Flores! We will be back.
Highly recommended Mexican restaurant with an upscale setting, fresh delicious dishes, and amazing cocktails. Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Northern California’s Bay Area.
The ambiance is incredible with authentic Mexican decor spread throughout. There are even little fans oscillating from the ceilings. Latin reggaeton playing from well placed speakers and only at a volume that adds to the experience but if you don’t like loud music I wouldn’t advise sitting at the bar. The music a little too loud if you’re coming to have a conversation - if sitting near the bar.
They have so much seating and each area is different, it’s almost like being in a different restaurant each time. There is bar seating, outdoor heated seating, sidewalk observatory seating, back room seating with a dedicated minibar, and traditional indoor seating. You can be safely distanced from others if you’d like. Dog friendly outside seating.
The food is excellent here and most is similar to a small plate tapas restaurant except Mexican plates. The food quality is unmatched and so authentic that I couldn’t even imagine making it at home. Chips so fresh you can still see the oil glistening off their edges. The guacamole was out of this world and the chorizo flautas were some of the best food I’ve ever had. Words don’t do this food any justice. It’s just amazing - each and every plate that comes across your table.
Parking can be difficult here but if you drink around enough and are willing to walk a few blocks, you should find some paid parking at $3.50 an hour. This is located in a busy San Francisco area with a ton of restaurants and shops nearby.
Overall, an excellent Mexican restaurant and possibly the best in drivable distance of Silicon Valley.
This is most likely the best restaurant in the Marina. Fantastic location. Has the style of Mexico City, the vibrancy of Oaxaca, and the flavors of Yucatan.
Queso fundido was pretty good. The refried beans that came with carnitas were really good. The crust on the carnita was sweet and flavorful, but once you get past that top layer, meat wasn't as juicy. My friend got carne asada, and that actually tasted better than carnitas. Though the carne asada portion was surprisingly smaller compared to carnitas. Chicken tinga taco was okay. It's not worth the ~$7 price tag. I think tacos are a bit overpriced. I've had better for cheaper. I think overall it was a good experience. Very cozy vibe with dim lights if you are seated further inside the restaurant.
Great date night spot in the Marina! We ordered ceviche and chips + guacamole to start and the taco platter (six different tacos of our choosing, not pictured).
The pescado and carnitas tacos were great, but found the chicken tinga tacos to be a bit dry. The strawberry margarita was not overly sweet, and the ceviche was the highlight of the night. Would recommend to make a reservation before you go.
Margaritas were a-mazing! The Guacamole and the corn salad are a must (the corn was just sublime). Ceviche was okay but nothing special. I’ll defo be back for the tacos which looked really good!
Visited on a Friday evening with a group of 4 (made a reservation in advance). Ordered several different cocktails and a tequila flight - all drinks were delicious! Had chips & salsa and sopes (vegetarian). Food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic. Would definitely recommend for big or small groups!
Omg. This place. We eat a lot of Mexican food and are pretty picky. But this place was baller. So good. Their masa is phenomenal! And they had delicious and fun mock tails which I appreciated. Not too expensive. My only complaint was the noise. It was bustling inside, my husband and I had to text each other because we couldn’t hear. However, we are late 30s, so take our complaint with a grain of salt. The decor and music were great!
Great selection of cocktails and amazing staff. They're very friendly and gave great suggestions! The place is a bit too noisy on weekends with the music and people. They've a good system for reservations and waiting. Keep extra time for waiting if not reserved!
