Elite Cafe - San Francisco - Photo album

Great old fashioned! Love the overall look for the place. High ceilings, ceiling fans, private booths make for a romantic atmosphere. The food makes it great for groups. Unfortunately, service is spotty, maybe due to a small, overworked waitstaff that if you’re in a booth, you just tend to be forgot
The first thing that came to my attention is the atmosphere. Came here for brunch and had a great time. The second thing was the service. The server was polite, inviting, helpful, and even the owner or manager swung by to see how we were doing. Lastly, the food was delicious. The biscuits were so pe
I stopped here for a quick snack and a drink mid afternoon on a Saturday after hiking all around San Francisco’s hilly streets. They only had a small menu available at that time (I would say it was around 3/3:30pm), but that was perfectly fine since I only wanted a snack. I ordered a French 75 and
Awesome! Dinner last night was so fun! 🙌🏼✨ Fried chicken 🍗, grits, collard greens, beignets, vanilla/chocolate swirl ice cream 🍨, and a riesling 🥂!
I got the gumbo with added shrimp it was delicious. I also love the atmosphere my service at the bar was awesome
Love the black and white decoration. Drinks are good too. Table seats offers great privacy
Excellent southern comfort food! The fried chicken was nice and moist. Not much of a fan of white meat, but this was juicy! My friend who is a self proclaimed fried chicken expert enjoyed it immensely. The collards were tender and had a hint of heat on the back end. Ordered a sazerac which was one o
Been here twice for brunch and both times it was good, but not great. The avocado toasts is standard, but when I added a fried egg for additional $3, it came out cold. The portion was also very small. The hash is much more substantial and solid, but does not hold a candle to Brenda's. Decor is nice
We had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner, starting with a selection of oysters. I had the menu favorite shrimp and grits. Grits were a little loose, but shrimp and sauce were very tasty. My date had the fried chicken, and as a native Texan, it meet with his approval, as did the collard greens. A busy
Beautiful space and equally great NoLa fare. Great spot for brunch. I would recommend getting reservations.
The look and feel is nostalgia at its best. Food and service casual but prompt and friendly. The Meyer Lemon Ice Box Cake was a fitting end to the Fried Chicken Dinner. Oysters were fresh and cold the way they should be. Grits and Collard Greens top notch. No Fifth Star:Being Picky cause one piece o
Went to Elite Cafe now that they have remodeled and been given a new look and menu. I was pleasantly surprised, since I have eaten before the re-do (I thought it was decent). Cocktails have gotten much better. I really enjoyed the International Smoke and the clarified milk punch. For food, portion
Fantastic ambiance and bar. The wooden decor is stylish and works very well. We came here for drinks on a Saturday night. The bartender was friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. Their Meetinghouse biscuits are also exceptional. Very enjoyable, we'll be back in a heartbeat.
I am living in Louisiana so i know what I am talking about! Amazing food and drinks. Super friendly staff.
Myself and 2 fellow Brits went here for thanksgiving and LOVED it! The food was amazing, the venue was busy without being hectic and had a great atmosphere. Although it was obviously traditional thankgiving comfort food, it was done to a high quality and the service was also up to standard. There
My husband and I have been to the Elite Cafe twice together, and he's been once with a mutual friend of ours. From our very first experience — sharing one of the enclosed booths in the back — we were hooked. Given by Southern upbringing I couldn't be more pleased with their deviled eggs or fried okr
Awesome place for brunch or breakfast...their biscuits are fantastic with the strawberry butter. They happened to have a special omelet with short ribs when I went there recently and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh squeeze orange juice is always a plus and they also serve mimosas, bellinis among
